Many people have their role models who help them to achieve a good lifestyle. Similarly, my role model is Mahatma Gandhi who motivates me to do the good for the public. Mahatma Gandhi has been the strong voice during the Indian freedom movement. He is the person who is responsible to unite India in the freedom struggle against the British rule. However, the attempts were made previously as well but none of it worked the way it has worked after the advent of Gandhi in the movement. He has taught the lesson of Ahimsa means non-violence to the world and he had proven that the path of Ahimsa leads you to a fruitful result. This is what I have learnt from his statements that Ahimsa is the path that can solve problem, many challenges that people may have through the non-violence. It also helps me to remain calm and composite in the tense situations. I cannot see any other figure as tall as Mahatma Gandhi. He has been the person of his principle and he lived up to it.

Mahatma Gandhi has greatly influenced my personal values by instilling in me the importance of non-violence and integrity. His teachings encourage me to approach conflicts with calmness and to seek peaceful resolutions, which I strive to apply in my daily life and interactions with others.

Can you share an example of how you apply Gandhi's teachings in your life?
One example of applying Gandhi's teachings is during disagreements with friends or family. Instead of reacting with anger, I try to listen and understand their perspective, promoting a peaceful dialogue. This approach often leads to better understanding and resolution of conflicts.

Are there other figures who inspire you besides Gandhi?
Yes, besides Gandhi, I find inspiration in figures like Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King Jr. Their commitment to justice and equality, along with their non-violent approaches, resonate with me and motivate me to advocate for positive change in my community.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

By the end of the call, I used to get a lot of motivation from her and I used to get a feeling like now I can do anything in this world. So, she is the best motivator for me.

    Band 6

The person who motivates me to do better in my life is my mother. My mother is one of the strongest woman I have met in my entire life. So she had to go through so many difficulties during her childhood, during her school days and even after marriage also. We were having financial issues, we were struggling to make ends. So the only one person who wants me to be happy or I want her to be happy is my mother. In some years I love to give her, I love to provide her all the things that she has missed in her life. She supports me very well. She always tells me that I have to find a very good job and I have to be financially independent so that I will be able to provide for her. Then I won't have to request money to any other people. My parents were able to provide me good education but we were financially struggling. I have to be financially independent and I have to be rich as well. That is one of the goal I have.

    Band 6

My parents, my mother and father motivates me most by giving life examples. They always help me to do more. Then I feel unsuccessful, they give motivation to do it again and give more efforts and get more success next time. My mother and father always give positive thinking. Whenever I feel down, I get motivated from my parents. They work hard for them. I get most motivation when I see my parents are working hard for me.

    Band 6

The person who motivates me the most in my life would definitely be my mother. She motivates me to study good, gain good marks and also to achieve the greatest goal in my life. That is because she did not have the access or the opportunity to pursue education. She had studied only until 10th. That made her realize about the educational value and then because of which she motivates me that the opportunity which is in my hand that should be used in a right way and to achieve whatever I wish to succeed in my life. Not only in that but also she motivates me to stay independent in life. So in her age, she is always dependent on my father for even small things such as grocery she is dependent on him but she believes that in future it should not be the state. Every person be that male or female, they should be independent in their life. They should not depend on anybody for anything that is required. That is why she feels I must succeed in my life. She is my biggest motivation.

    Band 6

Absolutely none other than anybody it is my best friend who is my alter ego who always comes first hand to give me any kind of motivation when I am down in my life. Firstly I can say the situation when I am perplexed about to take a new decision in my life to go ahead to reach any kind of destination my best friend comes first to give me her heart out to give a kind of advice. For example I could say when I have to take an examination in my college meanwhile my mom got sick so I was bit confused what I have to prioritize. At first in that moment she came forward to give me an advice I can take care of your mom you can take care of your examination which will place a step for your future. So that's the way she always comes first hand to give me any kind of input in my mind to move forward. One more incident I would like to add up which is I was bit confused in taking my life partner in which she gave a presence of mind of advice to go ahead and choose the person who I am prefer and really that is a life changing moment in my life.

    Band 6

So, when I was in 10, people usually asked me, what do you want to do in your life? Or what field you will choose in your 11th or 12th standard? And I always used to say commerce because in our society, humanities and arts were seen as very downgraded subjects. But as far as I can remember, it was my dream to pursue arts, dance as my subject and make a career out of it. But I didn't have the courage to do so. So my aunt, who is my mother's sister, Shweta, she motivated me to do what I wanted to do. She helped me get into college far from my home to life so that I can study better. She gave me the confidence to go abroad and study for what I want to do. She challenged me, she taught me so much and she motivates me so much because she always did what she wanted to do. She always listened to her heart. Our family has always been very conservative. But because of her, I am travelling a lot, I am studying art and I am honoured to choose art as my career.

    Band 6

The person who motivates me is always my mother because not from since my since from my childhood she has been very motivating in my studies where rather even I go for a cultural activities or even for the sports but my father was the one who actually only supported for studies not on any cultural activities or like leisure time activities like sports and the things like other things like gym and so much so even if I want to join for an a social clubs or an organization my dad wasn't leaving me and it was my mom actually who helped me bring and brought up me in a very good manner and also she helped me in perceiving my education in better colleges because whenever there is a conversation in the in the family of deciding about my studies or the further studies it was actually my mom who the one makes the decision and who selects the colleges for my better development in the future and also she was the one who will be looking over for looking over the everything so I think she actually she's the one reason because I'm making my masters and I thought of making her masters and she helped me in that way as even my father sometimes made me a disappointing stated that he don't need to fund at all for this because I was caught in a college for doing a miss activities so at the time my mom told I saved my money and I have my personal money so that I would provide you that and I will helpful in whatever the financial status you are going to face so these are
