Describe A Sports Program You Like To Watch: IELTS Speaking Cue Card

My favorite sports program is Indian Premier League and I love it because it's coming from India. I love the way cricket flows through my blood. I watch it with my dad and I usually watch it. It streams at evening 8pm mostly. So the timing is perfect. During dinner or after dinner we can watch a match. Plus it is a shorter time period format. The thing is it's called 2020. So the match is short which creates more excitement to watch other than the regular cricket which takes double time.

A sports program which I like to watch is IPL which typically airs on Starsports Network. It is a program based on cricket where all players from different countries are merged into different countries. So it's a program in which players from different countries, especially cricket flying nations, they come to India and get divided into different teams, then they perform and there are at least 50 to 60 matches and after that playoff, final, all this stuff. I do watch it with my family, sometimes friends, but most of the time I do watch it alone and I enjoy it, thoroughly enjoy it. One thing I like about IPL is competitiveness and the spirit in which the players play well. This program always starts in the month of March and ends by the end of April and I like to watch it from my home and the reason I like it because I have grown up watching and playing cricket. This is the only sport I can play well and I know all the rules of cricket and also IPL is Indian Premier League, although different players from different countries, especially great players, they gather here, they perform, so it's quite amazing and I like it.

Ok, the sports program I like to watch the most is the football matches which are held. Especially recently the football world cup was held and Argentina won the match. It was so much thrilling to watch and it was all a nerve-breaking experience. I usually watch it with my younger brother who is also very fond of football and he also has a good name in the college where he also plays. What do I like about this game most is that the thrill it gives. You cannot predict what will happen the next second and the whole match can turn instantly within a few minutes or just a single goal can take the team to an elite level. So that's what makes it interesting to watch and as per my favorite player obviously it's Messi because I admire him the most and I also like his humble nature. I'm not comparing him with others but as we see Ronaldo he seems a bit aggressive but I don't think that's a fault. If you are playing a game you need to be aggressive to show the sportsmanship and I also think that's a good point. But for me especially I'll always admire Messi for his skills and for his nature.

My favorite sports program is FIFA. It is an international football tournament that happens every four years. I really like to watch it with my parents. Since football is a European sport, the major matches occur at night according to IST, which is Indian Standard Time. I have to stay awake late to watch the matches. I really like football because it is a very enthusiastic game. I really find it thrilling to watch 22 players hovering over a single ball in the playground just to make goals. It is a very short game of 45 minutes. It does not hamper my other activities like studying and doing my work related things. It also gives me joy of watching a sport. I really like football. One of my favorite people is Cristiano Ronaldo. He is a very famous footballer. I really like watching him play.

Since my childhood days, I have been very fond of watching cricket and playing cricket in life. And watching cricket on television was my favorite thing to do after school or after heck of exams. I inculcated this hobby in childhood and it's still with me till today. Me including my sister and my father used to watch cricket matches all together. The one turning point which made me watch all the cricket matches was the World Cup 2012. I was really fascinated about the game and the pace it took off. Virat Kohli is my forever favorite player till today. Furthermore, MS Dhoni, KL Rahul, Devdutt Padikkal are also my favorite ones. We had a huge 96-inch television at our place and we loved watching everything including cricket and other games on the television.

I definitely like watching cricket with my family often in the evenings and I love watching cricket better than any other sports or of all other sports because first of all I have I have grown up playing the same sport, second my father has a background in cricket, third it's national sports in our country India. I like watching cricket because it's very engaging, I love the thrill the enthusiasm with which the players play and it's highly entertaining. Moreover I like having detailed discussions over the game because it provides us a lot of opportunities to have such fun discussions. Furthermore cricket is a very engaging game, it is very entertaining and moreover it's a very simple game to comprehend. There are no technical or very detailed underlying rules and regulations in the said game so it's very easy to grasp and anyone be it a child or an older person can easily understand the game. Moreover there is continuity in the game. All the teams show a lot of zeal and enthusiasm while playing it so that's what engages me and keeps me connected to the game and thrilling.

The sport program I love to watch is cricket. Cricket is something not just a sport for me, it is personally connected with me. My dad and I used to sit and watch matches late at night, early in the mornings. He actually passed when I was in my 12th grade. But even after that I didn't stop watching cricket. So whenever I watch cricket I feel like he is with me, I can feel his presence. So cricket is not just a sport, it is like very personal, it's very personal for me. Especially IPL and during this World Cup matches and recently India won a World Cup. Those moments I miss my dad. So it is like very emotional for me and my favorite cricketer is Dhoni and Virat Kohli. So is my dad.

Now is the month of IPL. IPL means Indian Premier League. It's a cricket program. It's happened in the month of April to May. From 2 months it's a busy schedule for me to watch cricket. The IPL starts evening at 3.30 and night at 7.30. From the post itself I used to watch the whole process of cricket. I used to watch with my father and brother. We three had different favourite teams. My mother used to don't watch cricket. When the cricket starts she goes to sleep. I like cricket a lot from the period of Sachin. After the retirement of Sachin I used to like Rohit Sharma. So I am a biggest fan of Mumbai Indians from a long period. I used to see every match of Mumbai Indians. Mumbai is my favourite team. IPL is an enjoyment fantasy league having more than 7 teams. It's a fantasy game.

well there are numerous types of sports program like one of the famous in India is cricket, badminton, watching race, sports honestly I'm not into sports when it comes to sport I am I will prefer I would prefer bit indoor games rather than of outdoors and thus for that reason I don't even watch sports exam sports so competition and all but yes my family loves to watch it so whenever there is a cricket program between India, Pakistan or Australia or any other countries I prefer to sit with them though I don't understand what is going on they would prefer to watch watch cricket or competition with popcorn and or even while having food but they are more focused on watching it rather than eating food and I am usually on my couch sitting and understanding what is actually going on so yeah it's fun to watch when you don't understand anything so if they are reacting on oh wow the score is well so even I also react the score is well and if the score is not even I act like I'm understanding anything and being sad well it depends on personal choice to watch it or not since from childhood I have been much active in my extracurriculars apart from sport because I find it exhausting to have a competition between something that I'm really not interested in it's about my personal choice

in India cricket is very famous and I also like to and I do also like to watch cricket as a sport program in my TV I usually watch in my TV but whenever I get chance to go to the stadium or the stadium is near to me I grab a ticket and have a watch of cricket at the stadium whenever I go to stadium that is a really an amazing experience to have it once last month we went to watch a Indian Premier League match it was between Gujarat and CSK Chennai Super Kings Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings that match was really interesting and it was an amazing experience to have that but when I saw and the prizes of the drinks at the stadium and it was very very much high I would recommend you to have some water and food before you go to see a match but as we know we exhaust at the time of watching the match so we need to have something to eat right but yet I love to watch cricket as Mahendra Singh Dhoni our former captain of India of team India plays a really well shot and I was supporting Chennai Super King
