When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Band 6-7

Habit plays vital role in every individual's life. With the help of this, they can easily achieve their goals. Today I am going to talk about a habit when I applied in my life. It is none other than I got up early in the morning. I vividly remember that I was studying in 12th standard. During that time, I have a best friend, Abhishek. He told me he got up early in the morning. Due to this, he was maintaining their body and fitness. However, I applied this in my daily routine and I felt more active and awareness of the fitness body. Moreover, I felt on cloud nine to applying it in my daily routine. It was a very beneficial for me because due to this, I felt more energetic and it helps to maintain our body temperature, breathing and it also helps to reduction of the stress level and it improving the mental strength.

Band 6-7

The friend that I want to develop a habit from is my college best friend, I met her in college and we've been very close since then. The habit that I want to develop is time management. We recently had an argument about this issue where we were working on a hackathon together but I couldn't dedicate sufficient time to complete the given tasks by her. This led to an argument where she felt that I wasn't able to prioritize so I feel that it's very important to develop time management. I would try to develop this by first prioritizing all the tasks and then dividing equal time upon each task and also ensuring that all these tasks are completed. I feel if I work on my time management skills, there would be less arguments, at the same time I would be able to finish all my tasks and dedicate proper time and it would be something out of my comfort zone. I am not a person who can multitask or dedicate time to a lot of stuff at the same time. Hence, I feel time management is very important.

Band 6-7

Well, one of my very close friends, Abhishek, has this habit of going to the gym regularly and that is something he has developed over the years. He is really into fitness and that thing shows on his personality and the way he communicates and his body language. So that is something which I would love to involve into my daily routine as I have been recently gaining a lot of weight and I think that is not something really healthy. So I want to lose weight and, you know, just give some time to myself for exercise and just be a better version of myself. So I think that is something that would really help me to become a better version of myself. And other than that, I think that also will help me to concentrate more on other things as I believe he does yoga and meditation. I think that also will help me to focus, increase my focus on other stuff as I have heard there are a lot of advantages of yoga and meditation. Furthermore, that will improve my lifestyle and the way I live. So, yeah, these are the two things which I really believe if I develop into my daily lifestyle, I will be somewhat better.

Band 6-7

Yeah, it's quite an intriguing question. The habit which come to my mind is a habit of learning new things and eagerness towards complex tasks. This habit I found in one of my college friend and his name is Santosh and he usually have a tendency to learn new things and learning a complex task or hectic task is a piece of cake for him. I am not an easy learner but although I tried to mimic him by learning complex task but usually it's not my cup of tea. But anyway I try like him to learn new things and I am always eager to tend to follow him in his path. But then I came to remember that although his path is unique and I can't able to exactly mimic what he can able to do right. I need to think for myself and I just fine tune the habit by learning new things which I like. So the habit of learning new things became deviated and I just modified the habit to suit myself. I think everyone should have this habit because most of the people are fine with what they have. But I like to share that learning new things and become an out of the box thinker is quite good because it will help them to think independently and make an innovative approach to an ideas or questions. I hope that most of the people like this habit and I will make sure to follow this habit and I want to learn more about myself.

Band 6-7

The habit my friend has is she won't waste her time while doing things in the house. Every time she will spend her time with the books. While reading the books we get so much knowledge and I like that quality of her. The way she spends her time with the books. I also want to do that but my mind will get stuck while doing that activity and I want my mind to improve for that. Every time she has recommended me a new book to read and to understand what does the writer want to say. The main motive of reading the books is to get to know what the writer has wrote in it and what is the main motive what the writer wants to explain us. While reading the books we can improve our vocabulary, grammatical errors, whatever we have. For this I want myself to put some time and to take out the time for reading the books. I like this quality of her. While reading the book she shared some of the phrases with me and sentences that she liked and I just liked it. But when I take the book and sit for reading my mind gets stuck and it starts headache. For this reason I won't read the books much but in future if I get the chance of reading a book for sure I'll not leave that chance. I feel happy while reading.

Band 6-7

My best friend, she advised me to think from heart rather than think from mind or think being rational. She advised this to me because I'm a very practical and a very rational person. I am generally right and that's my problem. Being right is not the complete picture or complete part of the solution. You need to understand the feelings of the person who is standing next to you in order to get your job done. I need to embrace this habit of being a little bit emotional because although things work with irrationality a lot, in order to get people or make people work with things, you need to embrace, you need to connect to them emotionally. Without getting connected to them emotionally, the work is not, they will not be ready to do your job unless and until they are in right state of your mind. And in today's world, connecting emotions is one of the most important things because people are very lost. Everyone knows rationality is a very important aspect of your life, but when you think with your heart or when you embrace some emotional conversations with people, they get comfortable around you and they are willing to talk to you with all their problems and then you can make things work. I want to learn this thing in order to improve my relationships with people because to the world I'm a very rational, harsh and cruel person. What I actually mean of being is I'm a very grounded and practical person who prefers making things work. But it's again, I need to learn the lesson that always making things work is not the right approach to life. In order to build meaningful relationships and networks, I need to connect with people emotionally, then only they will be willing to do or sacrifice a lot for me when I'm in need or else I can't make friends or I can't make connections at all.

Band 6-7

My best friend is an air hostess, so she has a quite customer pleasing attitude. She has endless patience and that is something I want to learn from her. She could be in the toughest of the situation with the most difficult of the people and yet she will have a smile on her face and still try to situate, ease the situation calmly in the most effective manner as possible. And I think any person who has calmness and patience will be able to approach any situation and find solutions and that is why I want to learn this from her. I really wish I had this because I am someone who loses patience quite often and then I am stuck in a situation that could easily be solved if only I had kept my head calm. But I did not and that's why I want to learn this from her. She always, always has a smile on her face and that's another thing I want to learn from her. I think it's a subsidiary of your first one and that is having endless patience.

Band 6-7

Every individual has their own habits and behavior and there are certain behaviors that others possess and we would like to practice that habit as well. For example, back when I was in my 12th grade, I had a friend who was really bright at studies and he used to have a stick protein and have it. And he used to keep all the details of books and journals he read and that was a really fascinating sight for me. And while watching the habit of him, I really want to experience that habit by performing it by myself.

Band 6-7

So, the habit which my friend have currently is about listening and observing to people. Listening and observing to people really help them to grow in life. So as an extrovert myself, I really try to keep the people not talk in front of me and thus I make them quiet often. So in order to get loudest in the room, I make them quiet and we try to be loudest in the room. So that's why he is more absorbent plus he listens better and his listening skills are much better than me. So that's why.
