When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

    Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

I will not say about a person who protects the environment, but according to me, in today's world full of pollution and hazardous activities, Government of India is doing very great work for protecting the environment. The Government of India has made several new projects which are environment friendly and had stopped and criminalized several activities promoting pollution. The Indian Government had built several Greenfield Corridor Expressways which has helped to protect the environment as well as to reduce the pollution. Also the implementation of electric cars is very environment friendly too. The Government of India is also subsidizing the use of solar panels for electricity production and they are also subsidizing electric cars for clean and clear fuel which is a sustainable and more safer version of power. They are also rewarding the schemes and policies which are favoring to protect the environment. India is doing extremely well in environment protection and wildlife conservation. Many wildlife sanctuaries and national parks have been set up and they are run very successfully. The number of tiger and elephant had significantly rose in the last two decades under the supervision of Government of India and the new policies that are being implemented in this field. So, I will say...

The person who actually inspired me to get into activism myself was Greta Thunberg. I remember back in 2018 when she made the first headlines. A 16 year old Swedish girl sitting outside the parliament of Sweden every Friday skipping school trying to declare a climate emergency in her country. So that was something which was unheard of before, me being as a teen myself. And it was something which inspired me or which put me in awe. How did she come up with this? Who gave her this idea? But when I dug more deep into the climate crisis and the global warming and all this phenomena it came to know what actually she was trying to say. She was actually trying to save our future, the upcoming generation future. And this small act of skipping school every Friday gave rise to a global movement called Fridays for Future which has more than millions of students coming out on the streets every Friday consistently to put out their voice, demand the change makers or the lawmakers to declare a climate emergency which has seen huge results in many countries. We have fought many legal actions, asked many lawmakers to actually make this an agenda in the parliament. And what I love about her is her consistency despite getting all the aid, all the threats from the industry.

Afrosar and he noticed Warsaw Bridge in Mumbai. I admire him because he's real example of leaderships to action. He inspires me his dedication consistently and humility. One of the most remarkable aspect of his work is how he turned a small personal initiative into a mass movement and overall his efforts lead to the removal of thousands of tons of plastic waste. In a world where people often complain or wait for someone to solve problem, Afrosar proves that taking small but consistent steps can inspire an entire community and beyond.

Okay, so the person who helps in protecting the environment, whom I personally admire, is the two professors from our college, that is Mr. Vaibhav Bhadange and Ms. Pragati Katkide, who have been working with our college since 5 years and now they have set up NSS unit, which is also known as National Service Scheme, under which they run various programs and events, which focuses on building the activities related to the environmental conservation, plantation, then cleanliness drive and many more, through which they always build a motto to protect the environment and help others. And the most admiring thing would be that they have built a network of students and they have been constantly working hard on exploring and expanding that network to the other colleges as well and they have successfully done and conducted various events at various localities in our city, through which they have successfully established a network, which is constantly working on protecting the environment and educating others in the same concern.

    Band 6-7

The person who helps to protect the environment is the garbage collector, why? Because every day the garbage collector comes to each individual's house and collects the garbage then that is being processed somewhere at other place where the garbage is being segregated properly without mixing up the things such as glass, plastic which may lead to other environmental factors and I like it because they promote cleanliness, if the garbage is not collected every day apparently it will make places dirty because people will tend to throw that garbage anywhere and this will lead to spread of more number of diseases which is probably not a good way and also it will lead to some of the hygiene problems. I admire garbage collectors because definitely they do a lot of hard work from going one place to another and collecting those garbage which we feel is not that good or think about the hygiene prospects, I think they do a great job.

    Band 6-7

So, a person who helps to protect the environment, I can see vividly, the name coming to my mind is Diya, who is also my girlfriend. She loves to protect the environment as she is a microbiologist, she is very very hygienic and careful about the matter, she used to get very angry when anybody is throwing plastics or other substances to the environment openly, she used to scold them and she also guide them to not to do that. She is a very environment friendly person as she doesn't promote the pollution which is happening, she prefers to walk instead of booking a cab to go nearby places. She is an environmentalist who walks from home itself, she doesn't need anyone's support to protect the environment, she also doesn't use the perfumes etc. which is not CFC free as it affects the environment and she does whatever it takes from her end to protect the environment.

    Band 6-7

As we know environment play an essential role in everyone's life and it's enhanced CO2 and XlO2 its sources are very important for human being so today I would like to talk about a particular person who help to protect the environment it is not other than my mother my mother is a green panther and it's like to grow a plant grow a plant grow a plant plants are very important for environment like reduce global warming and provide fresh air and many more my mother made a mini kitchen near our home and he grow many more other plants like bunion trees, coriander leaves, banana trees and many more because it's help to protect environment and he is always support which person who love to grow plants and helping environment and I feel very proud of my mother because he is a green panther and I also involved this replantation drive because it's very helpful in our life and I enjoyed planting I enjoyed grow a plant around my home and it's very beneficial for our health and our global reduce our global warming and

    Band 6-7

So a person who I know that helps to protect the environment is Ratan Tata. He is now normal but when he is in the living he contributes so much in growing the plants to protect our environment from the global warming and other pollution. He also gives some funds to the NGOs and the organizations who help in growing the plants and make the environment clean by reducing the global warming and recycling the waste products. These are the things which are done by Ratan Tata and he uses his funds for these types of things. They inspire us through their work as he works a lot hard to clean the environment and to protect that environment from the global warming and other harmful gases. These are the things which inspires others. I like this person because of his kindness and work. The work he does for the other people, the charity he gives to the poor people so that they can also get educated and can stand on their feet all by their own and can come to their all potential.

    Band 6-7

There is a person in my 8th standard, a social teacher, who is a very environmental activist. Our social madam, Swarupa Rani ma'am, used to take us on every Thursday evenings to outings, like she used to take us to parks and gardens and make us to know the importance of how the trees and plants makes our life easy and protects our life by producing the oxygen, which is a major part of our living. The ma'am inspires us by sharing all the fun facts and all the important knowledge that a person, that a children has to know from the bottom. I truly admire my teacher because she has made us to incorporate a habit of planting a tree or gifting a tree for a friend on their birthdays, we all got inbuilt on planting and growing the trees, which has brought a very good change in our lifestyle and me along with myself along with my other classmates, we have planted a couple of trees and frequently water regularly watering. Subsequently we have grown a mango tree in our garden area at home and a 4-5 different plants.
