Coming to social media, it has become a one-truth source of information, whether it's Palestine or whether it's the Nepal Revolution. For me, personally, something that drew my attention a few weeks back, a few months back, was this Nepal Revolution, which was where the corruption was overtaken by Gen Zs. And I found it really very interesting, because we think that Gen Zs are lazy. That's what the Harvard study says. But toppling the whole monarchy in such a small span of time, and then having the election done and electing somebody who they thought was worthy of it, is exemplary. Something that not everybody is ready to do and partake in it. The later part of it, that after the revolution, they cleaned their streets and saw that they were ready to have a new place, have a new government, and a new society. That clip, where they were cleaning the street, it inculcated that they were ready to have something more than corruption. They wanted change, and they are ready to dive into it and do it.

One of the most interesting things I've come across on social media was a short video about a doctor who designed low-cost prosthetic arms for children using 3D printing. I saw it on Instagram about six months ago while I was scrolling through my feed. The video showed how he created colorful, customizable prosthetic arms for kids who couldn't afford expensive medical devices. What really caught my attention was how he combined medicine, technology, and creativity to make a real difference in people's lives. The children looked so happy and confident after receiving their new arms, and it was heartwarming to see how something so technical could have such an emotional impact. I found it interesting because it reflected the power of innovation and compassion working together. So, a few months back, I saw an amazing advertisement on social media. While I was scrolling through the app, I saw an ad pop up to me. And it was quite unusual to see a routine ad to be showcased in such a way. As I mentioned, I was scrolling through Instagram where I saw this boosted ad. And which led me to the Instagram page. And I quite scrolled for like 10-15 minutes to understand how the brand has changed the perception about the protein intake. The ad was quite interesting because I usually scroll past the ads whenever I scroll through Instagram. But this ad made me stop, come back and think what they were presenting. And I feel the way they have presented protein through ads, it is gonna revolutionize the way people perceive about protein intake in India. The ad was interesting in a way because the ad directly and clearly targeted the legacy brands which put in artificial flavors, metals and all other nonsense in their protein. Which is why Indians perceive it as not safe consumption of protein powders.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

So, I am a huge social media freak who uses Instagram, Facebook and other platforms almost throughout the whole day whenever I get my leisure time. It is bad and kind of depressing since the series of events that are taking place throughout the entire world. Until recently, I got to know about the New York mayoral election and one of the candidates was Zoran Mamdani, an African-Indian born American citizen who was running for the election and I was mesmerized by his integrity and the amount of honesty and fidelity he was showcasing throughout his campaign. I am not someone who was massively into geopolitical issues and I am certainly not gonna say that I am someone who supports this particular party or follow this agenda but now I am more interested to be aware of these things because they ultimately shape our world and it is extremely important to choose the right candidate for your area and Zoran is someone who literally showcased the world that if you have integrity then it doesn't matter whether you have that amount of money or experience to get to a broader amount of audience.

I have a friend called Karan. He was in his second semester when he asked me for help for his project work. It was about robots and other things which can be demonstrated in front of the judges and explained. He asked me to suggest some of these robot things which can be done and presented to the judges. In search of that I found that in China there is a hotel where a machine delivers the food instead of humans. I was so surprised and felt amazing and I started to browse that on Google about how it works, how does it take the collection and how does it know about the delivery person etc. I felt it was very interesting that without any human power the machines can do the work nowadays. I also want India to develop and bring that machine here also. Even though it affects the employment but it is a very interesting thing in the internet I saw earlier. Before that I didn't find anything most amazing.

The video that I remember the most was seen first during covid in the year 2020 when majority of the population was forced to be indoors so the online stats went way above and the most memorable video of the time is when a zoo in Iran couldn't feed their tigers anymore and the picture of a very malnourished tiger went viral overnight and the people on social media took it upon themselves to raise enough funds so that these zoos could keep feeding the wildlife that they harbour which is a great example of how tech and media has revolutionised since 2020 because of the extreme regulations and restrictions when it comes to staying indoors which also now raises the question whether the wildlife that we started seeing in the urban areas around 2020 was always there or it just started appearing because humans were forced to be indoors and abandon the concrete jungle. As a matter of fact since 2020 a lot of these questions have been raised whether the education system that we have right now is correct or not or whether we are just too far traditional and whether we should incorporate more tech savvy methods of studying or whether we should go back to the traditional ways and in a lot of ways 2020 has been an eye-opening era for social media as a whole.

One of the most interesting things I recently came across on social media was a short document style video about a group of villagers in India who built an entire school from plastic bottles. I saw it on Instagram about two months ago while I was scrolling through Reels. The video showed how people in a small rural community collected plastic waste from the surroundings and used it creatively to construct classrooms for children. It was fascinating because they turned a major environmental problem into something you know very sustainable and extremely helpful. This video also featured interview with local students who said they are proud to study in a building who they helped to build. What made it truly inspiring for me was how it was demonstrated that innovation doesn't always require big budgets or modern technology. Sometimes all it takes is little teamwork and hard work. It reminded me that social media, when used wisely, can spread positive ideas and motivation to take action in their own communities and when I saw the comment section, I saw people helping them with the money to bring more and more schools and help the children to study in a very positive way and I think that is a very nice use of a technology.

So it quietly intrigued an interest in that and I listened to the whole reel which has explained that if you change your bloodlines there is a tremendous possibility of reducing DNA distortion in your bloodline. So the reel was by a girl who happens to be an expert in psychology and she watch she creates a lot of content around psychology, politics or religion.
