So, the most memorable event that I celebrated was my mother's 60th birthday. This is very important to me because it was a surprise for her. She was a very calm woman who never bought anything for herself or celebrated herself. So, I planned on surprising her with all her well-wishers, family members and friends as a surprise element to the event. I called all of them individually two days prior to the event and invited them to our house and made them hide in the ground floor. She went to temple and came back at about 6 p.m. in the evening when she was speculating that something was going on, but she did not think that there were nearly 50 people waiting for her to arrive and to celebrate her birthday. The entire family, to my surprise also, came with such a short notice without even thinking that I was a small girl who is doing all of this. They all contributed to her happiness and when she entered the room, she was on cloud nine to see all her elder sisters, brothers and her maternal relatives who she loved so dearly. My father and brother were also very vital in arranging all the food requirements and services catering to the people who arrived there. Without them, this event wouldn't have been possible. Even though I was the initiator in this event, I thank all of them who made it possible and surprised my mother and made her happy. In the end, she was left with happy tears and it was a moment of my life.

When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Talking about an important event that I celebrated was Durga Pooja. I am referring Durga Pooja as an important event because it is in our Hindu mythology it is a very important kind of ritual or devotion to Goddess Durga. Goddess Durga is another word of Goddess Parvati. It is another form of Goddess Parvati. I celebrated it in the month of October last year. It is celebrated all over the world by the Hindu community, Hindu communities of our country. Me and my family and my friends were all present in this massive event which was held in my hometown. Apart from this it was a really special event and an important event for me because the whole Pooja organization is of our family consists of our family members only. So I can proudly say that the Durga Pooja that is celebrated in our hometown is our own function. Moreover I felt really devoted mesmerized and I really liked the event that took place for three to five days starting from the day of Ashtami to the day of Dashami which is the last day. I really enjoyed being there. It's that time of the year which I really enjoyed because all our family members and our friends and my friends gather together and celebrate one unique and devote our one unique celebration which is the Durga Pooja.

    Band 6

Well, I celebrated a plethora of events, if I have to talk a particular one then undoubtedly I'll choose the Festival of Lights in my nation, commonly known as Festival of Diwali. I celebrated the festival of Diwali on 2 November 2024 with my cousins and we celebrated the Diwali by distributing the sweets and Indian desserts with each other, we also bought firecrackers to celebrate our Diwali, the experience was 7th heaven by me and my cousins because we celebrated a lot on that festival, I think it was a great experience with them to celebrate, they came from Uttarakhand to celebrate this festival with me, I think by celebrating this type of festivals always brings a lot of joy and fabulous moment because an individual meet their relatives, known person to celebrate the festival, we decorated our house with lights and flowers, I think this festival is very significant for our religion and this festival is celebrated by all.

    Band 6

I celebrated an important event on last month as it was a wedding of my cousin and all the relatives of our family came in the wedding and make it more memorable. At the marriage celebrated on February 21st to 23rd, all the rituals were celebrated by all the family members and this important event make us special and I can remember for whole life as it gives me an immense pleasure and joy and we all love to remember because in marriage we can see lot of gathering and lot of other formalities.

    Band 6

I would like to explain about one of the famous festival in India is called Diwali. We often purchase new dress and sweets. During that celebration, when I was studying in the school, I get around 3 to 4 days of leave to celebrate that festival. Moreover, after joining the college, it was decreased to 3 days. But the enjoyment for the festival doesn't decreased. One more important thing about this festival is purchasing a crackers. It is official to get crackers during that period because most of the children purchase crackers before 15 to 20 days earlier. So by that time also you can come to know that Diwali is going to get started. But later on government have decreased the time to reduce the pollution of burning the crackers. I think it is one of the important festival because it helps the people to gather and exchange thoughts and make themselves free and stress relief. Because during this festival, we exchange sweets and give money to our family to create a strong bond.

    Band 6

The most important celebration that I've ever celebrated in my life is after my 12th grade, after the result. I have got a very good result that year. I've put in a lot of hard work to reach that goal. I've always wanted to have a good marks after in my 12th grade because I have to apply for university and I always wanted to try for outside country and after the result I'm quite satisfied with my marks. So I decided to like I have to celebrate this moment. It is like my first achievement, first major achievement in my life. So I really wanted to celebrate it. I celebrated it with my family. They were very happy with my achievement. They were all very much supportive with me. They have supported me through all the years and they were really happy with my achievement. It's a very good experience for me. This celebration is like a motivation for me. It's very important for me. It motivates me to do even better. It motivates me in a lot of other aspects. Moreover, I can get together with my family and we can have this belief that there is nothing impossible.

    Band 6

Well, I want to discuss, I want to tell something important that has I celebrated was my parents anniversary and it was the 25th anniversary of both of them. So I was very curious that if they have planned something about their 25th anniversary or not then before, before 22, before two months before, before their anniversary date, I start very knowing that if they are planning something or not. I asked both individually, are you planning something or not? Then I get to know that they have no basically any something special plans about their anniversary. Then I called my cousins and my brother that I'm going to give a surprise to my parents for their 25th anniversary and I want some suggestion that how should I plan their party and how, what, what they are, what they like, what they would like them for. So I decided everything and I take suggestions from my cousins, my older family members, my grandparents and above all, I never take, I never take, I had to plan that I'm not going to keep in loop about to my parents about that I am preparing and I am going to give surprise to them. So on the day, before the two days of their anniversary, I start preparing, I plan everything according to them. I put some plays and some games, I like some dancing competition, some music competition and I gifted them a beautiful watch to my father and a beautiful ring to my mother. At that day, I just invited all the relatives, close family members, friends of my mother's and friends of my father's. We all get collected and I, they both enjoyed that day a lot. They have done a lot of things for me and I think that's why it is necessary that sometimes children also give a special, give a special treatment on a special occasion to their parents.
