I have been to Talcatorra Stadium which is near Connaught Place. I went there to watch T20 match which was being played by the renowned cricketers. I went along with my family including my mother-in-law, my husband and my elder son who is six years old. I was fascinated how the cricketers had burnt the Midnight Oil to play that well. We relished the taste of popcorn, coke and pizza while watching the match simultaneously. Surprisingly the ball was shot towards the direction where we were sitting and my husband got the chance to catch it. We were on cloud nine as we got the ball. Soon the match was ended because it started raining in the stadium so we could not get to see the winning team but indeed it was a great experience and the view was quite mesmerizing. Moreover it was a different experience for me as I went to see the live match for the first time. Also my son got to know about different cricketers and he also understood the basic rules of the cricket match. Additionally my mother-in-law and I along with our family had a great time all together and it was pivotal to be cherished forever.

So, recently I had been to the Mutera Stadium, which is also known as the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad for watching India-Pakistan match of World Cup in 2023. The stadium was jam-packed. The atmosphere there was electrifying due to the anticipation of match between both the countries. However, I found that there are many people, there were more people cheering for India more than Pakistan because the match was taking place in Ahmedabad. And the stadium was of capacity 1.5 lakh people, however, there were more people waiting outside the stadium cheering for the country and what I liked about the match was India won the match was something which I was expecting and I was also cheering for India, being an Indian. That was something which I loved about watching that match. It was my childhood dream to watch a cricket match in a stadium and the good part about that was that I got to watch India-Pakistan match, which is one of the most anticipated and the most important tournaments of the World Cup season. India ended up losing in the final, which was heartbreaking for me because I went to watch that match also. That match took place between India and Australia and Australia won the World Cup of 2023, ODI Men's World Cup. That was the only ICC tournament which India missed after winning all the matches and after that also, after that loss also, India won all the matches and all the ICC trophies.

A place where I used to go for sports was Kanthirava Stadium. As I was an athlete during my school days, my school used to take me to the stadium for various competitions. I used to compete with a lot of school kids and high schoolers and I used to play basketball. Even though I couldn't win a lot of prizes, I enjoyed playing and having such a great experience with a lot of students and got to learn a lot of things. And even now, I cherish the pain that I went through, the competition I had, the rigorous training that I used to have is what kept me going in this field. And now, even though I don't play for competitions, I personally love going for jogging and enjoying the scenery and I also play swimming and play basketball during the evenings.

A popular place I've been to is the Parc des Paris football stadium. I was travelling to Paris for a work trip and being the passionate football fan that I am, I booked a ticket to watch Lionel Messi play, he's my favourite football player. And I was so excited for this game, I reached about 3 hours earlier than the indicated time and travelling on the subway train itself was an experience for me. I was able to interact with the home supporters of the French Paris team and it was a different experience to what I'm used to coming to football games in India where you don't have as many passionate supporters. And getting to the stadium, everything was incredibly organised, we were in with our tickets within a 5 minute span and the game itself was incredible, Paris Saint-Germain, that's the team's name, they won 5-0 with Mbappe scoring a hat-trick and Lionel Messi, my favourite player, playing really well, so that was a great experience.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

One of the popular places for sports that I have visited is the Edengarden Stadium in Kolkata. It is one of the largest cricket stadiums in India and is often called the Mecca of Indian cricket. I went there about 2 years ago to watch an IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians. I had always seen matches on television but being there in person was a completely different experience. The stadium was filled with thousands of fans cheering loudly, waving flags and singing team songs. The energy in the crowd was unbelievable. I watched the entire match live and it felt so exciting to see the players so close. I even lost my voice from shouting and cheering. I felt thrilled and lucky because it's not easy to get tickets for such big matches. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life and I would love to visit the stadium again in the future.

I would like to describe a popular place for sports that I have been to which is the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, India. I visited this stadium about two years ago with my friends to watch an IPL cricket match. It was located in the heart of the city and is one of the most famous cricket grounds in the country. During my visit, I watched a T20 game between the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and another team. The atmosphere was electrifying. Thousands of fans were cheering, waving flags, and singing team songs. The energy inside the stadium was unbelievable, and it made the match even more exciting. Personally, I felt thrilled and lucky to be there because I usually watch cricket on television, but experiencing it live in a stadium gave me goosebumps. It was an unforgettable day to see my favorite players right in front of me, and the crowd enthusiasm made it a more memorable event. Last week I planned to go to Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium which is located in Raipur Dehradun near Mussoorie Road to watch a cricket match between India and Afghanistan. As India was the host, so there was a humongous crowd to support India. The match started at 8 o'clock in the evening. India won the toss and elected to bat first. But unfortunately India lost 4 of their wicket in just 4 overs. Then came Rinku Singh at number 6. He made a partnership with Rohit Sharma and India ended up their 20 overs by making 214 runs with a loss of 4 wickets as the partnership between Rohit Sharma and Rinku Singh was unbeaten. Then came Afghan team. They almost chased the total but unfortunately for them the score tied and it went to super over. The tragic thing happened to Afghanistan was that the first super over was also tied. Then the match came to second super over. The second super over was won by India and there was so lightning all over the ground. The ground was very beautiful and it is located between the mountains. It was a fun trip to watch.

I also enjoyed a bit of stadium food which was amazing, surprisingly because stadiums in India are not known for having good food but the stadium had amazing food choices. Overall, the energy in the stadium was really hyping. The people were so eager and energetic to support their team that you flow with the people. It was noisy but it was also sort of a serene experience for me somehow. I enjoyed it the most and it was a memorable experience for me because it was the first time I visited a live cricket game at a stadium where there were about thousands of people cheering for the Indian cricket team so it was really amazing.

In addition, the world famous rapper and Hindi pop star Karan Ojala did the closing inauguration show. I was very thrilled to watch him. Furthermore, the owner of the team and the famous actor Shah Rukh Khan, the manager of Kolkata Knight Riders gave a 4 minute long speech. The one popular place for sports that I will want to discuss about is the Shanapuram Stadium that is in Kota, Rajasthan. That is my hometown. I love that place because I have been going there since I was a kid. During that time, I used to practice a lot of games including Taekwondo, Athletics, Basketball, Badminton and a lot of other games. When I was 3-4 years old, I used to visit there. I used to practice Taekwondo with a teacher and there were 20-30 students who used to practice with me. I made a lot of friends during that time and I am very fond of the memories that I had of that time. Gradually as time passed by, I became elder, I grew and as I grew, my games changed. When I was around 10 years old, I started playing badminton and I used to go to the same stadium. There was a badminton court, it was a wooden court and there was a synthetic court. As I was guided by my teachers, I used to practice on a wooden court and I played really well. When the time came, I got selected for my nationals and I did do well in my nationals. Though I couldn't win a medal, I did stand at the second place and won a silver medal. When I came back from that place, I was amazed and everybody celebrated my victory. So that is why I will say that the place, the stadium is one of my favourite and it holds a lot of memories and it has been a wonderful part of my life.
