To starting with, the person whom I know who has recently moved to a new place is me. I recently just moved to a new house, that is from a older one, that is like 4 km far from old house. My old house was of 2 bedroom apartment, which was not very spacious for the 4 members. So we decided to move to another house, we built our own house, which has 3 bedrooms, a separate kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a dining hall. My new house is very well designed, very spacious, very comfortable, although my older house was also very comfortable, but because of less space, we have just moved to a new one. At my new home, there is a very decent society, the members of the society are very helpful, they often provide us food, they often do some activity and call us to participate on that also. One of the major drawbacks of moving to a new house here is, if we want to buy something essential like goods, feed, product, anything, we want to buy groceries, we have to go far from here, but in our old house, having everything nearby it only.

Follow up questions

What were the main reasons for your move to the new house?
The main reasons for moving were the lack of space in our old apartment and the need for a more comfortable living environment for our family. With four members, we needed more bedrooms and a better layout, which we found in our new house.

How did you feel about leaving your old neighborhood?
Leaving my old neighborhood was bittersweet. I had many fond memories there, and it was convenient for shopping and socializing. However, I was excited about the new opportunities and the friendly community in my new society.

What challenges have you faced since moving to the new place?
One of the main challenges has been the distance to essential shops and grocery stores. In our old house, everything was nearby, but now we have to travel further to get what we need, which can be inconvenient at times.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

One of my best friends, Kirti, just moved to Australia to pursue higher studies. She is currently studying at the University of Melbourne and pursuing a degree in psychology. She's one year elder to me and that is why she has always had kind of greater wisdom than me, I feel. I think her move actually inspired me to pursue Australia as well. So I too aspire to go to Australia, which is why I'm actually given this test. I think her move has had a very positive impact on me as communicating with her has prepared me for the challenges that I could possibly face over there. She has also acquainted me with the environment over there. She is currently living in university accommodation. I was initially considering living outside university since it was cost effective, however she told me that for my first year I should explore university life more than city life. So finally I choose the university accommodation. She experienced a very, she reported a very good experience living there by saying that people are very amicable and open, unlike people, unlike some people in India.

The person who recently moved away to a new place is someone who is very important to me and very close to me. My brother recently moved to Australia for his higher education. He is currently pursuing master's in AI and software. So the reason he moved was to get more experience, more exposure and to just learn few new things, new connects. However, this had a dual impact on me. There are some days on which I feel really happy for him. I really feel proud to him. I look up to him. But there are days where I just miss him, just try to reconnect him through a video call or a message just to fill those voids. But overall I really am happy for him and I really look up to him the way he has taken up to all the hurdles in a very happy and very positive way. The only thing which I worry is about the place he's been, about the people he's roaming around with. But overall I trust him and I just feel really happy for him.

Let me walk you through an experience that is right up my alley. It is something that happened that stayed with me up and taught me few unexpected things. It was a time when my brother who lives in Mumbai flew to visit us after a long time. He is tech savvy and very creative. So whenever he visits, we try to explore new things and work on new technology. And after completing his graduation, he is planning for his master's from another country, UK or Germany. So he is planning for both these countries. And so he planned all these things, he arranged all the documents which are required for his master's. And like everything was going smoothly as per the plan. But out of the blue, one of our relatives had a word with my father and convinced him that the master's that he is going to pursue is not required in this generation. And that is a waste of money. That relative is quite a known all kind of person. And he was able to manage my father due to which he has some difficulties to convince father for this thing. But somehow, although all these struggles, he was able to convince father for his master's. Then recently, last year, he moved to UK. He got admission in a very good university and I am feeling very happy for him out of all these challenges.

Recently my friend Juvie, she has moved to a new country. The country name is UK, United Kingdom and the main purpose why she had done that transition from one country to the other is because of work opportunities and after she reached there she has shared a lot of experience which she has undergone. Moreover with each experience she was describing I was able to relate myself because we have we do share same profession so therefore I also find that even I can go there and can find some work for myself so it really create a positive impression on me. The way she has the ability to do multitasking and to accept the challenges is the one which inspire me the most. So the shift from our own country to a different nation is something which demands the courage and it is more challenging. So from this act of hers I can able to really find like I can also do that that type of feeling really makes me get inspired from us and it creates a positive impact on me though I had not thought it earlier but when she shared all the things and when I saw her really growing well there I felt that it is awesome and I also needs to be in that place. So we decided to move to another house, we built our own house, which has 3 bedrooms, a separate kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a dining hall.
