PTE Registration: Step-wise Process
You can book your PTE Registration dates as early as months before the test and as late as 2 days before the test date.
Any later than 2 days will incur a late registration fee.
However, booking as early as 2-3 months before the test may not be ideal! It’s good to book a date you feel the most confident about, considering your health, schedule, and university application timelines.
PTE can be taken both at home and at a test centre. If you wish to take the test at a centre, you must complete the additional steps of choosing your nearest PTE exam centre and booking a slot.
The PTE exam consists of various types of tests designed for different purposes. PTE academic is the right exam if you use the scores to apply to universities. On the other hand, PTE General is a good fit for non-academic purposes.
Both these tests can be booked online. The PTE registration process is completely digital and takes only a few minutes.
