We were really blessed nine years ago when I blessed with a girl child, her name is Kaira. After a few years of her birth, we decided to put her in school. Over that time we were a little confused between CBSE board and ICSE board. After making lots of enquiries, research on Google, asking suggestions from friends, we were still confused between the boards. My husband wanted to put my daughter in CBSE board. I was a little sceptical about CBSE board as it is more creative when you want to study only in India for competitive examinations. But my preference was to put her in ICSE board as it will give her more practical knowledge and more exposure towards her future journey as my biggest dream is to send her abroad. So I really wanted to put her in ICSE board. So because of that, eventually I decided to put her in ICSE board. After putting her for six years in the school, she is really doing fantastic in her academics. Teachers always appreciate her whenever I attend PTM and over that time I really feel blessed. Also, she is very much into music. She loves hip-hop music a lot. In the ICSE curriculum in her school, there are separate classes for hip-hop music. So she gets to learn.

Follow up questions

What factors influenced your decision between CBSE and ICSE?
I considered various factors such as the curriculum, teaching style, and future opportunities for my daughter. I wanted her to have a well-rounded education that would prepare her for both competitive exams in India and potential studies abroad.

How has Kaira's experience in ICSE impacted her interests?
Kaira has thrived in the ICSE environment, which emphasizes practical knowledge. Her love for hip-hop music has flourished due to the specialized classes offered, allowing her to explore her passion while excelling academically.

What advice would you give to parents facing a similar decision?
I would advise parents to thoroughly research both boards, consider their child's interests and future goals, and seek opinions from other parents. Ultimately, it's important to choose a path that aligns with the child's strengths and aspirations.

The most important decision that I took in my life was choosing up the internship opportunity that NRSC ISRO provided me with. I took up this decision when I was studying in my third year of my college, where I got an excellent opportunity to do an internship project with National Remote Sensing Center of Indian Space Research and Organization. So this was made around by the time of August month of 2023 and it is still going on now as a project scientist where I got promoted from intern project trainee to project scientist. So I made out this from my mind, I should work for a government organization at any cost whatever it takes. So first initially you should apply using an email id with all the college documents that you are provided with. Although I was having an less CGPA compared to all others from the college, I was having around 8.5 and where college average was up to 8.7. And I applied for with my friends and my cousins. Initially first my cousin got an internship offer where I applied before her and I was actually little feeling bad during that time. Later the third day I got a call from ISRO telling that I have been appointed as a project scientist of internship and I have been working under Mr. Syed Shadab for past one year. And it has been a very perfect time for me to work under him where I got to know a lot about technologies and also about personal development. When I got about the job, I felt very overwhelmed and very happy because it was the first time in job opportunity battling between more than 1000 people and getting an opportunity where NRSC provides only internship for 40 persons in a year of a term for a college student. Out of those 40, I was the one who got selected under Mr. Syed Shadab for the particular academic year of 2023 to 2024, again being appointed under him for the year 2024 to 2025.

When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.
