Duolingo Results are valid for two years from your test date.


The test score will be emailed to you as soon as it’s available. You can find your scores by simply logging in to your Duolingo account. You will also find the history of all your Duolingo scores if you have taken more than one test.

The following modalities make up your subscores:

There is no option to review/recheck your Duolingo results. Students often confuse the ‘appeal’ option for reevaluation, but it’s different. Duolingo uses AI and human proctoring to score your test, which means there is little to no space for any errors in scoring. 
 

Therefore, there is no chance to request a review of your scores. If you’re unsatisfied with your scores, you may take the test again. 
 

The appeal option is for scores that contain a label ‘invalid’. 
 

If you receive an invalid result, you are eligible to appeal. 

 

To appeal your Duolingo results, follow these steps:

Log in to your Duolingo account

Find the ‘My Results’ section under your tests

Find that score report that says invalid

Describe the reason for your appeal

Click on ‘Appeal my result’ to submit

 

You cannot appeal a valid Duolingo result. You have only 72 hours after the test to appeal an invalid result.
