When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

A popular place I've been to is the Parc des Paris football stadium. I was travelling to Paris for a work trip and being the passionate football fan that I am, I booked a ticket to watch Lionel Messi play, he's my favourite football player. And I was so excited for this game, I reached about 3 hours earlier than the indicated time and travelling on the subway train itself was an experience for me. I was able to interact with the home supporters of the French Paris team and it was a different experience to what I'm used to coming to football games in India where you don't have as many passionate supporters. And getting to the stadium, everything was incredibly organised, we were in with our tickets within a 5 minute span and the game itself was incredible, Paris Saint-Germain, that's the team's name, they won 5-0 with Mbappe scoring a hat-trick and Lionel Messi, my favourite player, playing really well, so that was a great experience.

I'd like to talk about a very popular sports place I visited. It's the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. It's one of the biggest cricket stadiums in India and has a capacity of around 40,000 people. I went there with my friends last year to watch an IPL match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings. It was my first time watching a live cricket match in a stadium. At first, I was amazed by the huge crowd and the electrifying atmosphere. Everyone was cheering, waving flags and shouting slogans for their favourite team. The energy was unbelievable. What I liked the most was how the stadium was designed. It has comfortable seating, big screens to watch replays and good foot stalls. We also took a lot of photos together. The match was very exciting and close. The crowd went crazy every time a batsman hit a six or took a wicket. It felt very different from watching cricket on TV. Overall, visiting the stadium was an amazing experience for me. It's a perfect place for sports lovers to enjoy the game, feel the vibe and create beautiful memories with friends. I hope to go there again for another match someday.

One popular sports venue I have visited in the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi, India. It is a massive complex, capable of hosting a wide range of sporting events, and I have been there for a few different occasions. The sheer scale of the stadium is impressive with its large seating capacity and expansive playing fields. I have witnessed both football and athletics events there, and the energy of the crowd is always electric, especially during the big match or competition. The facilities are well-maintained, and it is clear that the stadium is a hub for sports enthusiasts. Beyond the main arena, there are also indoor sports facilities, including a gymnasium and courts for various sports, making it a versatile place.

There are many popular places of sports across the world but one of my favorite and the most iconic book The Cricket is the Wang Khade Stadium. It is located in Mumbai on the seashore right next to the Arabian Sea, Nariman Point which is another iconic place to hang out in Mumbai. There are two stadiums within 200 meters proximity out of which one being the Brebon Stadium and another one being the Wang Khade. So my personal experiences starting from days back when I was in school, I won my first ever Guild Shield Tournament final playing at the Wang Khade when I was just 13 years old and that is what made it even more special. A lad who was born and brought up in Mumbai, it is always special to score some runs there at the Wang Khade and get a trophy back home. It has a 33,000 seating capacity which is huge, huge number of audience coming in. It feels surreal, it is a home ground for Mumbai Indians for the IPL season. Mumbai Indians is the most successful IPL team who has won 5 trophies. When I started pursuing my Bachelors in Sports Management, I was fortunate enough to get an internship opportunity with Mumbai Cricket Association who works or who handles all the operations at the Wang Khade Stadium for the World Cup 2023. I was the Hospitality Supervisor, I witnessed the iconic Virat Kohli 50th ODI century and India winning the semifinals against New Zealand taking their revenge of 2023 World Cup semifinals and who could forget that MS Dhoni 6er way back in 2011 of India lifting World Cup after 28 years.

A few months back this year, I visited the Andheri Sports Complex, which is the home stadium of Mumbai City FC. I planned to visit this place with the motive of watching the esteemed ISL semifinals, where ISL stands for the Indian Super League, a well-known football tournament all across Mumbai. The match was between Mumbai City FC and Punjab FC. Being a semi-professional footballer and a football fanatic, I was filled with enthusiasm to watch Mumbai City FC compete against one of the top teams across the country. I visited the stadium along with the home crowd, which was one of the fan bases well-known for their loyalty and contributions for the growth of Mumbai City FC. The stadium was filled with enthusiastic cheers and slogans for Mumbai City FC. There were rants and more than rants, there was booze and there was competitiveness in the environment of the stadium. Mumbai City FC fought very hard in the first half, whereas Punjab FC showed their resilience in the second half. Ultimately, Mumbai City FC edged Punjab FC by a margin of two goals to one, which proved why it was worth watching the match. The experience was something different or unique for me and hence I visited the stadium for that purpose.

A popular place for sports that I have been to recently is Wankhede Stadium. There, the stadium actually the stadium actually conducts cricket matches and recently I had gone there to watch a cricket match which was the basic IPL match. It is in Mumbai itself and I'd got tickets in free from my uncle so we went for the match. The whole family together took some time out of their day and we all went to watch Virat Kohli play for India and I feel as a Virat Kohli fan, watching him in person play such amazing shots one after the other was really appealing to see and it was like a dream come true for me. Apart from that, I also love Bumrah as his bowling is phenomenal. Everybody in the stadium had certain names being called for their favourite players and when everybody does the wave, it is really fascinating to watch everything happen live in front of you. The drawbacks were it was very hot and you couldn't really focus on the game.

A place where I used to go for sports was Kanthirava Stadium. As I was an athlete during my school days, my school used to take me to the stadium for various competitions. I used to compete with a lot of school kids and high schoolers and I used to play basketball. Even though I couldn't win a lot of prizes, I enjoyed playing and having such a great experience with a lot of students and got to learn a lot of things. And even now, I cherish the pain that I went through, the competition I had, the rigorous training that I used to have is what kept me going in this field. And now, even though I don't play for competitions, I personally love going for jogging and enjoying the scenery and I also play swimming and play basketball during the evenings.

Around a year ago, I visited Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok to watch a football game between two local teams. The stadium was huge, filled to the brim with people from all different countries supporting their favorite teams. Being in a stadium that full was exhilarating as everyone was cheering and supporting their teams and shouting out chants, mantras that could motivate the team. Colors were everywhere. It was so bright and colorful and it brought me a lot of joy. Being in a stadium this large makes you feel so small as you are just one among several people who are there. Although it's huge, you also feel as though you are seeing something you have never seen before. It's exhilarating and the feeling is quite surprising as I have never felt it before.

A popular place for sports that I have been going to is the pickleball court at Tiger 5. It is located at Koramangala. I have been going here from January this year. The first time I went there, I played pickleball with my friends. I didn't know the sport previously. That was the first time and I got to learn it. One of my friends was acquainted with the sport. He was able to teach us. Since then, we have been going every Saturday to play the sport. Pickleball basically involves a smaller court compared to tennis. Four people can play the sport and the bats are made of plastic with a plastic ball which has holes on it. Moreover, it is a very fun experience for communities to play together. Pickleball has been nothing short of a thrilling experience for me. It has helped me recognize and enjoy a new sport. I am always delighted whenever we plan to play pickleball. It has been a really ecstatic experience. Pickleball has helped me identify my love for racket sports. It has also rekindled my previous love for table tennis because it does borrow aspects from table tennis, tennis and badminton. However, pickleball is very expensive. That is one disadvantage with the sport. We always rent rackets and the ball at the court itself.

In 2018, along with my parents, I had gone to a football final match between India and Nepal in Mumbai City FC Stadium in Andheri Lokhandwala, close to my house. I went to the stadium to watch the match and I was feeling ecstatic to see not only India win the match but also completely destroy, or to say it nicer, completely decimate Nepal. The match itself was amazing, the Shio will of staying alive for the final was another level. Not only did I go for this match, I ended up actually playing on the ground a few days later because of being a part of a football training course that took place on the same ground. Stepping onto the ground felt as I was a player myself. Stepping onto the pitch, I felt as I was part of the India team and I could do anything possible. Sadly, however, the feeling went away but to this day, I do remember the match and I end up remembering the score which India won 2-1.
