I am fond of watching cricket. The first time I remember watching cricket was when I went for vacation to my father's home. There I saw my grandma very excitedly watching cricket and she was sitting in front of the television all day long just to get the runs and the wickets. I was just curious to know how she is so excited. I have never seen her so excited for anything else. Not only my grandparents, my parents are also very anxious about watching cricket. I also remember those days when it was our World Cup and India lost World Cup and they were feeling so devastated. I was like, what happened? Why they are like this? And later I came to know the craziness of this sport. I also became addicted to it and I still remember the day when I was sitting all night, I was drinking coffee to keep me along to watch the whole World Cup in which India won the World Cup in 2011. That was a mesmerizing moment and I feel lucky to have at least witnessed it through television on live. Then I was able to understand how people are turning crazy for this sport. But later on now, I am just preoccupied. I don't have much time to watch sports. But still, those times, they are great.

I would watch cricket live at a stadium to experience the electric atmosphere with the crowd's energy, cheers, and thrill of being part of a passionate fanbase. The live action, fast-paced movements, and the collective excitement make it unforgettable. However, watching on TV or through streaming services is also great as it offers close-ups, replays, and insightful commentary. Cricket is played between two teams, each with 11 players. The team that bats tries to score as many runs as possible by hitting the ball and running between the wickets or hitting boundaries. The bowling team tries to dismiss the batsmen by getting them out through various means like bowling them out, catching the ball, or running them out. The game has different formats, test matches, one-day internationals, and T20s, each with its own unique style and pace. I feel cricket is an incredibly dynamic sport that requires both mental and physical endurance. The strategy involved, from field placements to batting orders, keeps me engaged. Whether it's the slow build-up of a test match or the high-energy movements in T20s, cricket offers a variety of experiences. It's a game of patience and skill, and watching the tension build as a match progresses is what makes it so exciting. The unpredictability of the game, where every ball can change the course of the match, is what makes it so thrilling. I enjoy the slow build-up of suspense and the excitement of big movements, like a game-changing wicket or an explosive boundary.

Follow up questions

What do you think makes cricket different from other sports?
Cricket's unique combination of strategy, skill, and the varying formats sets it apart. Unlike many sports, it has a slower pace in formats like Test matches, allowing for deep strategic play. The mental endurance required, along with the unpredictability of each ball, adds to its distinctiveness.

How do you feel about the role of technology in watching cricket?
Technology enhances the viewing experience significantly. With close-ups, replays, and analytics, it provides insights that enrich understanding. However, while technology offers convenience, nothing compares to the live atmosphere and the thrill of being part of the crowd during a match.

Can you describe a memorable cricket match you watched?
One memorable match was the 2019 World Cup final. The tension was palpable, with both teams performing exceptionally. The match went down to the wire, and the excitement of the last over, followed by a super over, made it unforgettable. The atmosphere was electric, and it showcased cricket's unpredictability.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Ever since I was a child, I had a predilection towards watching cricket. Cricket is not just a sport, but it's a feeling. I remember going for get-togethers where India used to play a certain match series with some country like Pakistan or Australia, who are supposed to be the most competitive countries in terms of cricket against India. The most important reason why I like watching cricket is that it has deep-rooted memories of coming together and watching it with my parents. Also, cricket is the most widely played sport in India. There are so many organizations which fund the promotion of cricket to be aired on different televisions. One of my close friends is a cricketer. He plays for Bihar and is trying his best to move into the Nationals for the league. I know how hard and how tough is the training that one has to do in order to get into the National teams. I personally enjoy watching cricket because it is a game of perseverance as well as a lot of vision goes into it. The captain has to take some serious steps when he is on the ground in order to make sure that his team plays well.

Sports are necessary in everyone's life. Because of it, many people overcome their health issues such as obesity and their heart blockage etc. The sport I would like to mention here to watch is Coco. Because I am a sports enthusiast, I also won many competitions in sports like Coco football, Kabaddi etc. But why I will choose this game? Because I am a national player of it too. And this game is played between two opposite teams. One team will enter with their three people whom the opposite team have to chase by sitting between the two poles. The eight squares are being placed in between the two poles and that the people are alternatively sitting in the opposite direction. That made me so nostalgic because it reminds me of the old days of my training when I used to give myself to the game. And I was so appealing to it that I have not left any stone unturned being the super fast player of the game. And I was rewarded by many trophies those days as well as many people willingly gave me appraisal for being such a good sports person due to my sports spirit. As well as they gifted me so many chocolates and a small token of love to showcase their appraisal towards me.

I like cricket so much. I am watching the sport on my television. Mostly I would like to watch the India vs Pakistan match which is the El Clasico. Most of the time India is winning. In World Cup India lost only one match against Pakistan. India is the most powerful team in cricket. The sport is played using cricket ball and cricket bat. Each team will have 11 players. While batting two of them will bat from one team and other team players will feed. All the 11 members will be in the field and they will feed. So usually the batting side will have 10 wickets and the bowling team has to take down them one by one. Usually there are 3-4 matches in cricket. One is Test which is 5-a series and second one is 50-50. They will have 50 overs and 1 over 6 balls each. Next part is 20-20. I said the same like 1 over will have 6 balls. So the rules are the same for 50-50 and 20-20. But in Test match there is

In fact, it is the largest stadium in the world which is called the Narendra Modi Stadium situated in Gujarat which is a state in the country India. I would like to watch the sport there because the sport is very interesting to watch and overall there is so much enthusiasm of people watching cricket because there are people from both the teams. So contrastingly people support their team and encourage them to play. So cricket is played between two teams. One team gives target to the other team by batting or bowling first and other one should compete it or not. Cricket has been the most watched sport in the country India. People like to watch cricket because every Indian has a sense of patriotism while watching this sport and I would like to watch the final match of Indian India's men cricket final match which is held every year and the world cup is given to the best team. I feel really great about having cricket as a sport I would watch.
