I like to taste different types of cuisine. Here I would like to talk about my favorite dish at my traditional festival of Onam which is Sadya. Sadya is popular in my city. We are experimenting these cuisines on Onam festival day. Onam is a famous festival in my city. All family members get together in my home and we make a delicious Sadya. There are many ingredients includes that Sadya. Moreover, we make a big feast that day as well as we create a lot of memories together and we wear that day the traditional dress called Sari and men wear the Dhotis. That festival is really important to us because the whole day we are conducting different kinds of games at our homes and all the family members came together. It's a memorable day in my life. This is the festival. We are making the Sambar and Aviyal. These all the kinds of foods are making with the vegetables.

The toy which I liked in my childhood was a panda doll, which makes me pleasant and makes me more blush. The pandas are the most beautiful creatures of the world, which looks gigantic and has pooshy cheeks and they are like stars in the clouds and they dream in me. Furthermore, these have been given by my father. My father is a very very beautiful artistic person, who makes me think of that. Every day you will face every difficulties and make you suffer and move forward. Pandas are always seen in Japanese countries. It is my lifelong dream to visit a Japanese country and click a photo with the original pandas, which makes sounds better.

As India is a very large country full of diversity, so there are many places which have their own language and speak their native language. The place which I visited and I didn't know about their language was Leladakh, which is about 300 km away from my hometown and it is a very good place as it consists of different kind of trees, animals and have many scenic views and I visited over there last year in summers as it was the best time to visit because it has many, it was cold over there and we had summers in our area so it was the best time to visit over there and I went over there with my whole family.

When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

My old friend Ria has a great habit of waking up early in the morning to go for a jog. She's been doing it for a couple of years and I really admire her dedication. This habit keeps her energetic and helps her stay focused all day. I want to develop this habit because I often wake up late and feel unproductive. If I could start my day early like her, I'd have more time to exercise, plan my day and stay active both mentally and physically. The friend I am going to talk about now is my college friend and she is with me for like an year or so. So, this friend of mine has a habit of planning her week on the Saturday evening. Every Saturday or Sunday evening, she sits down with a pen and a book and plans her complete week from Monday to Saturday. She has a priority list for each and every task. She classifies them as most important, less important and can be conducted afterwards. This helps, this classification helps her to make her week more fruitful and this also helps to organize her work and I would like to inculcate this habit because this habit not just makes you more focused but it also nullifies all the unwanted tasks and makes your week more productive and efficient. It also helps you to be, make a better career and it also helps you in other aspects of your life like studying, focusing on your job and your side business if you have any. So, this in general helps you in your personal and professional life.

One of my friends has this habit of working out regularly and I admire this quality in him very much, moreover not only does he workout in the regular sense of the word like going to the gym etc. but he also varies his workouts such as adding other types of exercise like bicycling running and swimming etc. I think working out is very important in one's life and I have always appreciated how well he works out and how regularly he is at it. Apart from that I think working out has several other benefits like improving your overall lifestyle, it gives you a sense of confidence when you have a great physique and working out or exercising regularly helps you build a great physique. In addition to that regular exercise can also improve your mental health. I've noticed all these good qualities build in him as he continued to use his body regularly and put it to stress and build it and I wish I could be as regular as him at exercise and not only that but I also love how he never skips a day when he is working out.

One habit I want to learn from my friend is writing. My friend Hajara is an author and a journalist for a popular journal media. It's called The Wire. She is a researcher under the journalist Karan Thapar. She is known for her exceptional writing, consistency and politically critical articles. In fact, I would argue that Haju probably would have more than 50 articles written by far and this is in the span of last 2 years. I would say I like or I favour this particular habit because I would want to create and write articles, reports and blogs similar to Haju. I believe that with a lot of practice and a lot of skill development this can be achieved. Though I would say Haju is more talented hence I would have to put in extra effort to reach the same goal as Haju. Similarly, I also find it fascinating how Nandu, my other friend, is able to write with a lot of wisdom.

A habit of my friend that I want to develop is waking up early and exercising. So my friend, she is my roommate and she has set her mind that she will wake up every day around 7.30 to 8 in the morning and do at least one hour of Zumba or Bollywood dancing. So what I find attractive about this is I am a person who loves dancing. Usually people tend to get lazy when we think of exercise, right? But if we can do exercise by inculcating something that we are fond of, I think we will definitely get up every day and do it. And these days, after a hectic schedule and sitting in front of the computer for long hours, it turned into cows and mouse potatoes. So as a result, our body needs exercise. So I feel if I indulge in this practice every day, I will have a better, fitter and healthier body.

So one of my best friend is definitely my husband and he is very disciplined and very organized. Moreover, he is really good at planning things and doing it on time and I would love to have all of his qualities. Because I am a procrastinator and a perfectionist and I don't think it is realistic to always be a perfectionist because you will never be perfect. Secondly, you can make mistakes and thirdly, you can always learn from it. So discipline is one of the things that I really want to borrow from him and then cultivate it in my own personal life and then develop it everyday. I would also love to be an organized person because I am a very messy person when it comes to writing notes or keeping the room clean. Looking at him, he seems to have a space in laptop as well as in the corner of the room to keep things in order and in a tidy neat way. Moreover, it is very important to have these habits ingrained in you for a smooth, better, successful future. One of my childhood friend, Nesra, has a very good habit of time management. She is someone who can manage time like it's her second nature. She is currently studying MBBS, which is basically medicine. One habit that I really admire and would love to pick up belongs to my best friend Arjun, who I have known since our childhood days. The habit I am talking about is his rock solid morning routine. No matter how late he sleeps or how busy his schedule is, he wakes up at 5.30 every single morning without an alarm. He starts his day with 20 minutes of meditation followed by a quick workout and he journals for about 10 minutes before having breakfast. It's almost scary how consistent he is. I have seen this routine in action countless times because we used to live together for 2 years after graduation. Even on weekends or when he had deadlines looming, he'd never skip it. At first I used to tease him calling him a robot but over time I noticed how much it actually transformed his life. The reason I am so keen to develop this habit myself is that the results are impossible to ignore. Arjun is always calm, under pressure, super productive and rarely gets sick. He says the early starts gives him a couple of quiet hours when the world is still asleep and that sets the tone for the entire day. There are various habits that you should learn from other people you interact with. One of the habits that I found very interesting and helpful was from my friend Amisha. She used to wake up early in the morning, like 5 o'clock in the morning and she also used to go to bed very early, like 10.30 or so. I discovered this habit when we were preparing for exams. We had a common exam in our college days, so we used to study together. On one occasion, she had decided to come to my place and we were going to study together and she was going to spend the night in my house as well. At that night, she completed her studies by 10.30 and told me that she is off to bed now and I was surprised to see that how can she go to sleep this early. However, she said that she wanted to wake up early at 5 o'clock and revise all the questions. So, she went to bed early and at that time, I asked her, what does it matter, what effect does it have? She explained it to me that in mornings, the nature is night, you are refreshed by waking up and you take the task and the questions more seriously, you are concentrating more, so it is easier to complete a task and learn efficiently rather than keeping awake at night like an owl and not even getting half the task done and from then onwards, I am trying to implement those habits into myself. She made me realize that not only it helps to study better in the morning but it also helps with her hormonal imbalance and her skin problems and gut problems have all gone because of sleeping early habit. Also that it gives you more room and more time for the day.
