The person I would like to admire the most is David Goggins. He was the person who inspired me during my struggles to achieve my dreams. He is the person who is known for his mentality and mindset. I came across a quote known as, If you are only 40% done when you feel like giving up, which had a significant impact in my life. He was a mentally tough person and he is in his 50s and he has a strong and determined mindset. He can do whatever people ask him to do in terms of fitness. He has accomplished great marathons running for days. He also has the highest number of pull-up records during his 20s and 30s. Unfortunately, the record was broken by some other person by doing 8,000 pull-ups in a day. Despite having such great personalities, he had gone through many struggles in his life.

Follow up questions

What specific qualities of David Goggins do you admire the most?
I admire his mental toughness and resilience. He has faced numerous challenges and has always pushed through, which inspires me to overcome my own obstacles. His ability to maintain a strong mindset, especially during tough times, is something I strive to emulate.

How has David Goggins influenced your approach to fitness?
His story has motivated me to adopt a more disciplined approach to fitness. I now set higher goals for myself and push my limits, just like he did. His quote about being only 40% done when you feel like giving up reminds me to keep going even when it gets tough.

Can you share a personal experience where you applied Goggins' mindset?
Yes, during a recent marathon training, I felt like quitting halfway through. Remembering Goggins' mentality, I pushed through the pain and completed the run. It taught me that mental strength is just as important as physical endurance in achieving my goals.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.
