Well, I made a very big mistake in my life. I still regret for my decision I took on that day. Actually the incident is that I have to board a train on 28th of November. Unfortunately, I missed the train and I had to board on 29th of November. The saddest part of the incident is I have my JEE exam on 29th November which I am unable to attend. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Well, as the saying goes that nobody is perfect and like me, I had made one mistake in my life which was the decision of not pursuing my dreams of taking the U.S. exam for nurses. It was in my college time, after my college time, I decided to take the nursing board exam as a requirement to be a registered nurse. After being a registered nurse, most of my friends, they decided to take the NCLEX exam for U.S. which one of the mistake I made, I considered that I made in my life because most of them now, they are enjoying their life in U.S. Unlike me, I was stuck here for so long already in the Middle East and how I felt about this is disappointed, frustrated in a sense that it was really my dream to work in America, in the United States of America. But just because I was not strong enough to stand for myself during the time that I was given an opportunity to take the exam. My parents was pushing me to have immediately a work so I can help my siblings and until now, I felt that maybe if I just decided to pursue my dreams, I'm already working in U.S.

Everybody makes mistakes in their life and sometimes mistakes may teach them. For me, I was in a management group and we had to make new everyday programs for the school. I had some ideas with my student consortium team. I had an idea to arrange a quiz competition for the school. First, we went to ask Sir about this idea and he told us about, he said, first collect every detail, what are we going to do exactly there. But, that was the turning point for me. I made a huge mistake and for me it was fanning the flame and not a piece of cake for me. That situation was not a bed of roses for me because without his permission, we went on to take names and after a few days, Sir got to know about it. Then, they came to us and they yelled at us, scolded for why we did that. At that time, I was feeling very much awful because I had no mistake in them partially because I didn't know about anything about collecting the names at the first place. But still, I was the head member there so I had to take the accountability for that. During that time, I felt everything was unreal and it was quite awful for me as well.

So talking about mistake I made while I was studying at college, during carrying out a diagnostic evaluation of hearing, I by mistake committed a big mistake of placing the electrodes wrongly. So during my internship period, I was asked to take a audiological evaluation for a 10 year old boy. While doing the instrumental evaluation, I had to place some electrodes. So while connecting the electrodes to the computer, I made mistakes by connecting them, by interchanging the ears. When I came to know my mistake at the end, I really felt so bad about myself. At one point, I felt like I was not good enough to become a clinician. And so after that, every time when I consult a patient, I had a feeling that I am not good enough. And I always tend to get self-assurance in order to consult more patients.
