Tips to answer this Cue Card

1: Being Vague About the Toy

Tip

Describe the toy in detail, including its color, size, and what made it special to you.

2: Neglecting Personal Connection

Failing to explain who gave you the toy and why it was meaningful can lead to a lack of personal touch in your response. Personal stories resonate more.

Tip

Share a brief story about the person who gave you the toy and what it meant to your relationship.

Not Mentioning Frequency of Play

Overlooking how often you played with the toy can make your answer feel incomplete. This detail adds depth to your childhood experience.

Answer

When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

The toy I liked in my childhood is a baby doll. Baby doll is the first toy that I got in my childhood. The person who gave me this toy is my father. He gave it to me and told me that I am his precious daughter so he gave me this. This toy is precious for me and I kept it in a precious place away from any harm or dangerous ingredients and anything that could destroy it. So it has remained until now near my clothes. This toy, I gave her a name. I named her Anna. Anna is still my best friend. I play with it about two hours in a day and then I sleep with it and tell her stories and it records what I say. So I read stories for the doll and then the doll repeats my story for me. This makes me sleep well at night so I am happy with this doll. I thank my father so much for giving me this precious toy. I love it for all of my life.

A toy that I liked in my childhood was a Barbie doll. It was a really pretty doll. And I received it during my, during Christmas. I received it as a Christmas gift. And it was gifted to me by my mom and dad. It was a really amazing gift because the packet contained a Barbie doll along with a few sets of clothes and also some makeup items which was quite exciting when I was a kid. And I used to play with it almost every day. I used to come back from school and play with the doll. I used to have some dress up games with it. And I also took the initiative to stitch clothes for it like really tiny small clothes. I really loved doing that for the doll. Along with that I used to, there was a small comb that came along with the packet so I used to brush up the doll's hair every day and try out new hairstyles. That was something that I really loved. But eventually at the end, at the end I think it got spoiled because I had been using that for almost, for quite a few years actually. And I really enjoyed my time with it but eventually it did, it did get a few marks on it but the condition was quite good and that's why it was passed on to my cousin who was a few years younger to me. I did feel bad giving it off to my cousin even though I had grown up but I had really good memories with the toy. So I think it was a good experience and it was a good gift because I learned a lot.

Well, a couple of years, my grandfather bought a doll toy for me. I think I was in the fifth standard. My birthday, that was my birthday, my surprise gift from my grandpa. So that time I had a lot of happiness and I was excited and thrilled. I'm very fascinated about dolls because sometimes I act as a mother for playing that type of toys. Then I often play with the toy whenever I get free time and after I'm getting my school. Then after that time, till the ninth time, I played with my toy because that was my favorite. My cousin brother had a lot of bus, auto types of toys, but I don't like. I like only the human. The main thing is that the human being like the arms, legs, eyes, toes. Additionally, the main thing is that the features of the toy, the doll is very vibrant. I think these are light pink color dolls and big eyes, pink chubby nose. And the main attraction is that the curly hair. So I'm very much for looking that doll. Whenever I go to my birthday.

Put a muted video out really soon after this since I have lost track Now is a crucial part of everyone's childhood and I can recall and if I have and if I talk about my favorite toy that I like the most in my childhood it was and I recall the toy that I like the most in my childhood it was toys are a crucial part of everyone's childhood if I recall my the toy that I like the most in my childhood I remember when my father got it from a shop and I unpacked and saw that it was an toy elephant I was on cloud 9 literally because elephant is my favorite animal and I used to wear my clothes and my day-to-day toys are a crucial part of everyone's childhood if I recall the toy I like the most in my childhood it was a toy elephant my father got that for me from a nearby shop when I unpacked and saw that he gave me an elephant I was on cloud 9 as elephant is my favorite animal moreover it I loved it so much that I it no one could separate it from me I used it I needed it while sleeping while eating and even while bathing and I used to spend the major part of my day with it toys are something that every child is severely addicted to because they are so playful and right now we can see that there are some gender perceptions present while gifting a toy or imagining a child like if there's a girl people generally like to give her some doll or kitchen wares or housing toys and boys are gifted sports cars bikes helicopters etc but we are gradually overcoming this common perception of genderizing the toys and it's good because many people can generate a lifelong interest from their childhood toys itself like people who are fond of their sports cars or bikes want to pursue their career becoming an sports person in the field of racing bike racing and car racing etc

I have a lot of toys with me. I used to buy a lot of toys in my childhood but one toy was very special to me. It was a doll with long hair and it actually looked like an actual girl. The reason why I like this doll is because it looks very beautiful. I have a lot of dolls of that kind but the eyes, nose and all the features of the doll looks very beautiful and also it looks very similar to a human. So I always treat that doll as my best friend. I used to even talk to that doll. I asked my father a gift on my birthday and he actually went on a trip so he bought me that doll from there. So it is even more special to me because my dad gave it on my birthday. I always play with that. There is no specific days and all. Whenever I come from school, I used to play with that because that doll has become very favourite to me. I have a lot of dolls but after my dad got that doll for me, that has become very much special for me. I didn't even care about other toys which I had. Just immediately when I come from school, I used to take that doll and start playing. It has hair like a human so I used to put braids and I used to put make-up for the doll. I used to talk with the doll. I treat that doll as my friend. Even now, I don't have that doll right now with me but still now I consider that.

My favourite toy as a child I remember was a pink doll. I vividly remember when my father bought it for me and my sister. I had a pink one and my sister had a red one. We used to keep those dolls to us at all times, even while travelling outside, while visiting a mall, while going to the beach. Moreover, in the night I used to cuddle my doll in sleep. I was obsessed with my doll. I vividly remember one experience. We were at a beach and as usual I was holding my doll. The pressure of the wave was so much that it took away my doll. I started howling. I was like, what will I do with my life? I was maximum four at that time. My father went deep into the beach and found that doll for me and he came outside the beach with the doll in his hand. Oh my god, it is one of the best memories that I hold of my father. We still reminisce that sometimes, that how my father left everything and just because he saw me crying, he went after and got the doll.
