About apologies, I can say that whenever I am receiving apologies, I usually try to understand the intention behind them. If the person is sincere and regrets their actions, I accept the apology gratefully and move forward. Forgiving someone not only helps rebuild trust, but also brings peace to the relationship too. So, this is my thinking about the apologies, otherwise I don't have any other words to discuss about it more, so this is the point I hope you will receive. At the time, I also consider the contents and my relationship with the person. If the apology comes from someone close, I focus on resolving the issue and strengthening the bond. On the other hand, if it's a casual acquaintance, I acknowledge their apology and let the matter go, maintaining mutual respect. I try to take lessons from the accident, whether it's setting boundaries or improving communication, each situation offers an opportunity to grow.

That's why I was felt annoying about his activities. Then I have tried to call him to speak about the matter, but he didn't pick my call. It was such a bad instance in my life. So after a few days I received a message from him about his apology. He told me that he had an unexpected accident on the way to his home, that's why he didn't pick my call. So the reason was quite acceptable, that's why I accepted his reason. Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

The apology that I recently got is my phone of a friend, who used to be my best friend till childhood. We used to be very good friends back and due to some disheartened reasons, we just broke apart and he went to abroad for studies. And then we both don't speak much and in spite of best friends, we... But others never knew that we are not speaking but we both know that we are not speaking much like before and this leads to fight between both of us. And he was just a fascinating character and he assisted me in many things to help me in studies back then. He used to describe me as... he used to tell people and describe them with character and other things. Initially, it all just went very good but one extensive part of time, we both had some relations and sports issues. However, he won in it and I lost it but more often, I would win the race so that just helped some fight between us. In addition to this, other friends are just heating up those conversations.

Band 6-7

There are a lot of times when we make mistakes and we realize that we have done something wrong and then we say sorry to the person and we feel sorry. There was a time when someone apologized to me as well but in a special way. Actually last year me, I and my husband were on a vacation but there were some confusion among us because like I was waving towards him and he thought I am waving towards the man behind him. So he got angry and fought with me. There was a lot of chaos and when he looked like when the persons behind them started like when they made my husband understand that your wife was waving to you not to us. We are just like making fun of you. They said there is no like relationship between us. Then my husband finally got to understand that this was a misunderstanding and then he started apologizing me but like I was angry. But you, you shouted at me. No, I can't. So then he made a car by himself and said sorry. He specially planned a valentine type date with some, a lot of balloons, red balloons and it made me feel so special. I was joyed. I loved.

Band 6-7

I would like to narrate an incident that happened to me long ago. It was during my school days when we had practical chemistry and in the lab one of my partners had unknowingly touched a heated test tube to my arm. It sealed the skin and caused immeasurable pain. The very instant instead of checking if I was okay, she had gone ahead to say I had to be careful to not encounter such accidents. This of course did not go unnoticed and she received backlash. Moments after she apologized but I doubt if whether this apology was from her after realizing her mistakes or was it just to save face. But this made me realize how fickle humanity is about realizing their mistakes and apologizing for it. We should encourage an environment where it does not happen. Mistakes are common. Everybody does mistakes but the most important part is not repeating it or doing it. It's about learning from it and not re-repeating it again. It's a step towards learning. Hence I believe it should be earnestly encouraged rather than discouraged by a today's society.

Band 6-7

There is one instance that I'd like to talk about where I received an apology. My best friend took my necklace which I received from my parents as a graduation gift and accidentally broke the necklace. That necklace held a very significant value in my life because it had been designed and created with the gold that belonged to my grandmother. It was a gold necklace which was also very expensive. So damaging it would make me feel very heartbroken. I was furious at her at first but after our discussion she told me how guilty she felt. While I was very angry, I realized that our friendship meant more to me than her mistake. I decided to apologize to her and I accepted her apology. This entire anecdote reminds me about the value of friendship and how our bond was strengthened with her apology. Although some people believe that apologies are an attack to their ego, in this incident her apology proved to be significant for me as it made me feel that she truly realized her mistake. At the end of the day, she is my best friend and I feel great that she apologized and realized her mistake.

Band 6-7

In my life I have received too many apologies, but every apologies have such a wonderful experience for me. I do not forget every apologies in my life. One thing I would like to share is the best apologies I have received from some of my friends. So the reason was quite acceptable, that's why I accepted his reason. But I do not allow anyone to cross my limits and if someone says to send money or any others within time, I expect it within time.

Band 6-7

This reminds me of my childhood friend. Her name is Carolyn Niveda. She was my friend since my first standard and to be more precise, she is my first best friend I've ever had in my life. So, once when we were studying in our 5th standard, I think, I don't remember the date precisely, but she was a bit jealous of me because I was singing and many were more focused on me than her. So, she felt like a bit left out or someone who was not given much importance among people. So, one day she went behind my back and told everyone that I was not a very good friend to her, that I had hurt her a lot of times and mistreated her a lot of times. So, she wanted to leave the friendship and come out of the friendship, but I was very cruel to her, which was not really true. She made all that up and told everyone wrong about me. As a result of which, many friends of mine stopped talking to me, had a wrong opinion about me and this impacted me a lot. Finally, one day, on the last day of our school, she came to me by herself and told me that she felt very bad for what she had done and she wrote a very beautiful letter apologizing for what she has done. At that very moment, it felt better to me. Until then, I was having a very bad friendship.

Band 6-7

I received an apology when I was a kid. It was my birthday. It was my 10th birthday. My parents were out of town and they couldn't make to meet me on my birthday. As a kid, I feel birthdays are really special, even today. People usually feel low on their birthday, even when people don't wish them. As a kid, it was really difficult for me not having my parents by my side on my birthday. My mom apologized to me on my birthday because she was not there beside me. That was my first apology. Initially, I didn't understand the way she was apologizing. It was the first time someone was apologizing to me, so it was difficult for me. Later, when I understood the situation, it was okay for me. I accepted her apology and we had a great time the next day. She took me out and we had a good time together. The thing which I missed on my birthday, I received the next day. The apology was accepted. I feel that saying sorry is really important because the person who felt bad would really feel better with one sorry. That was my first apology. Then I learned that saying sorry means a lot to the other person. From then, I never took a foot back for saying sorry to anyone. That was the first apology I received from my mom. It was on my birthday. It made me feel better that day. We spent a really good time the next day.

Band 6-7

So there was this incident when I was in 1st or 2nd standard. I still remember it like yesterday. This was the first thing which came to my mind when I heard the apology. So during that time me and one of my mother's friend used to walk way back from school with her child. Means my mother's friend's child. So we were walking together and our parents were behind. But at some point there was an auto parked and me and that girl was on conflict that we will pass the auto and wait for our mother. But she went back to her mother but I passed the auto. And that's the point where I went missing. It was just 2 feet apart but still I went missing. I went back the auto to see my parents and she was not there. I panicked, I walked across the street and that's when a teacher from our school caught me and she called my mom on phone. And I thought she would be happy fighting me but that wasn't the case. She was a typical mother and she came with me and gave me a slap. That's the first thing she did. And when I reached back home she threw my bag. Everything was flying in the air. But later that day she apologized to me and I quickly forget.

Band 6-7

Well, the instance when one of the person apologised to me was back when I was in school. So it was a friend of mine, a close friend of mine, who studied with me in middle school. So this instance happened when there was a situation where she thought that I did something relating to her getting scolded by the teachers, but in fact that I did not do anything. It was another friend, but she misunderstood that it was me. However, she did not go to the extent of investigating the matter further, but she just directly came at me and, you know, she shouted at me and also asked me to apologise to her for that particular problem. Then what happened is that she got to know from the teacher that I was not the reason for her to get a punishment from the teacher, but it was another person. And then she came and apologised to me again. So that was the reason when, you know, it was like a two-way apology. First I apologised and then she came and she apologised. Furthermore, how I felt about it is that I honestly, I didn't feel good about it, but definitely not good about it, but I also did not care about it much. I did have this thought in mind, like, why is she not investigating? Because anything you take, you should investigate first and then only you should go and point out a person, right? That was my ideology. And then now we are good friends. So that's it. She realised her mistake and I'm happy that she did realise her mistake. So that was one such incident that happened in my school days.
