I find myself lucky enough to have met the current Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. When he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, he had visited our school for the annual function. He particularly picked out a group of girls to have a conversation. I was privileged enough to be a part of it. His recent visits to Vantara also showcase his deep affection for animals. He not only ensures that he empowers women with all the privileges, but also makes sure that he raises a social concern regarding the same. Since he is now a figure of matter to everybody across the globe, he has transformed India into a world-class economy. I once met a Deputy Collector of Sikkim. When I was travelling from Sikkim back to my home for vacation, he was actually a person from Tamil Nadu, where I belong. We both speak the same language, but Sikkim is in the north-eastern part of India, where they speak a very different language. He was a very inspiring person. He had no idea about the local language in that place where he was working. Even after that, he tended to contribute a lot of things to his work. As a government employee, he has faced a lot of struggles and he explained a few of them as an example during our journey. I really wanted to follow him up and wanted to know more about the work style. It was also very sad to know that a government official who plays a very major role in the society had to stay far away from his family and had to tackle a different problem.

Language plays a crucial role in government work as it affects communication with locals. The Deputy Collector's struggle highlights the importance of understanding local culture and language to effectively serve the community and build trust.

What challenges do you think government officials face in remote areas?

In Jan 2025, my company interested me and my colleague to go on a business trip on behalf of the company and to represent our services. When I went there and met the founder of the company that we were looking to consult, I met with Mr. Abhishek Agarwal, who is the founder of Subash Taharis. He is an exceptional man and the two days that we and my colleague got to spend in their facilities and learn from them were truly unmatched. We understood how he runs his business and what are the factors that he incorporates in converting his business into a successful one. If I had the chance to meet him again, I would want to understand how his journey was because he is a self-entrepreneur who started from nothing and he has built himself an empire. I would also like to understand how he invests in businesses, what factors does he evaluate while considering an investment and how does he understand which business or service has a USP that it offers to the public. Through the next conversation that I could possibly have, I would also like to understand how does he face his challenges and solves them in day-to-day life with his company and how he overcomes them and helps the company grow. His company has seen immense growth in the last 20 years from being 1 crore revenue yearly to 4,000 crores revenue and this journey has been truly life-changing and for me to experience such journey in first-hand has created an impact in my brain that I cannot forget. So if I had the opportunity to meet with him again, I would like to understand his journey, his way of investment and his ideology of work.

When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Apart from that, she is a topper at her class. I was just mesmerized of how much of determination this girl has. She is just a year elder to me. I've met many persons in my life, but one person has made me think about this so much. Today I'm going to speak about that person. When I was giving my IELTS exam in late November last year, I met this person in a speaking practice session. Many members were there along with him, but he was just before me to give his speaking test. We were having casual chat and he seemed to be quite reserved to himself. But I like his speaking ability and all. He's a tough nut to crack and I don't know what to ask him. But I'm really enthusiastic to know about him because he happened to be a doctor like me, same as me. And I wanted to have more communication about the pathway that he was going to choose, because it might help me also. To my coincidence, he also chose the same pathway as me. And he's a step ahead of me. I've completed all the exams and all. Before going for the registration, he had to complete the IELTS exam before going any further. So I wanted to know about the process and all. It would be great to have communication regarding a person in your hometown when you're going abroad. So all this might help me get more contact with him. I would like to know more about the study materials he used and the way he studied to achieve his desired scope. That would help me a lot.

The person I met once or twice, but I actually wanted to meet more and know about him as my director of the current project I am working in, his name is Syed Javed. We actually met on a team dinner and had a brief talk about our projects. He interacted with all of us as a group, but individually I have got only very little span of time to talk about his interests, about the project and our future upbringings of what can be accomplished in the future quarters. One thing that really excited me about the talk that with the group and with the interaction which I had with him is that it is extremely, his ideologies are extremely different, very important, significant for the growth of the project because when we as a project, as a whole team have different ideologies, there is one person to deal with all the ideologies, equalize them, analyze more into that and come up with a solution where it is going to benefit the entire team. The ideas he said is exactly matching all of us and all of our ideas. He executed it in such a way and he showcased it in such a way while he was talking that made us feel like yes, this idea was actually brought up by me and my team collectively. And I think that is one of the most exciting thing. I felt like yes, I should know him better to understand what more can he provide on the benefit, future benefit of the team. Another interesting fact is he is staying in New York and I actually want to know how the life in New York would be for an Indian because he has migrated there around 20 years back.

I had met a person while I was travelling from Bangalore, where I was working, to my hometown in Kerala. I met this person called Vinod and he was working in Active. It is a technical company in Bangalore, which is related to my field, automotive. So I met him on train and I started to talk with him. We were talking on different topics including culture, how he has raised his kids in Bangalore, how he used to travel a lot while working in Bangalore, and how he visited his home weekly, twice, and all sort of things he talked to me. Once travelling from Bangalore, where I was working, to my hometown in Kerala, I had got a chance to meet a person named Vinod. He was working in Active Technical Centre in Bangalore. He was a technical lead there and he was also travelling to Trissur, which is a place in Kerala, near to my hometown. I met him accidentally in train, but he was one of the person who gave me several ideas, several insights on work culture, the technical expertise he is having, how to work, how to ask your lead about the increment, how to make them feel proud of you, how to make them feel that you are working. Even if you are working, he gave me an example, like even if you are working, you won't be telling your manager that you have worked this much time. He gave me an idea how to tell them that you have done this type of work, how to make them believe, how to make them see your work, all kind of things he has told me. He also gave me an insight about the cultural knowledge that he is passing to his children, how he is managing to travel from Bangalore to Kerala twice a week to see his children, to teach his children about the cultural values he is having, and also how to manage the time between family and work. Since he is a technical lead, he is having a high amount of work pressure, but he is managing that pressure and also he is managing to have a happy life with his family, happy and peaceful life with his family.

So that person's name is Ranak and then the first time we talked we just stared at each other you know and then we just started talking about random topics like cars, apartments, about our families and everything and then it was a very interesting conversation like I've never had that kind of conversation with anyone before and it was very interesting to be honest. To talk about him more, he was wearing this crazy dark blue shirt which actually suited him because he's pretty pale, I mean white and he obviously looked good and then we met at a coffee shop. It was quite cute and romantic and I'd love to meet him again because you know the conversation we had is very unique. There was some personal stuff but yeah so this guy is totally cool and so honest and I would love to know about him. I'd like to get into a good college that's what we've been talking about. We talked about colleges, how people are and how people shouldn't be because you know we have bad experience and I'd love to meet him again yeah so that's why.
