Describe a polite person you met.: IELTS Speaking Cue Card

Okay, so talking about politeness, I would like to talk about my friend, okay, whom I met in my college. He's so polite that he never argues or never talks back on our word. He is so humble and polite that he listens, he gives ears to our words, he always listens to us, and he always a needful and a helpful hand for all the people who are required, who requires his help. And he's so polite and down-to-earth, and that's how I know him, and his name is John. So I would like to be a person like him, who is so polite and humble, where the people in this generation are so rude and ready to get angry for no reasons, and they are always soon to get angry, and they are not at all bothered or worried about what people say.

The most polite person I have ever met is my mother. Since my childhood I have never seen her scold at someone or talk to someone in a rude tone. She is a very intelligent person and she has always been there for me and she never used to talk to me in a rude tone and she always set by good example as they say that heaven lies beneath the feet of mother and in my case I totally agree with that. I mean everyone agrees with that but for especially for me I feel that is the case, that is the truth. And apart from I have also seen her deal with other people and she deals with them with the utmost care and respect. She never disrespects a person. She is very kind and soft-hearted person. All her colleagues and the people she know they always say good things about her and she actually inspires me to be a polite and soft-spoken and a kind person. I really like that thing about her. I think in today's world you won't meet many people who are that polite in nature but that is the case with my mother and I actually look up to her. Thank you.

A polite person that I would like to describe is Sanjana Mahesh. I have known her since 4th grade. She was in the same school as me which was Vidya Shilp Academy. I have always thought of her to be a very kind and understanding person as she always thought about other people. She was very selfless in her way of life. She was never selfish and she always tried to help people out no matter what the outcomes were. She would help us out with our homework, with studying and she was very polite when any of us would approach her. Even if a person was rude towards Sanjana, she was always polite to us and that was something that was very heart touching to me.

Here I would like to describe about a common person I have met ever. I met her when I was studying college. Basically I am a nursing student. That time I met her when I was doing my college. So I can still imagine the day when I met my friend. Her name is Priya. She is an amicable and affable person and as well as she is a down to earth person because her friendly nature, she makes everyone to be her friends. She helps everyone. For instance when I was seeing the first day, she was helping some elder people to do the groceries. So that character admired me because in this fast-pacing world everyone likes to spend their quality time with their family but instead of that she used to help the elderly people. I liked very much about her caring nature and in fact of that character we were just best friends when I was studying my undergraduate. I was a poor academic performer when I was studying. She helped me a lot when I was in the first year. She helped me in my academics. That is the reason I liked her so much. Still we are friends and forever I would say.

A few years back when I was preparing for my JEE, I took admission in Kota where I met the most polite person and most polite and humble person. His name was Pankit and he was a student in my class and also a hostel partner. So once we met, so I saw him and he was so humble while talking and he was so polite that he was willing to help me even on the first meet. After some time, we became very close friends and even his family started loving me. I would like to talk about my childhood friend Karam. He's now 19 year old. We had been together since we were child. We studied together from same primary school and secondary school. That's where our friendship begin. Karam is very polite because when I meet, met them, met her for the first time, she politely asked my name and when our friendship begin. I explained her, I used to reassure her that it is totally okay and you should be free and all. So when she would even offer help for her treatment, even though she is a patient, she offers so much and it is such a severe case.
