When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

He is Sir Raghuram G. Rajan who is a popular former governor of RBI. I met with him 5 years ago in 25th December when he visited in Kolkata RBI. One of my teacher offered me to meet with him and I was really glad that I get a chance to shake a hand with him. He is really nice person but due to rush position I could not talk much with him. But whenever I got a chance in future to talk with him, I do not try to miss this opportunity. Because he is very good for economics. He has so much knowledge about economic literature. So whenever I get a chance as a geographical student, I prefer to get knowledge about economics and about the future of economy from him. And also his speech is very motivational. I heard his speech in a stage or in a concert when he talked about our financial system in India. And I thought it is true that whatever he said in the meeting about our financial system that is going right now and it is really inspired me.

A person I only met once was a girl and we met in a state-level badminton meet. For the first time when I saw her, my initial response was, wow, she looked so cool. She had a bandana on her head and a boy cut and a very cool persona. She was holding a racket and she seemed like the most chill person in a room full of people who were nervous about the competition. My first match was against her and I lost miserably because she was a national-level player and her coach was there. She was not tense, she was not nervous and she had the aura of a person who knew they were going to win. After her match, she shook my hand and told me, not bad. And that was one of the biggest compliments I've received till date. She helped me, even though we only met once, I felt like I'm not that bad of a badminton player because of one single compliment she gave me. I really wish that we could speak more and maybe exchange our information so that we can stay in touch, but unfortunately, we could not. She went on to win the tournament and took the trophy home and till date, I think she is one of the coolest and the mysterious person we met. Thank you.

This had happened when my dad and I went grocery shopping. I met this guy who looked to be my age. He was reaching out in the yogurt section in the top shelf for honeyed Greek yogurt. I don't know why I remember this detail, but it was honeyed Greek yogurt. An old woman had approached him. He looked at her and asked her questions. It was clear they were from different backgrounds. She didn't understand what he was trying to communicate to her. He pulled out the Google Translate app. He was trying to be as patient as possible. He slowly understood what this woman was trying to say to her. She was speaking in Hindi and he was more of an Arabic speaker from the look of it. He finally understood that she was asking for directions because she had lost her way. He wasn't exactly familiar with her environment. He kept back the honeyed Greek yogurt and held her hand because she was having difficulty walking. He then led her to her wheelchair. Even though the communication was extremely difficult between them, he ended up helping her to find her way back to her family. I would love to spend more time with them and understand. This was a very kind moment. I don't think he realized anybody was watching. It was clear that he was...

The one person whom I want to meet one time, the one person whom I have met is Milka Singh. Milka Singh is also known as a flying Sikh of India. Not only he is the fastest sprinter of India, but also he has represented India in national and international Olympics. I remember last year when I was in my college in second year, so Milka Singh came for a webinar in our college. He gave us lecture about practice and hard work can lead to success. I have known Milka Singh due to movies and documentaries as Milka Singh had a hardship in his childhood because of the India-Pakistan partition. But he didn't let his past decide his future. However, Milka Singh's journey was far from a piece of cake as he has lost his family during partition but still able to focus and manage his career. The one thing I want to ask him was to know that how he managed to manage his all challenges and turn them into success. Moreover, how he has been consistent with his training and practice because such consistency are very hard to see these days. Apart from that, I also learned...

When I was a 5th grader I had met a boy named Jake and I was very drawn to him back then because he was my only friend in a group of people that always bullied me and belittled me for something that I could not control. He was the only person kind enough to sit beside me and to study with me. Although I did meet him for only one time in my entire life I would definitely love to meet up with him again and get to know more about him. He was an interesting boy, he never involved himself in any type of conflict. He always watched from the sidelines if anybody ever fought in the classroom. He never got into any trouble, he was very kind to me and to his friends. He didn't have that many friends but he was kind to everyone around him. That's all I remember about him and I want to know more about him, I want to know where he is in life. We met at the middle school that I was studying in. His behaviour towards me and his kindness has impacted me in a way that I never thought it would and I only realised it since the past few years. So I want to meet him again and I want to let him know that his kindness was something that was a treasure to me that I did not even know it was. I'm grateful for his presence, his friendship and I only hope that he's doing better wherever he is in his life.

I have seen many people over the years but remarkably I would like to speak about a person that I met in a jogger's park. His name is Mr. Seluga. I like him for many reasons but considering few aspects that I remember, we had a chat only for half an hour and he has demonstrated his extensive knowledge on variety of subjects, especially on science, economics, countries, particularly India's politics and in addition to that he again has a very good personality. He regularly practice yoga and he regularly visits gym. He was a perfectly fit man even at the age of 65. I really admire his hard work and his ability to convince people and motivate people for higher studies and again for promoting sports activity. He has encouraged me and motivated me to get up early in the morning and from that day I start getting up early in the morning. For this he asked me several questions related to the my routine activities, my profession and practices and then he has guided me to go through this particular channel which will really help me. I have worked extensively on his suggestions and particularly managing my routine work and indeed thanks to this person I got very good results from this.

I'm a person who always love to make new friends. Here I would like to talk about a person that I only met once and eager to know more about her. Her name is Sakshi. I met her during a train ride to my hometown. I was studying my college at Mangalore which is an 8 hours ride from my home. So in my weekends I always travel to my hometown. One day I was travelling back to my home. I had no charge in my phone and I was bored and sitting in the train. Then I see Sakshi. She was playing in her phone. So I want to know the time and I asked the time to her. After that it is easy for me to start a conversation with her. By talking I could know that she shares a similar aesthetic as of me. We become really close and we share similar experiences. She is also from the same background as of me. At that time I was also doing a part time job. It was my Saturdays and it was a little hectic for me to manage those schedules of working and studying. She gave me some trips which was very useful for me at that time. After sometime I took a nap and after that I reached my station and I never see Sakshi again.

My professor Dr. Chitranjan Anjade is somebody who has left a significant impact on me. I have only met this person once, but since then I have been in awe of him. I always wanted to meet him. I have known about him from my friends, from different articles, research papers, and it got me thinking, how can somebody be so amazing at writing papers? I somehow one day got the courage to email him. I emailed my professor, asking him if I could meet him regarding a personal problem which would need a psychiatrist evaluation, and then sir agreed. After this, I had to be present at exactly 8 am the next day to meet him. Not five minutes early, not five minutes late. I reached at his door at exactly 8 am, and then we started and get going. I think what motivated me to meet this person is how he is amazing at so many things. One special mention that I would like to do here is how he had climbed Mount Everest at 70 years of age. So I would want to know his journey to go ahead with the same. I would want to know about what diet he follows, on what all exercise regimen he has followed, specifically at the age of 70. I have also heard that he doesn't walk downstairs, and he only walks upstairs. That's amazing, right? He takes lifts to go downstairs, because it's good for your knees. And going down is very bad for your knees. Another thing, additionally, I feel he's also somebody who is very disciplined and strict about what he eats. He has described to me his diet. He eats one banana a day, half in the morning, half in the afternoon.
