The activity that I do regularly that helps me to work and study better is meditation. I used to try it daily for 15 to 20 minutes. I am doing this activity from last 2 to 3 months. It helped me a lot in order to overcome stress, anxiety and pressure. In the last 3-4 months when there was my campus placements going on, I used to face a lot of stress and burden on my head. That when will I get placed, when will I get my first dream job and many more. And in that stress I was not able to sleep properly in the nights. So my cousin recommended me to try this activity at least 15 to 20 minutes a day which helped me to reduce my stress, anxiety and pressure. When I started doing this activity, I felt very boredom. I felt distracted by every small moment near me. Like if some pen got dropped on the ground, I quickly felt distracted from this activity. But later on with time, when 15 to 20 days passed, I felt very relaxed doing this. And now from the last one month, I often started chanting mantras while doing the meditation which kept my mind relaxed and helped me to stay focused.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Being a Muslim, I pray five times a day, which are obligatory prayers for a Muslim, and it has helped me develop peace inside my mind. Praying five times a day keeps my mind at place and makes my mind peaceful whenever I pray. It gives me more focus when I work and gives me a better sleep. And better sleep also leads me to a better study plan. So basically, prayer has helped me. My Islamic prayers has helped me grow better in life and gives me peace. Something which I do regularly which helps to make me work better and study better is make regular remix of songs through the use of AI. Now I am a professional DJ so my main aim is to improve my collection and have some creative inputs in my music so that my crowd which are dancing in front of me can have a personalized experience. Since I have had a training in music production also so I regularly use latest trends in AI which is Artificial Intelligence which helps me to make cool mashups and remix of 3-4 songs combining elements of songs from one song and combining with other songs and come up with a mix of medley which is useful for me while I am playing live in front of a crowd. Another thing which helps me by doing this exercise regularly is to have my DJ playlist some variety like not playing normal radio version of the songs adding my twist to that adding some elements so that the crowd can have a better experience while dancing on the floor. That's it.

So meditation is the thing I do regularly that helps me to work and study better. So when I was in my 8th grade, my mother told me to do so because I was not able to perform well in my classes. Since then, after practicing meditation day by day in small interval of time, starting from 5 minutes going to 20 minutes, I feel myself more motivated in work, in study, I was able to concentrate more, understanding the things in a deeper level, not only in studies but also the world around me, I see it in a new way that I was not able to see earlier and whenever I do meditation, I feel very much relaxed, satisfied and it just cuts off me from the whole world and take me to the new inner place where there is no tension, no anxiety only I can feel myself and I have the chance to look around all the things in a different manner.

I was struggling with the... This happened to me while I was studying in my undergrad, during the exam time. And to be honest, even now when I am working, I used to feel really stressed out and frustrated. Then I happened to hear a podcast by a famous psychologist, where he had described about various breathing exercises and regular workouts, along with how to change the speed cycle accordingly to relieve the stress that is created during the study and work. At first, I didn't trust his words though. I was still confused and I would spend hours studying. Then I decided to follow his words, follow the sleep pattern and also the exercises that he had suggested. The exercises were quite simple and to be honest, within two days, I found them very effective. I could breathe freely, I was relieved. The immense pressure that I had of the exams tends to have loosened up. My muscles felt relaxed, my mind was peaceful and I could concentrate more on my studies. Even now, when my work gets hectic, I would use the same technique to relieve the building pressure inside me. I have started recommending this to all of my friends who feel the same frustrations when it comes to studies or work. The words of that psychologist really changed my life and my perspective towards the pressure during the study and work.

    Band 6

The one thing that I do every time when I start studying is to plan the targets. Also, like, if I achieve the target which I am doing or studying, for example, the chapter that I choose or the difficult topic, I used to set a target and after I complete the target, I usually have a gift or reward for it and I enjoy it thoroughly. I take 5 to 10 minutes of break, maybe a short nap or a snack time and then continue my reading. So, this has helped both mentally and brought me awesome results. So, this is the one thing that I always follow. It's been around more than 5 years from now. So, I would seriously recommend everyone to try this to get positive results.
