So, the good friend of mine, his name is Divyanshu Dhami, but we love to call him just by surname. We put it as a nickname of his, so we call him Dhami. He's a very good guy with a great smile and he just takes everyone's attention towards him. I've met him about 3-4 years ago, I don't exactly remember the date. But at the first when I seen him, he was a very laughable guy. So, he makes the whole team laugh. He's the kind of joker in our team. Although he's not a very good player, he's not a very important player in the team. But wherever we go for a tournament, he's going with us for sure. Because without him, the team would be broken. There will be no one to just cheer the whole crowd. And he's one of my best friends. For some reasons, he always supported me. A good friend that I would like to describe today, who is very important to me and is extremely close to my heart and is almost my second self, is my best friend, Tithi. I have known her since childhood. Since we were in junior KG, I first met her on our first day of nursery, where we almost exchanged our handkerchiefs and then we had a fight about it. But after starting a fight from that day till today, it has been 20 years. We have been extremely tight, tightly bounded to each other and have a special place in each other's life. The place which I visited and I didn't know about their language was Leladakh, which is about 300 km away from my hometown and it is a very good place as it consists of different kind of trees, animals and have many scenic views and I visited over there last year in summers as it was the best time to visit because it has many, it was cold over there and we had summers in our area so it was the best time to visit over there and I went over there with my whole family.

    When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

    It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

    Aastha is my very dear friend. I met her at office and I would say before meeting with her, like I had many friends but I never knew what true friendships look like, what true friendships are. The first time I met her, it was our first day of office. We were sitting for the orientation program. She was sitting just beside me. I said hi to her. I asked her name, from which college she is from. But she didn't ask me anything. So I thought that maybe she doesn't want to talk to me. But next day, luckily, or I mean I don't know what to say, like fortunately or unfortunately, actually fortunately, we met at the college campus on the same ODC. We sat together because for three months, we were like training buddies. So we were having a training period. Initially, I was not close to her. But I knew that she's nice. She was shy. But once we had just started talking, oh my God, she's like, I've learned that what I've learned from her is that friendship is not about just chatting, calling, or you know, talking and making plans with your friends. She had initially transferred to my school where I have been since first grade and we met in sixth. And obviously I had no idea that that friendship would grow so much in the next few years to come. This person has been very close and very dear to me. Because he is the person whom I remember when I am happy, when I am sad, when I am in need, when there is something I wish to share, something good that has happened with me. So this person is definitely I would say my best friend. He has always been there for me. There have been multiple occasions where I have gotten into trouble. And the first instinct I had was to call upon this person. Because I knew no matter what the circumstances he would come and he would try to get me out of it. There was this one situation where I was going to get beat up by a bunch of people. And I called him up and he showed up. And he alone was standing against a group of 10-15 people for me. And I believe that is the most heartfelt memory that I have. Because in that moment I realized that even in such critical situations where he knows that even he will get beat up. He still stood up.
