Here are the steps to follow to register for the GRE General Test online:
 

1. Create an ETS account on the official website of Educational Testing Services by providing your personal and contact information.
 

2. Once you log in, select the option to register for the GRE test.
 

3. Log in to your account and select the "Register/Find Test Centers, Dates" option.
 

4. Choose your preferred test date, time, and location based on availability.
 

5. Confirm your test details and select the payment method for the exam fee.
 

6. Pay the exam fee using a credit/debit card, e-check, or PayPal account.
 

7. Review all the information you have provided and submit your registration.

Once you have registered for the GRE General Test online, you will receive an email confirming your test date, time, and location. You can also log in to your account to view your registration details and download your test admission ticket.

How to Register for GRE (Offline)

If you prefer to register for the GRE General Test offline, you can do so by mail or phone.

• Download and print the GRE Registration Form from the official website of Educational Testing Services.
• Fill in the required information, including your personal and contact details, preferred test date and location, and payment method.
• Mail the completed form along with a check or money order for the exam fee to the address provided on the form.

• Once your registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email or letter with your test date, time, and location. 
• Please arrive at the test centre on time with your identification documents and any required materials for the exam.

To successfully book a GRE exam slot, follow these steps:

2. If you haven't already, create a profile on the GRE website. This will be used for all your GRE-related activities.

3. Choose the exam you wish to take, and indicate the subject you wish to take if you're taking the Subject Test.

4. Select your preferred test date and location based on availability. There are three testing windows options available for the GRE subject test, which is as follows: 
 

• September 16, 2024, - September 29, 2024
• October 17, 2024, - October 30, 2024
• April 21, 2025 - May 4, 2025
