We are a small family of four. It's just me, my mom, my dad and my younger brother. My mom and dad, they met 30 years ago in college and they've been together ever since. And I'm now 24, so they had me after a few years and my brother is around seven or eight years younger to me. My father is a self-employed businessman. He runs multiple digital marketing agencies. He also acts as a consultant for a lot of new start-ups as well as new agencies that want to come into the foray of digital marketing. He's been doing this for around 20 or 25 years, so he's really, really, he's really very experienced and is highly regarded in the market as well. My mother, on the other hand, she works with an organization known as ICICI Lombard. ICICI Lombard works in general insurance, offering motor insurance, health insurance and travel insurance, things like that. She also has been working in this industry for the past 30 years or something. And currently, she holds the position of our senior vice president. And I would like to say she is very successful at what she does. I mean, I've seen her work a lot of days. She is working from home, so I see her on calls and I learn a lot from her considering that I personally also work in an operation setting where she works. So I get to learn a lot from just looking at her, the way she leads her people. My younger brother, on the other hand, he's currently in college. He's just passed his 12th grade examinations. He's also looking to get into commerce itself. I mean, he currently is giving his entrance exams, looking to get into some of the top colleges in the country. To be honest, me and my younger brother, we don't really get along much, but I mean, that's just something of a generation gap considering we have a seven-year age gap between us. Whereas my parents, they've always tried to push us and I absolutely love my family for who they are.

My family consists of every type of person you might encounter in this world. For example, everyone has those specific type of traits which you won't find in another person. But his traits will be unique in his own way. For example, we are a family of four. My sister, my dad and my mother. My mother is kind of a dominating person. She hates when something does not go according to her plan. Although, sometimes she is wrong. But the sense of superiority drives her so much and we have adapted to her behavior. After that, my dad. My dad is kind of a chill, low-key guy. He only wants to work, come home, watch some YouTube, shorts, comedy movies and chill. He is totally opposite to my mother's behavior. Then there is my sister. She is kind of a hyperactive girl. She loves to go out, she loves to do things which I would never think she would do. Last Sunday, she was doing a push-up and I never expected push-ups from her. Because she is that type of girl who is always working out. She used to perform more of chilling activities or laid-back activities like singing a song, drawing something. But doing push-ups seems a very surprising thing to me. And then there is me. I am kind of a mixture of both calm as well as aggressive.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

So, I come from a joint family, with my father having two siblings, my two uncles, both of my uncles have two children, so cumulatively we are six cousins. I have another sibling, my younger sister, and my younger uncle has two children, a son and a daughter, both are younger than me. The family that I live in always supports us in everything, we eat together, we even play games together, we have separate bedrooms, yet we have a similar kitchen, the same kitchen we live in, we eat in, they always support us in every situation, apart from this I would like to say that.

    Band 6

Family is something that is really close to everyone's heart and so is my family. They are my go-to people, my comfort place and a place that I'm not judged. I can discuss everything over there. I have a nuclear family, so we are four members in the family. My mother, my father and I have a younger brother and me. We live in a house. We live in harmony, but we are a kiosk. Everyone's family is a kiosk, but we are a kiosk. We have problems and everything, and we solve them together. It's not like we get bored of each other. These days, people get bored of people, but family is something you can never get tired of. I love my family. I love my parents. I love my younger brother. My father works as a private employer in a company. My mother is a homemaker. My younger brother is in 10th standard. He's very naughty. I found my parents to be the perfect couple in this world. My father being very sordid, my mother being very chaotic. That is something that I found best in my family.

    Band 6

In my family, we are seven members, out of which two are my small brothers, my younger brothers, my mom, my dad, and my grandfather and my grandmother. We usually live happily with each other, but sometimes that's not possible because some differences are there to be in a family. My dad is a ticket inspector in Northern Railways. My mom is a housemaker. My grandfather is a retired principal. My grandmother is a retired teacher. My youngest brother studies in fifth class, and my older brother and the middle brother, he is a special child. He has cerebral palsy, so he goes to a special school. My family members have been really great throughout my childhood, and they support me and help me whenever I need them. They are always there when I need them.

    Band 6

Actually, my family is not a larger one. It's an immediate family, along with my mom, my brother, and my grandfather and myself. It is a small and sweet family where we used to spend most of the time together. My mom has been working as a nurse for the past 30 years in our hometown. My brother has completed his bachelor's degree in engineering and is currently seeking a job. My grandfather is an old person, so he spends most of his time reading newspapers, novels, and chatting with our neighbors. I am the last one. I had completed my bachelor's degree in paramedical. I am now currently seeking for doing my master's in Harvard and taking the IELTS preparation class. Even though my family is small, there is no argument raised between us. When was the last time we had an argument, but it was totally compromised within a few hours. My mom and myself used to cook most of the time, where my brother helped me with little. Moreover, there is a lot of family time there for us to spend together. We are doing great.
