When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Hello everyone, so I believe that a phone is the invention or I believe that phone is the gadget that has changed the world in so many different ways. Firstly, it has made communication way easier for us. Now I can just write a message to anyone across the world and they would receive it in split seconds. While the invention of the wheel, the electric bulb, the telephone, the computer are some of the engineering marvels that have affected human lives. In the present situation I think without internet most of the things we would become critical. So I think the invention of internet is highly critical for our lives. The invention of internet cannot be attributed to an individual, it's the origin rooted in USA in 1950s with the cold war at its height, the USA realized the need for a communication system that could give them an upper hand. Computers are useful at that time but were not as sophisticated as we see them. The scientists needed a system that could help them communicate over longer distances. Gradually a number of scientists and engineers came up with an effort in technologies named the ARPANET. Finally, the computer scientists Milton Shurk and Bob Kahn are credited for inventing the internet communication protocols that we use almost every minute of our lives.

    Band 6-7

I think one invention that has really changed the world in a positive way is mobile phones. Mobile phones is something that has helped to connect people across the world. I have a cousin sister who stays in America and one way we are able to stay in contact and talk as frequently as we would like to is because of mobile phones. If mobile phones didn't exist then I think we would have to still depend on letters which I think would take months and weeks. So I think that is a very big benefit of having a mobile phone. Secondly, I would say that mobile phones are quite affordable as compared to laptops and computers. You can easily get a good quality mobile phone within the price range of somewhere about 15,000 to 25,000. That will last you up to 2 to 3 years which I think is a pretty good deal. Lastly, I would say that mobile phones are quite portable. They can be carried across countries, across cities and practically everywhere and anywhere which is really important because we can use our phones for everything and anything whether it is to find the correct direction or to just Google something online or to search something, to order food, to book your ride home. So I think these are the reasons why the invention of mobile phone is one of the best inventions so far. Personally, I am kind of addicted to my mobile phone and that is the first thing that I see. I scroll my phone first thing in the morning. I think that is like a guilty pleasure of mine. I remember this one time I had to submit an assignment.

    Band 6-7

The invention that has changed the world in a positive way would be a telephone. Telephone is the most important gadget every person holds. Despite being the age difference of younger generation or the older generation, everyone has it and makes the world a better way. Carrying the cell phone makes it easier to connect with your loved ones and let them know what are the things you have been doing and it also makes you feel secure and safe knowing that you can reach out to someone for help when in case of emergencies. These days mobiles have been moderately changing its functionalities to grow in a much bigger pace like having apps to deliver you food and having commute services that can help you reach from one place to your destination within a minutes span. Also the mobile in everyday life has been a part in organizing your everyday activities and storing your memories such as click of photos, videos of your favorite things and favorite people. It's most one of the best invention that has ever been across human. Thank you.

    Band 6-7

I think an invention that has changed the world in a positive way is mobile phone or cell phone. So this can be used by anyone, be it young people or old people. When pandemic happened and all the schools were shut down, children were able to attend the schools by attending video sessions through mobile phones. Nowadays, when people are stuck with some difficulties, they completely rely on cell phone as they can be used to search any kind of issues that they are facing. And if someone wants to connect to a person for some emergency, the cell phone can be used to call them up. So this invention has really impacted the world perspective in a positive way.

    Band 6-7

Invention which I think is pretty important in today's world and that has changed the world in a positive way is basically mobile because after the mobiles are invented people have utilized their time more fruitfully. Leaving behind previously calling other people who are not nearby or you may say who never used to live in the vicinity, calling them was really a big task. I mean if a person is living abroad you cannot call him without paying a lot of amount. After the invention of mobile phones and internet technology now these calls can be made even free and so this is you can say like it has brought the world near. The other benefit of this mobile phone and modern new technology which is internet is that people during pandemic could attend the classes online which was nearly impossible because for one year everything shut off but because of the mobile and internet technology everyone could smoothly work around and do their work and earn money. It is really important for elderly people because after the invention of it now they need not to feel lonely anymore. They have their network online. They can participate in discussion forums and just share their views with them. So it makes more sense now rather than sitting at home alone and thinking about negative things.

    Band 6-7

A scientific invention that has drastically changed everyone's life, I would say, is a mobile phone. It is an electronic device that basically does everything for you. It has an alarm clock, you can call people, it can store your notes, or anything that you chat with people, or anything that you require. I think it has significantly impacted people's lives with what things it has to offer. It is used by any individual, from older people, to young people, to even child nowadays. There are online classes, or any activities that can be attended online, there are even that are organized on online platforms. I think it is like oxygen to people, and it basically devolves around people, or maybe you can say, people around the mobile phone nowadays. I think, in my opinion, it has a lot of benefits, but it is also very addicting at the same time, because children nowadays use phones, hell, they can use it for 7-8 hours, and they are not studying, but using just scrolling reels and everything. I think there should be a time limit for everything, like excess of everything can be bad for people. So that's just my point.

    Band 6-7

Despite having lots of negative impression of mobile phones in people's life now these days, it has many benefits as well such as people can easily use mobile phones, sorry I didn't mention mobile phones earlier So mobile phones are the only or may be the most used technical device which has changed the world a lot So I think it has many positive effects as well such as people can watch movies or cartoons or even series in their free time Other than that they can also make phone calls to each other For example if you are finding your known one so you can also find their location or can make phone call to that person just to get to know where he or she is at the moment In addition people also can learn many skills by using different types of applications or platforms on mobile phone such as there is a play store application which helps people to download some platforms to learn some skills For instance in today's world people are trying to learn different languages such as English, French, Spanish and some other languages which are spoken in the entire world So people love to download those platforms so that they can speak those languages easily and can just try to understand them by making phone calls

The most important invention that has changed the world in a positive way is internet. It almost shrunk the world and it impacted people's lives at the speed of internet. The impact has created more jobs and it spread education to masses, it connected people everywhere. Everywhere there is an existence of electricity. Irrespective of age, gender and creed, we were all able to communicate and it has really disrupted that the telecommunication that we had prior to internet got completely changed. I clearly remember how we used to struggle to talk to someone who is few kilometers away in another city or from a different state, however nowadays it is really easy to have face-to-face conversation across the continents. During covid times, if there was no internet, for at least two years, children would have been devoid of education and learning. Thanks to internet, we had online learning and people were able to work from home and earn their livelihood. I would say this is more important for young people to improve their literary abilities and for academics and for older people to know things which they haven't learned till now and to connect with their near and dear ones as well as people who are further away. So it is important for everyone. It's a vital thing just like water or oil.
