When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

One of my favorite childhood toys was the remote controlled car. I loved the thrill of making it zoom across the room, dodging furniture and trying to master tricky turns. It wasn't just about driving it around, it felt like I had control over something exciting and fast. I would set up a little obstacle course and race against imaginary opponents that used to be really fun. It was gifted by my father from London. The best part was when I got outside to take it, where I could test it and speed on different surfaces. It sparked my love for gadgets and problem solving, making it more than just a toy, it was an adventure. And moreover, another childhood toy I loved was the lego set. I could spend hours building houses, cars and even random creations that didn't make sense but felt exciting at that time. The best part was the endless possibility, it wasn't just about following the instructions but coming up with my own designs. I also had a stuffed animal that I was really attached to, I even named it lolly. It was soft and comforting and I used to take it everywhere. At night, I'd imagine it protecting me from the monsters under the bed. Even now, looking at stuffed toys bring back the nostalgic warmth. Another favorite was the board game. Like you know the business we played, playing with family made it so much fun especially when everyone got competitive. Winning felt like an achievement but even losing was fun because it meant more rounds to play. I had quite a few childhood toys, barbie dolls and dream houses. I loved dressing them up, styling their hair and creating little stories. Sometimes I'd make my own furniture for them using cardboard and fabric scraps. It felt like building a tiny world of my own. I had a specific craze for these hot wheels cars and trucks. Even though I loved dolls, I was equally obsessed with racing cars. Setting up loops and ramps for my hot wheels was so exciting, I'd race them against my friend and even give my favorite cars names. Then I used to have these doctor sheds, pretending I was a doctor was one of my favorite pastimes. I would treat...

A toy which I used to really love in my childhood was actually a stuffed toy. It was actually a teddy bear. I have a core memory with that teddy bear where I used to have it around me almost all the time. I used to protect it so much from my friends around and I used to carry it everywhere. Reflecting back it seems like it was something which I owned a really, I mean I used to have a really good attachment with it and I was always afraid when someone actually told me to share it with others. So I guess a toy is a very important factor in every kid's life and this soft toy of mine, I have it till now with me in my home and that's something I cherish it till today.

One toy I really loved as a child was a remote controlled car. My father gave it to me on my 7th birthday and I remember being over the moon when I saw it. It was bright red, shaped like a sports car and came with a small black remote that had two buttons, one for moving forward and one for turning. I used to play with it almost every day after school. My friends and I would race our toy cars in the park or in the living room and sometimes we'd even build small tracks using books and cardboard boxes. I was very careful with it and made sure that the batteries were always charged because I didn't want it to stop working. I liked the toy a lot because it made me feel independent and adventurous. It wasn't just a toy, it was like a little machine that I could control. Even now, whenever I see a remote controlled car, it brings a wave of nostalgia.

One toy I really liked in my childhood was this small piano, pink piano that I had. I think I was about 2 years old when it was given to me and I really loved it. My aunt and my mom always tell me that I used to play with it for hours and I would never share it with my sisters. It was very interesting because it made sounds when I pressed the keys. I think I was very intrigued by it as a baby and I have very fond memories of it. I also have a picture of it where I am playing with it along with my sisters. In fact, my aunt still has it. She has preserved it and whenever I visit her, she still shows me the piano. It's a very beautiful reminder of the olden times and how I was just an inquisitive child wanting to learn about something new. Because it was music and every time I could get new sounds from it, it kept me busy and it kept me interested. It was also, I think, not that noisy for my mother because it was a piano and it wasn't too loud. So, they were happy with me playing with it.

I have to say that as a kid, I was not very fond of playing with toys such as cars or soft toys. However, I had a plastic cricket bat and ball which I was very fond of. The reason I like this is because I was more into playing sportive activities rather than the usual kind of activities that kids engage in such as soft toys. I found this toy in a bangle store which was located near my house and I forced my mom to buy me one of those. And once I bought that, I was always glued to the bat and ball. So basically, if you know about cricket, there are two instruments. One is a bat and a ball and you have to hit the ball with the bat. I used to play with my friends and I loved batting. My friends would bowl to me and I would bat for many minutes and then we would exchange the rules. If I didn't find any friends to play with me, I would just use the ball to play with myself. I would throw the ball towards the wall and when the ball was returning to me, I would consider that as the ball that was being bowled to me and bat. Playing with this toy eventually built a passion inside me to play cricket. More than a passion, I would say it was the love for the game and it is still my favourite sport and I still play cricket with my friends. If I was probably not an aerospace engineer, I would have been a cricketer. This is my most favourite toy. In fact, I still have the remains of the toy. It's kind of broken or damaged but I still preserve it in my home. This is my favourite toy growing up because it helped me build a passion and love for the sport which I still engage in.

When I was 8 years old, one of my relatives gifted me a teddy bear. It was a fawn color soft toy with a blue shirt on it. I was really fond of that teddy bear and I would keep it by my side all the time, whether I am eating or sleeping. Since I would stay alone at home most of the times, I perceived that teddy bear to be my companion. I still remember one day, one of my younger cousins had visited my home and wanted to play with my soft toy, but I was so possessive about it that I ended up in a fight with that other kid. I still have the toy, but not with me. I think it is there in the storeroom and sometimes when I visit that room, I do see that toy and all of the memories just rushes inside me and I feel nostalgia.

The favorite toy I had in my childhood was a remote-controlled car. I used to play with it everyday, all the time, whenever I used to get time to be with it. And I used to keep thinking about it almost till it was replaced by another toy. It was given to me by my uncle. He is from the USA and he got me that car from there. And I was really happy when he got me that car. I really remember that memory of owning it as if it was from yesterday. It's one of the best parts of my childhood because it was my first toy ever from the USA. I did have several other toys but that car was really special. It had certain features like, of course, the remote control and the doors would open on their own. It was really fast. It would almost always be recharged really fast, really quick. And it was a one-of-a-kind car because it never used to stop running once it was recharged. It had the capability to climb over any surface because it was a high-torque motor and it had huge tires so it would climb over stairs, it would climb over shoes, it could easily climb over slippers and it had these amazing features.

The toy I really liked playing with during my childhood was something my parents got me, which was a rather interesting one. It was a Beyblade. The Beyblade was blue in color and had a picture of Pegasus on top of it. During that time, the Beyblade was a quite popular television show as well. So having one with me at home was a really different feeling and I loved playing with it. I played with it really often and sometimes me and my friends used to have Beyblade battles and had a lot of fun. Betting on who was going to win or how long a Beyblade would last. Another reason I liked the Beyblade was its distinctive features like the shape and the way it was made and the extra parts that came with the Beyblade which you could attach onto it and accessorize it. It was a really cool toy to play with.

The toy that I most liked as a kid was my remote controlled car. This car was given to me by my uncle who is my mother's brother. The thing that I found most fascinating about this whole concept of remote controlled car is that I could use a tiny remote to control a car which is far away from me and this I found really interesting as a kid. I remember that I used to play with this toy almost everyday with a bunch of my friends. There were a bunch of interesting things I used to do with this car. I remember creating racetracks, tiny little racetracks and obstacles in the path and I would make, I would control this car to go around these obstacles. So this piece of toy motivated me to know more about electronics, about remote controlled cars which also fueled my interest in science and technology as an adult. So I feel this was a really important toy to me.

When I was a young child, my beloved grandfather gifted me a soft, adorable panda toy that became my most cherished companion the moment I was instantly captivated by its beautiful black and white fur, button eyes, and gentle smile. This panda wasn't just a toy, it was a symbol of my grandfather's love and affection. I would carry this special toy everywhere, to school, on family vacations, to relatives' house. Every adventurer became more exciting with my panda by my side, and I would spend countless hours playing, imagining incredible stories, and creating magical worlds. Together, the toy became my most concerned friend, providing comfort during uncertain moments and bringing joy to my childhood. Whenever I hugged the panda, I could almost feel my grandfather's warm embrace and hear his loving voice even now. Years later, this toy remains a treasured possession, representing not just a childhood memory but the beautiful, unbreakable bond I shared with my grandfather. The panda toy is a tangible reminder of his love, kindness, and the precious moments we shared during my early years.
