One of the web series which I recently watched is Hospital Playlist. I watched it soon after my graduation. The story revolves around four best friends who are doctors. They work in the same hospital, specialization in different branches. They developed their friendship during their college days. The story shows a perfect work-life balance of a doctor. These friends who are also passionate about music. On weekends, they gather together in their old dormitory where various musical instruments are placed. They practice a song all throughout the week and sing it during the weekend. It is their way of taking a breather. The story also reflects the compassionate side of the doctors who risk their own life to save the patients. Also they sometimes pay the money for the treatment out of their own pockets. The daily life is depicted very clearly. The hardships which they face is also shown very beautifully in the series. This is one of my comfort series and I love watching it from time to time.

I usually enjoy watching anime with different genre but the one I love the most would be One Piece which I saw during my college days. The story is about a boy exploring the world of sea in a form of a pirate ship where he goes to different countries and explores it. What I love the most about this series would be how it talks about the real-life social issues like racism, slavery, gender bias, corruption, power imbalance in the world in a very intriguing way. Additionally, it focuses on teamwork and friendship. It talks about how one person cannot accomplish everything and there is no issue and there should be no hesitation to ask for help. And I like how they have made the characters with different personalities, addressing and inclusive of all types of people.

When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

My favorite web series is Vampire Diaries. It's really very interesting and it is also the first web series I have ever watched. It is all about supernatural vampires, werewolves and witches living together and their superpowers, how they get to a cure which turns vampire vampires into humans and how all these communities fight for that cure. Generally I like the genre of thrillers so it became my favorite and the roles, especially the Stefan role, it's a wow. I became his fan after watching this web series. At last when he died it was really emotional and the love between Stefan and Catherine is also very good. The brother bond shared by him and Damon and the friendship goals and the parties, college environment all were shown very well in this web series. So I recommend everyone also to watch this web series who like thriller genre and I have never seen again any other web series like this. I binge watched it many times and I still watch it in bits whenever I feel like watching something good.

The web series that I like is called as Sherlock and I watched it recently but I've also watched it multiple times in the past. I just like re-watching it and re-visiting it all the time. The theme of this series is that it's a thriller series, a detective story. I have always liked true crime documentaries and this is one of those mysteries which is a classic and it's been going on since a very long time, Sherlock Holmes, written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and this adaptation is particularly an interesting one as this has been adapted in Britain and the character or the actor who plays the main lead is Benedict Cumberbatch. Along with that the actor who plays his best friend and comrade is Martin Freeman who plays Dr. Watson. Overall what I like about the show is the characters, the storyline itself, how they have taken a modern take towards a very classic story. Along with that I do like the cinematography of the entire show. There is a convergence of grey characters which are not morally right or wrong overall and the overarching theme of the entire story in itself is the friendship between Watson and Sherlock which I admire quite a lot.

Follow up questions

What do you think makes a good detective story?
A good detective story should have a strong plot with unexpected twists, well-developed characters, and a sense of suspense. It should engage the audience and keep them guessing until the end. The balance between mystery and character development is crucial for a captivating narrative.

How do you feel about adaptations of classic literature?
I believe adaptations can bring classic literature to new audiences, making it more accessible. However, they should respect the original material while adding fresh perspectives. A good adaptation captures the essence of the story while also providing a modern context, as seen in Sherlock.

What other web series or shows do you enjoy?
I enjoy a variety of web series, particularly those that blend genres. Shows like 'Stranger Things' and 'Mindhunter' are favorites because they combine elements of thriller, drama, and psychological intrigue. I appreciate series that challenge my thinking and keep me engaged throughout.

So, I watched a web series known as Dubai Bling. So, in this particular series, it shows about the life of Emirati culture and how they live a lavish world in the United Arab Emirates. Also, the show portrays friendship and the strong bonds associated with it. That made the show most interesting. Nevertheless, it shows how the celebrities and the big stars in Dubai live a lavish life, securing a topmost position in the esteemed area of Dubai. And the concept was very nice due to which it showed even after having a lot of money, you still need to be down to earth and grounded. That was the concept which made a very meaningful end towards the show and whatever may be the situations which the friends in the series had ups and downs, they made it a point to make up at the end of the show, which played a main and vital role in the teaching of the show.

There are many web series I would like to watch but I would mention here The Suits. The Suits is the web series in which there are people who are majoring law and running a law firm. In that Mike Ross was an intern and Harvey Specter his mentor. Actually Mike Ross was a poor prodigy so he do not have the money to learn such laws but his mind was so sharp that he can grasp up many things and the facts that are mentioned in the piece of paper as well as he was good at numbers too and his law firms has many challenges and many cases which are not being solved from years but after Harvey Specter the best mentor I would mention here of Mike Ross had taught him that how to run a law firm and helped him to solve cases. Moreover the web series also tells about the life lessons which are being learnt throughout the law cases so that's the best thing I look upon and there are many such cases in which you have to mull over to get up to a different perspective as well as to know the intentions of the other person that too is called as human psychology that has been also shown in that web series.
