When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

My most famous toy in my childhood, as I recollect, was an elephant. It was gifted to me by my father. I played with it daily and I did carry it around with me wherever I go and whatever I was doing. I remember vaguely that I used to eat my lunch with my elephant beside me. It was this huge toy and it was very fluffy and soft. Although over the years it had become very thin and its fabric started to rip apart. Besides that, it was my favourite companion to have around. I would actually rather not share it with anyone else because he was my best friend. I also did name this elephant toy. I named it Buddy. As the meaning, it was really my buddy. It made my day bright and it made my days very much memorable. I used to play with it. I used to watch TV with it. The first thing that I remember whenever I think of my childhood was definitely this elephant. Over the years, as I said, the fabric was ripping apart. I had to say goodbye to this toy and it was very much disheartening to lose it. Although it was replaced with another toy which was a giraffe which was gifted to me by my mother this time. What I understood was that the elephant was pretty much irreplaceable because I did not have the same joy as I did with the elephant.

So, my favorite toy from my childhood, I would have to say it was a Hot Wheels car. It was a Ford Mustang, red in color. It was given to me by my uncle when I was in Germany. He gave it to me as a welcome gift when me and my parents shifted to Germany. It was manufactured by Mattel and that toy stayed with me for almost 15 years. I used to play with it every day when I was a young kid. Then slowly, slowly I did fall apart with it, but I remember seeing these photos in my childhood photos where I was playing with it. I have memories of sharing it with my younger brother as well. Then once I grew out of it, I kind of lost the toy when we shifted from one apartment to another. I do remember it because it was one of the earliest toys which I had and one which lasted for a very long time as well.

So, the toy that I liked in my childhood would be my Lego set or I generally call it a building block set. My father gifted it to me when I was 5 years old, I guess. So I used to play with it every day, like literally glued to it. But right now, since I grew up, I don't play with it much. But now I've shifted to the adult version of the Lego set, which is like an adult Lego set. So people above 18 years of age, which is quite complicated and it's fun, keeps you busy. the kind of toy that I love, I still love playing with it.

I remember my grandmother gave it to me on my 7th birthday when I was turning 7. It was in the shiny big wrap bag and I totally loved the gift. And I instantly hugged it the moment I opened it. I used to carry it everywhere to bed to two trips even at sleeping.

Yes there is one Barbie doll which I got gifted by my brother on a festival called Raksha Bandhan where a sister ties a tight knot of thread on their brother's wrist. This festival indicates how special the bond of sister and brother is. So basically on that day I was excited because usually we get a lot of money as a return gift from our brother. So I was just over the moon because that was also my favorite festival. When I went to my brother he gave me a doll with a hundred rupees. I was just over the moon and not only that but it was feel like cherry on the cake after seeing the Barbie doll because it was the same Barbie doll I was willing to have it from a 10 or 20 days because I was really small at that time. So I don't have enough savings for my own and I want to have the doll by my own savings so it's feel like a cost around an arm and leg for me. But when I see it as a gift I was just can't explain my feelings I was just laughing and I was just start dancing in front of my family that I got whatever I wish to have it. And that was the most favorite doll in my childhood even I still have the same doll. I usually try my best to save it and to secure it from anyone and from the children of my home so that it will they will not break the doll and it will remain the same as it used

Games play a significant role in a child's life. They add color and beauty to their childhood. Moreover, it helps the children to mould their emotional intelligence and sportsman spirit. As far as I am concerned, toys are not my cup of tea. But whenever I remember about my childhood, there comes the picture of a baby doll. It was gifted to me by my father. He was a person who loves to gift his children. The doll was pink in color, with long hair, and there was a button at the stomach. When you press that button, it will make some amazing sounds, which actually reciprocate what you say to that toy. And I used to play with that doll almost every day. And I remember definitely this particular toy had made me love playing and gaming, but that was during my childhood time. Whenever I used to play something, I will take this doll and I will play with that doll. It actually added my imagination, power and visualization to a very great extent. Nowadays, children are fond of toys and their parents will buy them a large amount of toys. It has...

During my childhood, my favorite toy was Legos. My mother brought it for me and my brother when we were about 6-8 years old. She bought it from my aunt's thrift store. We used to play together, including my friends and cousins. We would have sleepovers and play the whole night instead of sleeping. This led me to my interest in architecture and building and construction, which is what I'm studying right now. I'm a graduate in architectural degree, practicing architecture in Kohima, Nagaland. I still like to play with Legos and my dream toy is still Legos. I have also seen that this type of toy has been developing, the quality has been increasing and unlike before, there's so much more variety, colors, blocks, shapes, etc. We can also now make cars, vehicles, planes, and other type of objects, excluding buildings.

Band 6-7

So I was obsessed with Barbie dolls in my childhood and I had a doll which was gifted by my father. Actually it was not gifted but it was more likely I very much got obsessed and I asked him if he could buy me that doll and then he bought it for me and it was a pink doll. It had pink hair and I really liked to dress her up and all and for a very long time I had that doll. I used to dress her up, make her wear shoes, different kinds of shoes. I was like so crazy obsessed that I used to cut off my mother's sarees to make her new cloths and for which I have got bitten so many times and then I used to make her bath. I would really like to have that one big doll house which I never got in my childhood. That was one of my biggest dream to have it. It was like so huge. It had all the rooms in the house and it was so so beautiful.
