Answer

When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

I would like to talk about a toy. When I was child my favorite toy was a remote control car. My father gave it to me on my seventh birthday. It was small but very smart. The car was red in color with black wheels and it looked very stylish. I was so happy when I first saw it because I had always wanted a toy like that. I play with this car almost every day. I use the remote to move it forward backward and even make quick turn. Sometime I create a small trunk on the floor using a book and pillows and I enjoy resting the car on them when my friends come home. We also play together and had fun competition. The car need battery and whenever they finish I ask my father to put new ones and my father also joined me sometime and we laughed a lot while playing. This toy was very special to me because it was my first remote control car. It give me happiness and also made me feel closer to my father. My uncle had bought it from Dubai and he had gifted it to me on my birthday. So, we played a lot. Even my friends came to my home every evening, so we played together. The color of the body of that toy was of red color. The interior of that car is very detailed.

In my nostalgic memories, I have lots of toys, but my bicycle is my favourite one because my father gifted it to me when I was very young, at the age of 10. So I discussed with my father that I need a bicycle because some of my friends had already a bicycle. So we used to spend some time in the evening to ride a bicycle. So I just take the seat of a friend of mine and I am very uncomfortable to sit back in the bicycle. So my father gifted me on my 10th birthday and it is red in colour. And when I came out from school, I barely ride a bicycle with my friends for at least 3-4 hours. That was very interesting moment for me at that time. So the things are very blurred to me, but when I see the album of my childhood, my memories got refreshed. And when I see the pictures, I feel jubilant at that time. It feels like I am over the moon. I posted on the Instagram and Snapchat, some of my friends had already liked me very much because I am very cute and chubby in my childhood time. So most of my friends and family members liked it very much and I am the favourite child from all the relatives. And I used to spend my time with my friends.

It was a time of my birthday and my father gave me a car that is very expensive and very good. As well as I was 6 years old when my father gave me this toy as a gift. I liked him very much because it was my first toy from my father that my father gifted me. I liked this toy and I played with it when I was free and most of the time I played with this toy.

When I was 3 years old, one day my father bought me a doll. At that time I was in Oman and I was so happy with that doll. The doll was a blue colored dress and hair tied as two parts and it looked so beautiful. I used to play always with that doll because while sleeping also I used to sleep with that doll. I used to cover it with blanket and all with me. I was having a good attachment with that. I used to teach them. I used to sometimes beat with the stick. I think it was a good memory too. I always wanted to sleep with that but also when my brother takes that, I feel so angry because I was so connected to that. I don't like anyone touching my doll, specifically that one because it was so beautiful. I still remember the doll because it's a bit bigger one. It was 2 or 3 feet so it was bigger than me I think. I still like that doll and I am so sad that I don't have that with me right now. I should have saved it for future but I didn't so the doll gave me so much of good memories. If I look into my childhood, that is the only thing that I always remember. Thank you.

Band 6-7

Yeah, the toy which I loved the most during my childhood is one of a toy that was inspired from Toy Story and it was gifted by one of my dad's friends, Guddu Maman. And I used to play with it very frequently. It was like a transparent box where we had a cave-like structure and also a ping-pong. We have to adjust that ping-pong near the button and then when we press it, it will just jump to the cave. How many times we can do as per we can score more. More than the toy, what I used to love is, this toy had a very good place in our family. I used to play with it with my parents and siblings. When we used to take rounds, my dad always scores the top scores. But at times, he also let us win because he wanted to see our happy faces. And how we used to play is that, first he will adjust the ball to the button, my dad, and he will play. He used to take boss scores till 20 in one round and we all will be like 15, 16 and all. My mom was also a good player in this. I'll be always grateful to Guddu Maman for gifting me that toy because now I'm 21 and I still remember how I used to be happy with that. That was such a cute toy which I used to keep with me in a very recent years.

Band 6-7

To begin with, I have interest on so many toys in my childhood and I enjoyed playing with different types of toys also. But to be honest, I liked the remote control car which was gifted by my uncle who is presently residing in Dubai. He sent me the toy while I am studying my 7th standard and the toy is a remote operated car which is very big in size. It just not looks like a toy, it looks like a very huge vehicle. But after that, I have played with the toys so many days. After 2 years, the toy was just damaged. That is a different scenario. But the toy was included with so many features like playing music and also it has lights. We can use that lights also for dark areas and it is a remote control car which is run on batteries which are chargeable. So everyday morning, I use it to charge the batteries and go to school and when I come back I use it to play with the toy in the evening hours. Similarly, daily I would do these things with the toy and however, the toy has given me lot of experience of driving the toy cars. But on the other hand, the toy has also have so many advantages on my role just giving me some relaxment and also helped me to increase my creative brain also.

So, the first toy and the toy I like the most in my childhood is the Barbie doll. My father gave it to me as a birthday present, so I really like the doll and I often play with it like almost daily when I come home after my school. I enjoy you know dressing it up and doing different activities with the doll like cooking and making crowns for it. So, the toy I like the most in my childhood is Barbie doll. It was given to me by my father on my birthday. So, it was a really nice doll with a mermaid tail I remember. I cherish this the most. I used to play with it almost daily especially when I come back from school and I still remember you know I got excited to come back home to play with it. I usually enjoy you know dressing it up, making different dress for my doll and playing with it like doing kitchen activities. So, later on I got interested in Barbie movies because of the doll I got and I also got interested in buying different kinds of Barbie dolls. So, I often cry to get me more from my parents and I also tend to go for toy stores only for Barbie dolls. And I often quarrel with my brother also because he was kind of annoying at that time because he used to pull out my toys and you know hide it somewhere. That's the to be honest a very cold childhood memory for me. Mostly the toys I play with are the Barbie dolls to be honest not like teddy bears or like craft and all this stuff. This has a very unique memory with me and especially one thing I'd like to highlight is that the Barbie hair. I used to braid the Barbie hairs as if I am going to braid my own. So, I have this cute memory with my cousin. She was pretty much older than me like 10 years and then we both used to braid the hair of Barbie dolls and it was a really fun activity for us. We used to decorate with different flowers and also we give it a crown. So, yeah it's a really nice memory.
