So, I will talk about my study table on which I usually study. So, it was a gift from my dad just before like two or three years back and it's really very useful and I have a lot of memories on that table and not only I only studied there but also I sometimes used to eat which is not recommended at all and I would say that the table is very much good. I mean the condition was really good when it first came to our place and I could move it from any place to another since it had got some wells underneath but right now the wells are somehow damaged a little because of continuous friction I think so. So, I would really like to replace it at least if I don't replace the whole thing but only the wells that would help me to carry it from one place to another place and make it usable again that it used to be before.

Follow up questions

What features do you look for in a new study table?
When looking for a new study table, I would prioritize sturdiness, size, and storage options. I want a table that can accommodate my books and laptop comfortably, and ideally, it should have drawers or shelves for better organization. A design that fits my room's aesthetics would also be important.

How do you think a new table would improve your study habits?
A new table would likely enhance my study habits by providing a more comfortable and organized workspace. With a better design and functionality, I could focus more on my studies without distractions. It would also motivate me to spend more time studying in a pleasant environment.

Do you think sentimental value affects your decision to replace items?
Yes, sentimental value plays a significant role in my decision-making. While I recognize the need for a new table, the memories associated with my current one make it hard to let go. I often find myself weighing the emotional attachment against the practical benefits of a replacement.

So, I always ask myself, is there anything that I want to replace in my life or get something better? And there is one thing and it's a necklace. It's like a butterfly with a silver chain and it was given by one of my lovers. And he is my man in this world and I miss him a lot. And the necklace is still in my cupboard. It's kept there. And I always think that I want to replace it or need to move on from it. It's very hard for me to let go and not think about him. And whenever I see the necklace in my cupboard, all the memories, all the good deeds, everything given by that man, it just flashes in my mind. And it just screams that I love him and I don't want to let him go and stuff. But the more I see the necklace, the more I realize that I want to change myself. I want to be capable of doing something and I need to forgive everything and forget everything. And then later on I realize that at some point I won't be able to move on, but I need to. That's why I think there is this necklace that I want to replace by. And I do miss him sometimes, but the necklace just reminds me of him. And sometimes I get too depressed about it and not able to do stuff. But later on I feel that maybe I should do it. Maybe I should move on for him and for me, for our better lives. But yeah, that's the one thing I want to replace. And there is one more thing I would like to replace is this broken doll. It is a written doll, it's broken. It was given by my auntie. And I want to replace it because it was...

Follow up questions

Why do you think it's difficult to let go of sentimental items?
Letting go of sentimental items can be challenging because they are tied to memories and emotions. They remind us of people, experiences, and feelings that we cherish. In my case, the necklace symbolizes love and connection, making it hard to part with.

How do you think replacing items can help in moving on?
Replacing items can serve as a symbolic act of moving on. It allows us to create new memories and associations, helping to break the emotional ties to the past. For me, replacing the necklace could signify a step towards healing and embracing new beginnings.

What other items do you think people often find hard to replace?
People often find it hard to replace items like gifts from loved ones, childhood toys, or family heirlooms. These items carry deep emotional significance and memories, making it difficult to let go. Each item tells a story that is hard to forget.

When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

The topic I am going to speak about is my bike, which is bought in 2011, I suppose. Since 2011, I am using this bike. I have so many memories with this bike, but unfortunately, it has been nearly 12 years I am using this, so I have to replace. I have many starting problems and lot of problems technically while I am traveling far. So I couldn't take my bike for a long distance. It is only used to shop, I mean go for shops, which is near to our house and in local region. So I have planned to replace the bike with an electric bike, which will help me financially too. And since my old bike, I mean the bike which I have now, is literally consuming lot of petrol, so that I have to pay nearly 200 rupees for each day or else two days once. So I am in a situation to replace my bike, which I really going to miss. I am eagerly waiting for my electronic vehicle too.

Fortunately, I got everything that I needed. My parents have turned no stone unturned in giving me whatever I want. They have fulfilled all my necessities and everything that I expect from them. Sometimes they go beyond my expectations and get something very expensive. To answer this question, I would like to say that I will want to replace my mobile phone. Actually, it was their love that they wanted to surprise me with an iPhone but I really didn't want one. It was because iPhone has its own disadvantages. For example, it has a very low battery health. It has poor battery health. That means it needs to get charged again in a little while. Another thing about iPhone is the storage problem. They do not know much about phones and have got me a 62 GB mobile RAM phone. I wanted to have a 256 GB phone and so I want to replace this one. If I was told to replace this phone, I will get myself any Android phone. For example, S24 Ultra because it has much more features than this and it has a bigger battery than iPhone. Also, it can serve as a power bank and we don't really need to carry our charger everywhere with us. If I was told to do so, I would definitely go for it.
