But after 20 seconds, I felt the nature, how it was looking good. I also felt the nature for the first time like that. At that time, I was not vain, I know. But the experience was brilliant. So, recently I along with my four friends went on a trip to Pondicherry which is a Union Territory located in India. Pondicherry is a place with serine beaches and crystal clear sands along the shore of the beaches. While walking on the shore of the beaches, we can see many children, pets as well as adults playing with sand on the border of the beach. This gives us a positive impression and positive vibes while we see them. The main activity which we all did was scuba diving. It was hell of an activity because we had so much fun in that. It was our first time doing the activity which brought a thrill to our souls. Moreover we did other activities like surfing on the beach and we also kept a little task to ourselves to build a big castle. We were divided into a group of two and three and we started working on our castles. I along with my two friends won. So basically our castle consisted of a door and two bedrooms. And the winner of the game will get a treat from the loser. That was the bet. And as we won that night we had huge fun and of course the dining was great as it was completely free for us.

The air was fresh and cool, and the scenery looked like something straight out of a postcard. During my stay, I went paragliding in Solang valley, which was one of the exciting outdoor activities I have ever done. As I soared high above the valley, I could see the entire landscape, the green meadows, winding roads, and tiny houses below. It felt both thrilling and peaceful at the same time. That experience not only gave me an adrenaline rush, but also helped me overcome my fear of heights. It's a memory I will never forget, and I would love to do it again, once.

The place I would like to talk about is the beautiful backwaters of Kochi. Kochi is in the middle region of Kerala and it's famous for its open backwaters, seafood and cultural heritage. I had gone there with my mom, dad and my brother for a one day trip. We mostly went there to try out the different food and enjoy some of the museums and zoos which were available there. Now to talk about an activity, this was a fairly impromptu one. We went there for fishing. We were totally unprepared for this. We ran into one of my dad's old friend who had a shop there which had the fishing gear. So we got ourselves some fishing rods, lures and some bait. And it was gradually towards the evening of the day, the sun was setting. And there were the four of us with our own fishing rods trying to catch something. But then again, fishing is not an easy task. We did find it difficult even to catch one fish. At the end we did leave empty handed. But the memories we made, the conversations we had, the jokes we cracked, those things were always in my mind. Because that was one of the few experiences which I shared with my family very recently. Ever since I shifted to Mumbai for my work.

Follow up questions

What other outdoor activities are popular in Kochi?
In Kochi, apart from fishing, activities like kayaking, boating, and cycling along the backwaters are popular. Tourists often enjoy exploring the scenic beauty and wildlife, as well as participating in local festivals that showcase the culture and traditions of Kerala.

How did you feel about the fishing experience despite not catching any fish?
Even though we didn't catch any fish, the experience was memorable. It was more about spending quality time with my family, sharing laughs, and enjoying the beautiful sunset. The joy of being together and creating lasting memories outweighed the disappointment of not catching anything.

What is your favorite memory from that trip to Kochi?
My favorite memory from the trip is the laughter we shared while fishing. We joked about our lack of skills and made fun of each other's attempts. Those light-hearted moments, combined with the beautiful scenery, made it a special day that I cherish.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

And I liked the place because the outdoor activities were like really thrilling activities. There were water sports and there were like different kinds of water sports. There were like banana boats, sea diving, sea walking. And there was also this thing called snorkeling. One of the most memorable trips I have ever had was a family vacation to Andhigopar Islands. It's a group of beautiful islands located in the Bay of Bengal. Known for their clear blue waters, sandy beaches and peaceful atmosphere. We went there during the summer holidays and it was a perfect break from our busy routine. The islands offered so many exciting water sports. I tried snorkeling for the first time at Havelock Island and it was an amazing experience. I could see colourful fish and coral reefs under the water. My brother enjoyed the banana boat rides while my parents tried scuba diving. We had so much fun together and it really brought us closer as a family. Apart from the adventure, we also explored the history of the island. We visited the famous Cellular Jail in Port Blair which is an important historical site from India's freedom struggle. The light and sound shows there told us emotional stories about the freedom fighters who were imprisoned and it made a strong impression on all of us. Overall, this trip was a perfect combination of adventure, relaxation and learning. The Andaman and Nicobar Islands gave us a wonderful memory that I will cherish and it was truly one of the best family vacations we ever had.

So there was this hiking group that was being organized by an Instagram page, so I took part in that. So the hiking started on a track called Jabli track, which is up north near a place called Sarkasholi. So I went with 6-7 people in the group and we all went there by a car. The most interesting part of the hiking was that we had to go there and cover the whole track, but the highlight of the story was that we got to go up there, up in the mountain, it was drizzling a bit, and we had to cook there. So the moment when they told us that we'll be cooking something, very simple, but we'll be cooking and eating something up there, I got really excited, because I'm not a very outdoorsy person, but food is something that I really really love. And so it happened, we all went there with minimal things to carry and we made noodles up there. And it was so amazing, it tasted 10 times better than it usually does in a normal setting.
