When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

    Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

One person I admire for protecting the environment is Greta Thunberg, the young climate activist from Sweden. She became well-known a few years ago when she started skipping school every day to protest outside the Swedish apartment. Sorry, sorry, I made a mistake. One person I admire for protecting the environment is Greta Thunberg, the young climate activist from Sweden. She became well-known a few years ago when she started skipping school every day to protest outside the Swedish parliament demanding stronger action on the climate change. What makes her so inspiring is her persistence. She has spoken at huge international events like the United Nations Climate Summit, telling the world leaders to listen to the science and to act before it's too late. She travels mostly by train or boat instead of flying to reduce her carbon footprint, and she encourages others to make similar lifestyle changes, which is really inspiring. Her efforts have sparked a global movement called Fridays for Future, where millions of students in different countries have joined the climate strikes. Even I was a part of it. I think that what makes her stand out is her ability to turn a personal concern into a worldwide convention. Even though she is so young, I admire her because she is not just talking about the problem, she is living according to her values and takes real discipline. She is one of the proof that one determined person can make a difference even against huge challenges. These are the few reasons that I admire her, and there are a list of many more reasons that make me adore her.

The person who I admire the most when it comes to protecting the environment is definitely my grandfather. He has been an environmentalist for a really long time. As far as I remember, from a really young age he has motivated and promoted me to plant more trees and compost my waste and reuse it as a soil fertilizer. It was a really fun experience for me as a kid. So whenever we used to go to our farmhouse as a kid, he used to make me see all the trees that were growing, water them, take care of them, keep a record of how the trees are growing. Later on, when I grew up a little more, he had organized a community meeting of our neighborhood and made everyone in the neighborhood start composting their waste and built a huge composter in the community garden for everyone to use. So everyone would have to go and dump their waste, segregate it properly and dump it in the composter and later use that same compost as a natural fertilizer for the plants. So he really motivated everyone in the neighborhood to do the same. And furthermore, he also made a community center inside our neighborhood so that people could come and discuss about the environmental issues that they are having around them or somewhere in their city where my grandfather could give some ideas about how they can improve the environmental crisis and maybe make something that is better for the nature, better for the animals around there.

What makes him stand out is his calm, wise voice and his passion for the nature world. Even though he is over 90 years old, he still speaks out strongly on environmental issues and he has even addressed the United Nations and world leaders urging them to take immediate actions. Thanks to people like him, many others, including young people, have become more aware and involved in protecting the planet. He is a great example how one person can make a big impact just by spreading knowledge and encouraging change.

When I worked in an industry, I came to meet Mr. Raghav. He is a person who always loves the environment and the surroundings he lives in. He has always tried to speak about the environment and how to protect the environment. He conducted some speech classes to the students at the college level and school level and encouraged the new generation to protect the environment. Also, he tried to convert the green land, that is, there is no cultivation there. He converted the land to an agricultural area. Moreover, he cultivated many items like vegetables, peas and dragon fruits. Furthermore, he also created a pond for fish farming. He encouraged people in the industry to come to this kind of agriculture and farming and protect the environment by reusing the waste of plants and fish for biogas generation.

Sure, one person who comes to my mind is my college friend Ananya. Ananya also organizes regular clean-up drives at local beaches and parks, which has really inspired many young people in our neighborhood, including me. She uses social media to spread awareness and shares simple eco-tips people can follow in their daily lives like switching to reusable bags or growing plants at home. What makes him truly inspiring is that even in his 90s, he continues to advocate for urgent action to protect nature. He speaks at global events, collaborates with scientists and uses his voice to influence policy makers.

Hello, so my brother, he is a nature lover. His name is Anume and he actively is a part of Rotary Club Nature's group. So they often go to different rivers and do a thorough river cleaning. They make aware to the surrounding people about how the river ecosystem gets damaged because of ill practices and ill habits like washing in the river and throwing garbage into the river. And this is how they spread the awareness through the advertisements and through radios also. I admire my brother for doing such a social work and I am very proud of him on how he has inculcated this passion towards the nature and towards the environment for the betterment of the environment and is always on his toes when it comes to saving the nature, improving the nature and making it more better. Nowadays it is very rare to find such a thought process in people and even though my brother is a Gen Z person yet he is so much inclined towards such serious topics. I admire him the most.

The person who helps me protect the environment is my very own grandmother. Her name is Gira Joshi and she's a very enthusiastic environmentalist. She wholeheartedly works to making the earth a better place to live. Every morning she wakes up and the first thing she does is water the plants in our backyard. Then she goes out to feed the cats with some milk and the dogs with some dog food. Then she also comes back home and cleans up all the dirt in our house to make our home a better environment to live in. She is actively involved in the environmentalist club in our area and takes any measure and even the slightest help to make the world a better place to live in. She refrains from using the air conditioning as she knows the side effects of air conditioning are very bad for the earth. She also makes sure that she does not run the gas for too long as she knows that gas is a limited resource. She tries to make minimal usage of plastic and has most of her bags in cloth or any other material.

One person I know who really makes an effort to protect the environment is my cousin Aisha. She's in her early 30s and works as an environmental science teacher at a local college. I've known her since childhood and she's always been passionate about nature and sustainability. What makes her stand out is her constant commitment to eco-friendly living. For example, she avoids using single plastics, always carries a reusable bottle and a shopping bag, and even composts her kitchen waste at home. She also volunteers with a local non-profit that organizes tree planting drives and clean-up events in the community. On top of that, Aisha is very active on social media where she shares simple tips for reducing waste and living a greener lifestyle. She's inspired many of her friends and students, and not to forget her followers, to adopt more environmental-friendly habits, including me. In fact, I've started using public transport more often and cutting back on plastics after following her advice. I really admire her for not just talking about the environmental issues but actually taking action. She's proof that small, consistent efforts can make a big difference. I think if more people followed her example, we'd be in a much better place in terms of protecting the environment.

My grandfather has... There is this guy who is a childhood friend of my grandfather. And once we visited him because my grandfather wanted to relive the nostalgia with his childhood friend. So we all, with my mom and my dad and we visited, with my grandfather, we visited this guy. And this guy was living in a small village where he built his home in the middle of a field, cornfield. And he actually got all of his resources naturally. For example, his gas connection was gobar gas. And his water was from the nearby well. And his garbage disposal system, oh my god, let me tell you, this was really mesmerizing for me to even watch. Because whatever kitchen waste he produced, he used that to generate gas and electrical supply with the solar panels. And everything, almost everything in his house was designed in such a way that he is self-sufficient. And his produce from the farm was absolutely succulent and delicious. This really changed my view that one person could be self-sufficient in a village somewhere in the corner of the world. And we are all running towards something that we don't even know would exist. Or like we are living from paycheck to paycheck with so much consumerism. I think productivity should be prioritized rather than consumerism and only then humanity would achieve happiness. And I learned that from him. This was my take of the day when I left from his house. Like productivity gives you so much happiness and contentment than consumerism will ever give you.
