When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Last year, in June, I went to the Rishikesh with my family, only for seven days. At that time, it was my first trip with my cousins. I felt it was the best idea for me to go with my cousins. They did a lot of activities and one which I remember is river rafting. For me and also for my family, it was the first experience. Earlier, we did not do river rafting. Then I made two teams, me and a person. In one team, there were seven and the other team also had seven members. We started the race in the river. Firstly, I just felt afraid of water. But after 20 seconds, I felt the nature, how it was looking good. I also felt the nature for the first time like that. At that time, I was not vain, I know. But the experience was brilliant. This activity I remembered forever. I will never forget this activity.

The outdoor place that I went to was Andhigopar Islands. I went there with my family. So there are like 4 people in my family. Me, my younger brother, my mum and my dad. And I liked the place because the outdoor activities were like really thrilling activities. There were water sports and there were like different kinds of water sports. There were like banana boats, sea diving, sea walking. And there was also this thing called snorkeling. One of the most memorable trips I have ever had was a family vacation to Andhigopar Islands. It's a group of beautiful islands located in the Bay of Bengal. Known for their clear blue waters, sandy beaches and peaceful atmosphere. We went there during the summer holidays and it was a perfect break from our busy routine. The islands offered so many exciting water sports. I tried snorkeling for the first time at Havelock Island and it was an amazing experience. I could see colourful fish and coral reefs under the water. My brother enjoyed the banana boat rides while my parents tried scuba diving. We had so much fun together and it really brought us closer as a family. Apart from the adventure, we also explored the history of the island. We visited the famous Cellular Jail in Port Blair which is an important historical site from India's freedom struggle. The light and sound shows there told us emotional stories about the freedom fighters who were imprisoned and it made a strong impression on all of us. Overall, this trip was a perfect combination of adventure, relaxation and learning. The Andaman and Nicobar Islands gave us a wonderful memory that I will cherish and it was truly one of the best family vacations we ever had.

I recently visited Manali, a beautiful hill station in Himachal Pradesh, India. The place is surrounded by snow-capped mountains, tall pine trees, and a peaceful river flowing through the valley. The air was fresh and cool, and the scenery looked like something straight out of a postcard. During my stay, I went paragliding in Solang valley, which was one of the exciting outdoor activities I have ever done. As I soared high above the valley, I could see the entire landscape, the green meadows, winding roads, and tiny houses below. It felt both thrilling and peaceful at the same time. That experience not only gave me an adrenaline rush, but also helped me overcome my fear of heights. It's a memory I will never forget, and I would love to do it again, once.

So, recently I along with my four friends went on a trip to Pondicherry which is a Union Territory located in India. Pondicherry is a place with serine beaches and crystal clear sands along the shore of the beaches. While walking on the shore of the beaches, we can see many children, pets as well as adults playing with sand on the border of the beach. This gives us a positive impression and positive vibes while we see them. The main activity which we all did was scuba diving. It was hell of an activity because we had so much fun in that. It was our first time doing the activity which brought a thrill to our souls. Moreover we did other activities like surfing on the beach and we also kept a little task to ourselves to build a big castle. We were divided into a group of two and three and we started working on our castles. I along with my two friends won. So basically our castle consisted of a door and two bedrooms. And the winner of the game will get a treat from the loser. That was the bet. And as we won that night we had huge fun and of course the dining was great as it was completely free for us.

I went to Kashmir when I was just 5 years old. I did horse riding there and it was really interesting. Kashmir is often referred to as the heaven on earth due to its breathtaking beauty. It was a mesmerizing experience, the cold breezes, the snowfall and warm food there. The mornings and freezy nights with a small campfire were just like a cherry on a cake. I adore Kashmir just as I adore my favorite dishes. I also experienced campfire there which was a totally new activity for me. I went there with my parents and my cousins and we really had fun there. I would highly recommend that my close friends visit Kashmir at least once in their lifetime. It felt as though I was living in a cinematic scene experiencing movie-like moments in real life.

So when I moved to Chandigarh, I didn't have many friends, so I took part in any of the activities that was being broadcasted in maybe social media or any activities that were being taken, taking place in the city. So there was this hiking group that was being organized by an Instagram page, so I took part in that. So the hiking started on a track called Jabli track, which is up north near a place called Sarkasholi. So I went with 6-7 people in the group and we all went there by a car. The most interesting part of the hiking was that we had to go there and cover the whole track, but the highlight of the story was that we got to go up there, up in the mountain, it was drizzling a bit, and we had to cook there. So the moment when they told us that we'll be cooking something, very simple, but we'll be cooking and eating something up there, I got really excited, because I'm not a very outdoorsy person, but food is something that I really really love. And so it happened, we all went there with minimal things to carry and we made noodles up there. And it was so amazing, it tasted 10 times better than it usually does in a normal setting.

The place I would like to talk about is the beautiful backwaters of Kochi. Kochi is in the middle region of Kerala and it's famous for its open backwaters, seafood and cultural heritage. I had gone there with my mom, dad and my brother for a one day trip. We mostly went there to try out the different food and enjoy some of the museums and zoos which were available there. Now to talk about an activity, this was a fairly impromptu one. We went there for fishing. We were totally unprepared for this. We ran into one of my dad's old friend who had a shop there which had the fishing gear. So we got ourselves some fishing rods, lures and some bait. And it was gradually towards the evening of the day, the sun was setting. And there were the four of us with our own fishing rods trying to catch something. But then again, fishing is not an easy task. We did find it difficult even to catch one fish. At the end we did leave empty handed. But the memories we made, the conversations we had, the jokes we cracked, those things were always in my mind. Because that was one of the few experiences which I shared with my family very recently. Ever since I shifted to Mumbai for my work.

A place where I went was Alibaug which is in Maharashtra. I went there a couple of months ago and outdoor activity that I did there was paragliding. Initially I feared to do the paragliding because of the height it goes to. I went to that trip with my two girls as initially it was a girls trip. Doing paragliding gave me a sense of adventure, thrill and enjoyment. Also it built a confidence in me that I am able to survive in heights too and I can enjoy the sense of being there.

A place that I recently went to was Ladakh in India. I went there with my family and my extended family that is from my mother's side. It was a beautiful place and we had a lot of fun exploring the different areas in Ladakh. One specific thing that I want to focus on is the outdoor activity that we did there. It was river rafting. It was the first time for all of us and all of us were really excited to go on that. A few of my family relatives were really scared as they did not know how to swim. But rest assured, the team assured us that nothing will happen as we will have floating jackets. They are professional swimmers and are trained to rescue people if they ever fall down. It was a mind-blowing experience for all of us. It was filled with adrenaline and I still remember the force of water and us rafting through the river at high speeds and the water splashing all over us. It was a 15-minute ride and we eventually ended up around 2 kilometers down the terrain. It was one of my most favorite experiences in my life and I loved it.
