When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

One habit that my friend Rahul and I want to develop is waking up early in the morning. Rahul is one of my closest friends from college and we often discuss ways to improve ourselves and be more productive. We both feel that waking up early has many benefits. For example, it gives us extra time to plan a day, exercise or study without distractions. Currently, we both struggle with staying up late, which leads to waking up late and feeling rushed in the mornings. Developing this habit helps us feel more energetic and organized throughout the day. The main reason we want to develop this habit is to improve our productivity and time management. We believe that starting the day early will give us a sense of accomplishment and allow us to focus on our priorities. It will also help us develop a healthier lifestyle since we can use the mornings for exercise or other qualitative activities. To achieve this, we plan to go to bed earlier and set small goals like waking up just 15 minutes earlier each day until we achieve our desired routine. We also motivate each other by sending a text or a call in the morning to check if we are both up. In short, Rahul and I are determined to develop this habit because it will benefit us both physically and mentally in the long run.

Although I have a big circle of friends and they all have some bad habits and some good habits here I would like to talk about a specific person who has a great habit of staying calm in every situation and this is a habit that I want to develop in myself. Her name is Puneet. She is one of my close friends. She has a great habit of staying patient. If I recall correctly, I first saw her habit when I was in school. There was a specific debate competition and we both had to speak in front of the group of people where I saw, on the one hand I was quite nervous, on the other hand she was quite confident and positive and she gave a phenomenal speech. After seeing her, I asked her how is she that much calm and she told me that it is because of doing exercise and meditation on a daily basis and apart from it she told me that other reason was reading books.

The habit that I want to develop is gardening. One of my closest friends has been gardening for years. She has this very huge garden behind her house and it's very fascinating to go through it and see all the plants that she has planted. Her name is Dilgap and she has been my close friend for 10 years now. The reason why I want to pick up on this habit is because I feel like it's a really interesting and fun hobby. I will get to spend time with the earth and be close with the mother nature. This will result in me spending much less time on my phone, which is a good thing. Furthermore, there will be more plants, vegetables or fruits in my house that I could use, cook or enjoy. I absolutely feel like this should be a habit that everyone should pick up on.

As an adult I have learned how much consistency pays off. A consistent habit makes your life much more easier. Recently I have talked to a friend and she has the habit of waking up every day at 5 o'clock and working out daily. I really like that habit and she told me to do a 21 day challenge to build up a habit. I'm really excited to do it and I have started my way on it. I have made out a plan. Now I have started with sleeping early to wake up at the 5 o'clock in the morning to then work out and have a great breakfast to start my day. Habits are not built over one day or two. It needs discipline, self-motivation. When days are rough you still need to get going. That's how you make a perfect life. That's how you make a life that brings impact in the world. Habits are a strong position that takes you places that you haven't imagined of yourself. Waking up early in the morning makes me much more fresher and gives me a lot more time to think about my day and schedule my day and have a little time to myself before the hustle and bustle of life starts.

The friend I would like to mention is my best friend. One habit that I would like to develop from him is how he is able to complete his work without procrastinating. I believe that procrastination is my biggest weakness. I have tried a lot of ways to overcome it, unfortunately I couldn't. When I saw my friend talking about the way he concentrates at his work, that motivated me to ask him more on how he does not procrastinate while he works. With his guidance, I am able to work on myself and I am doing much better than before.

So, there's this my friend named Vaishnavi, she's my best friend and we are friends since it's been 14 years now and there's this habit she has, she wakes up early and she's very active when it comes to fulfilling her tasks. She doesn't procrastinate at all, while I would love to develop that habit in myself because I procrastinate my tasks a lot, I feel I like working due to flexibility, I don't believe much in pressurizing, so I would love that habit to have in me and I can observe her, she's really very active when it comes to her tasks and activities, she's so much punctual, like it literally shook me and I was like even I can develop that thing in me while I need to work on myself for that.

Building habits are often considered difficult, but I believe if you want to strengthen any habit, then just do that particular work for 21 days and you can automatically feel the essence of that particular habit on 22nd day. Foremost thing I would like to tell that I have also built up one habit of investing my money digitally like on stocks etc. I started this habit building with my one of junior, I met him in my college during my course and then later on we shared our flat and he was keen explorer of the digital world and likewise I also started believing in investing digitally. So this habit helped us to gain some profit and we started taking out 10% of total which we have per month so that we can strategically invest that money. Apart from this, we started gaining knowledge about it that we should not spend our 10% also recklessly. We should spend that money with proper guidance and education so that we should face gains although loss may also happen but loss may be to some extent not always. So accordingly we build up.

One of my friend named Afzal, I met him back when I was studying in 11th standard. He had some unusual habits, like if he wanted to do something, he will do it. He will stick to it until he learns it, learns the thing he is trying to do. So, I like the habit of his because he doesn't give up at any point of life. He will struggle for it, he will practice hard every day to master it. So, I like this habit of his. I want to be just like him. Sometimes, I used to give up on things I can't do at all. I will try sometimes. After that, I feel like it's too hard for me to compile. So, I will give up and go to bed. I will start scrolling again. Meanwhile, I have been thinking that I should be like him. I shouldn't give up at all. I should be more dedicated to the work I have been tasked. I am wondering why I can't do that. So, it's because of my lack of mental fortitude. Now, I am trying to be just like him. I am focusing on my goals. I am sticking to it. Unless I learn it, how to do it, I didn't give up at all.

One of my childhood friends, Shruti, Shruti Singh, she has a very good, she, from the childhood days she had a very good habit of reading, reading anything, reading newspaper, articles, journals, reader's digest, reading novels and till date she is still continuing with the reading habit. I really like the habit, I feel and I find the habit very interesting and it's a very good routine habit to read books, to read something and to be updated with the information, to be updated with the worldwide information. Also I am looking forward to inculcate this book reading habit in my daily routine because I want to improve my language skills, not only my language, I am also looking forward to improve my knowledge about various topics. I want to improve, enhance my intellect about various other subjects. So I need to really take up this book reading habit sooner or later, as soon as possible and maybe in the near future. So book reading is really very interesting, it's very helpful, it calms you, it relaxes your mind and it helps you to concentrate in your activities.
