When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Well, I remember in year 2023, I just finished my final year exam and then whole of my class decided that we should have some memorable moments with us before leaving the college. And since I was living far away from my home, I was living in hostel. So we decided that we are going to went to Kasauli, then we went to Kasauli and we did a lot of activities there. My one favourite activity which I wanted to do was swimming under the water. But it was very difficult because I didn't know the swimming. Then they hired a personal trainer for me, which was very nice. Well, after hearing this cue card, when beautiful, when a very beautiful incident is coming to my mind. So I remember in year 2023, our final year exam got finished and three friend of mine and I decided that we are going to celebrate our new this new year with together at some beautiful place because this was the last year of our college and we wanted to have some beautiful memories with each other. Then all of us decided that we are going to went to Kasauli and the next day we booked our ticket and went to Kasauli. And Kasauli is very famous for its water activities, but I was the only one among all four of them who didn't know anything about swimming. And for doing that particular activities, we have to be trained in swimming. So they hired a personal trainer for me. And then I learned and then I learned swimming for like one hour, which was enough to do that water activities. And then I dive into the water. I clicked the pictures of my of my favourite fishes. It was a very beautiful activity, which I enjoyed with all of my friends. This activity is the only activity which I have done in a group of people because I was afraid of afraid of doing it alone because I'm a hydrophobic also.

During my master's course in Jindal Global University, I had the opportunity to travel to Manali and Kullu. The Kullu-Manali trip is very popular, especially among South Indians and especially among Malayalees, the community which I belong to, because of its incredible views and very well-known adventures. So I had travelled to Kullu-Manali with two of my friends who were also there visiting Kullu-Manali for the first time. One of the physical or outdoor activities that we had done in Kullu was paragliding. Now paragliding was a special activity for me because I have a very big fear of heights. I find myself afraid to look from the fifth floor of a building or I find it very difficult to go for hikes and look down at a valley. The fear of heights has followed me ever since my childhood and I find myself very drawn back to any activity which involves a tall area or a height difference. So paragliding is the only activity that I have taken until now where we have to jump off a cliff or where there is a lot of height involved. Now I believe that I was encouraged or I had the courage to take this step because of the friends who were with me at the period of time. They were very enthusiastic and excited about it and I did not want to be the person to interfere with that kind of excitement. I just went along and thought, let's see what happens if I am put in a position where I have no choice than to jump from a cliff. That's how it happened.

Okay, so this one time I went to Tarkarli, a place in India, Maharashtra. It is most famous for the scuba diving and water body sports they have. So I went with my family and my friend and his family. We went to scuba diving, we went for paragliding and everything and it was very fun. Moreover, I was happy that the families were spending time together and bonding well. Whereas I and my friend had a misunderstanding but we cleared it very well with good vocabulary. And I was so thrilled that time that we got to experience it together. And then also that we had gone to other sports and the non-veg food over there, the seafood boil over there was very good. Moreover, it was a fun experience for me to go with my family and my friends. And likely to be more prone to go again and again. And I wish that it happens again and again. So therefore I would like to conclude it by saying that it was a really, really nice experience. Like very extraordinary.

I was with all of my friends, all of us were in one bus going to that location that was a sort of we can say park like area which is filled with outdoor activities, we did hiking there, we did trekking there, we did a lot of physical activity like rock climbing in a plain surface and also we did also visit a water park that day and it was actually so good because we all were together, most importantly, it is not about the destination, it is about the journey we did, you know, and like I think it was a best moment because we did a lot of...

Last December I went to Sri Lanka, specifically the southwest part of Sri Lanka, it's a small town called Hikkaduwa. As a town it's quiet with a good crowd and it has some of the best beaches that I've seen. One of the beaches in fact, you can see the Nemo fish right at the shores. So the activity I signed up for was scuba diving and it was my first time scuba diving. I went with my wife and a couple of friends. So it was a 20 minute ride, which felt like somewhere in the center of the ocean. And we were asked to put on the scuba gear and jump backwards into the ocean. And once I was in, it was one of the most calmest experiences that I've ever had in my life. It was scary at first, although we knew how to use the scuba gear and we did get some initial training. Once we were inside the actual ocean at a depth of around 20 meters, it was scary at first but after around 5 minutes there was just a sense of calm. My breathing turned normal and that's when I started to enjoy the views underwater. So as I was swimming I saw different kinds of fish. I saw the orange fish, I think it's called the clown fish, as well as I saw the other blue fish in Finding Nemo. I saw an eel.

The place that I went was Holland Indoor Stadium, which is in Azole Museum. It is a place where you could play basketball. So we went there with my friends, six or seven, and I'm not sure, some of them are my friends, but the other were not. But we used to play basketball together. So the time that we went was around 6 to 8 p.m. because we have to book that place in advance to have the playground for ourselves. So I love playing basketball because it is good for exercising and for health as well. And I also enjoy playing with friends since we have a lot of interaction. And also I have a lot of things that I learned from playing basketball is to have a good team fight, good participation within a group, and we have to understand our friends' movement as well. So I recommend people who never play basketball also to watch basketball because it is fun and enjoyable for all the people.

I would like to share a day journey experience to Kodaikanal which I have traveled just four months back. I went with my family and my uncle family. We together went by car. It was a three days trip and the location was in Tamil Nadu it's in the southern part of India and that was a hilly region and the first day we are quite tired and the next day onwards we was on full fire and we started explore places and what the most highlighting part was that a horse ride. It was my long cherished dream. My dream was to ride on a horse so I accomplished that dream on that day and there was a guide he accompanied me on the entire journey and especially I travel ride with my son Finan and he was just about three years old by that time and he went with me. He was enjoying that ride. He was quite nervous but somehow we have managed that and I was very excited and I still have that video in my phone. By looking at them I feel just funny because I was just popping out of the horse in a varied way and I took some pictures on that. I still cherish all those memories and my husband was supportive that time. Usually he won't agree to ride

One of the most memorable trips I ever taken was to Manali which is a beautiful hill station located in northern part of India in Himachal Pradesh. I went there with my family during the winter holidays last December and it was truly one of the best travel experiences I ever had. Manali is surrounded by snow covered mountains, tall pine trees and flowing rivers which makes it look like a picture straight out of a postcard. The weather was quite chilly and everything was covered with a thick layer of snow which was really exciting for me because I rarely get to see snow. During our stay, we decided to try skiing at Solang valley which is one of the most popular tourist spots near Manali. It was my first time skiing and at first I was little scared because balancing on the snow seemed quite difficult but after a short training session with an instructor, I started to get more comfortable. Once I learned how to slide down the slope, I felt absolutely amazing. The cold breeze on my face and the speed, the beautiful mountain view made it an unforgettable experience. Apart from skiing, we also had fun making snowmen, taking photographs and enjoying hot chocolate at small cafes nearby. Spending time in outdoors in such a beautiful and natural environment helped me feel relaxed and refreshed. Overall, this trip to Manali was a wonderful experience because it allowed me to connect with nature, try a new outdoor activity and spend quality time with my family. I would love to go back there someday and maybe even try snowboarding next time.
