When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Human beings are social animals and therefore we cannot survive without helping each other. Today I would like to talk about a situation when I helped one of my relative's daughter. It happened about 11 years ago while I was studying my final year of graduation. One of my relative, she was our neighbor as well as my sister's teacher in her secondary section. I was quite busy at that time because I was in my 7th semester and I had a lot of projects and seminars to submit on that semester. So I was hesitant to help her but finally I decided to take tuition for her. My sister's teacher, my relative offered me a big amount of money as a tuition fee but I refused the offer and I told her I would take tuition for free. Family and friends are the ones who are always there to help you. If there is any bad situation you are facing, there might be some situation where you feel like you are stuck. Family and friends are the go-to people where you go and whom you ask about help. For me, a same kind of situation arised about 4-5 years ago. When my younger brother needed help for teaching him Mathematics. He was very weak in Maths. So all he wanted was to know how he should solve Maths and luckily I was very good at Mathematics and my academic record was also very good. So I started teaching him and slowly he improved. It took him about a year or so but his grades were improving and teachers were also mentioning him that Shivam is the one who has improved in the class and that motivated him so much and it motivated me too that I could help people. But the motivation he got, the marks he improved were the ultimate prize for me. This prize was very overwhelming, I was so ecstatic that I could help my brother in something and I could improve him in any aspect. He was so thankful to me and he could not express in words about how thankful he was to me but the ultimate prize was that I could help him and I was very happy that I could do something for him in his life that will make him remember and I am very thankful for it.

Yeah, the event was occurring in my village when we had an occasion when my cousin's sister was getting married to a person whom she met abroad and she was totally in love with him. So, it was very difficult for her to get a permission from her parents to get married. As you know, in Indian custom, it is very difficult. Without parents' or family's permission, we can't get married to the person whom we love. So, she came to me and asked for my help and I was totally clueless about what to do. So, then I had to go individually to her parents. First, I met her father and I had a word with him and after that I went to her mom and I told them what it really means for backing up from the decision she had made because now she is loving someone and it is very difficult for her to go to someone else. So, maybe in a different scenario, we can think about a better person than the person we love.
