The last long journey I went last year along with my family to Kashmir. I am residing in central of India and Kashmir is in the northern part of my country. Kashmir is such a beautiful place it got a title of heaven on earth and it is something very beautiful and interesting. I went there along with my daughter to make her view the scenery there and she felt ecstatic after going there. Also when we went there I have given her some money to spend and what I observed I was expecting that she is going to be fairly frugal in spending but she spent all her money like extravagant and although it gives her some happiness Kashmir is a place which should be visited by a person once in a life This is a place which is totally different from other cities. It is having beautiful hills and even the grass are like a carpet grass and it's totally out of the world. Our journey is very long. First we took a train. We reached Delhi, a capital of India. From there we boarded a flight to Jammu and Kashmir. It's a capital of the city. And that's it. It was a beautiful experience.

One of the best and longest car journeys I have been on is from Pune to a town in the state of Karnataka in India called Manipal. This town is where I used to study in my college. I had come back to home in Pune and my mother and my father decided that we should go to Manipal in a car. This journey is a total of 800 km. We left Pune at around 6 am in the morning. We travelled for around 100 km, 3 hours and we took our first break. This was our breakfast break in Solapur. We left that, we went to Kolhapur where we had lunch. From Kolhapur, we decided that we will take a stop in Goa which comes in the road and we will stay in Goa for the whole night. In Goa, me, my mother and my father, all three of us absolutely enjoyed it. We stayed there for the night. Next day morning at around 8 o'clock, we left Goa. After leaving Goa, we came to the Karnataka and Goa border where they had to check our car for any liquor we were smuggling because that is what their procedure says. These SOPs have been set in Indian states for stopping smuggling of drugs and alcohol as many people do that nowadays. After we got cleared of the border checking patrol, we went down towards Karwar. We took a halt in Karwar. We had breakfast in Karwar. Karwar is a place right at the coast of Karnataka towards the Arabian Sea and this place is extremely famous for their food. From Karwar, we left, we came to Manipal by 12 o'clock in the afternoon and this journey is something I will never forget in my life.

Follow up questions

What was the most memorable part of your journey?
The most memorable part of my journey was definitely our stop in Goa. We had such a great time enjoying the beach, the food, and the vibrant atmosphere. It was a perfect way to break up the long drive and create lasting memories with my parents.

How did you feel during the long drive?
During the long drive, I felt a mix of excitement and nostalgia. I was excited to revisit my college town, but I also felt nostalgic as I remembered my college days. The long hours in the car were made enjoyable by the conversations and the beautiful scenery we passed.

Would you prefer a car journey or traveling by train or plane?
I would prefer a car journey because it allows for more flexibility and the opportunity to explore places along the way. Unlike trains or planes, we can stop whenever we want, enjoy local food, and create spontaneous adventures, which makes the journey more enjoyable.

When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Well, there will be so much of sleeps and slopes in the mountain range areas that really scared me a lot. During night times it was really a nightmare for me to travel in a car actually. A long car journey I went with was my cousin sister and we went to Masuri which is a hill station located somewhat 4-5 hours from Delhi, the capital of India, which is where we started the journey from. We planned the journey because we wanted a weekend getaway and we hadn't had a vacation in a long time. Also, I like spending a lot of time with this sister. I have known her closely for the last 15 years and one day when we were chatting we realized we hadn't been on a trip together so we were very excited for this trip. In addition, we had to talk to our family, convince them and there were some constraints but eventually we made it. It was, to be very honest, a very thrilling and exciting experience. We had a great time. We went around the hill station, we sat in cafes, we had cozy dinners. We also visited the market, we got some souvenirs and overall we spent a great time together. After that trip, we planned to go on more trips together.

I went to Amritsar with my family. It was me, my sister, my father and my mother. It was a long trip of 10 hours and we had to cover about 850 km in our car. We did a lot of things when we were in our car. After about 2 hours, we stopped somewhere to have juice. Then after 2 more hours, we all were very hungry, so we wanted to eat something. And then we stopped at a restaurant. We ate parathas, we had some chai because it was the morning time and we all wanted to have a good breakfast. It was an amazing experience because me and my sister did not have any idea about the trip we were going to. We all thought that we were just going to a park because our parents never told us that it was not a short trip but a long journey to Amritsar. Amritsar is one of the best places I have ever gone to and I used to tell my parents that I want to go there because of which they planned this trip for us. It was an amazing experience. We all were listening to different songs in the car, we all were talking, we all were laughing, we all were very excited for the trip as it was the first time for all of us that we were going to Amritsar. We were all very excited and happy to be together on this journey.

One long car journey I went on was when I was going to Mussoorie with my friends. It normally takes around 5 hours to reach Mussoorie from Delhi but there was so much traffic in spite of us starting our journey at 5 in the morning that it took us 10 hours and we reached at around 4 o'clock in the evening. We reached there and we stayed at this beautiful wooden cabin from where you could see the skyline underneath clouds. It was really pretty. In Mussoorie, we didn't stop travelling there because it was so crowded and we had to travel for every activity we had planned which was trekking. So we went to this George Everest mountain where we had to trek for 4 hours to reach at the top of this hill and it was beautiful. You could see the clouds and then of course the mall road. It's like even if you're tired, shopping can cure everything and it was a 12 minute walk from our hotel. We used to go till the end of the mall road from library chowk till the parking stand and there's a lot to do there. There's variety of food especially momos which is my favourite food as well. From there, we also went to Kempty fall which is this great water body which falls down from a tree.

So coming to the car journey, we had multiple stops wherein we had taken some breaks, we had swift start driving schedules, driver schedules and we had lots and lots of music in the transit or travel and it's a quite long journey in the car though but it made it so comfortable for me because all of them have became friends, we became a kind of family.
