I like to taste different types of cuisine. Here I would like to talk about my favorite dish at my traditional festival of Onam which is Sadya. Sadya is popular in my city. We are experimenting these cuisines on Onam festival day. Onam is a famous festival in my city. All family members get together in my home and we make a delicious Sadya. There are many ingredients includes that Sadya. Moreover, we make a big feast that day as well as we create a lot of memories together and we wear that day the traditional dress called Sari and men wear the Dhotis. That festival is really important to us because the whole day we are conducting different kinds of games at our homes and all the family members came together. It's a memorable day in my life. This is the festival. We are making the Sambar and Aviyal. These all the kinds of foods are making with the vegetables.

The toy which I liked in my childhood was a panda doll, which makes me pleasant and makes me more blush. The pandas are the most beautiful creatures of the world, which looks gigantic and has pooshy cheeks and they are like stars in the clouds and they dream in me. Furthermore, these have been given by my father. My father is a very very beautiful artistic person, who makes me think of that. Every day you will face every difficulties and make you suffer and move forward. Pandas are always seen in Japanese countries. It is my lifelong dream to visit a Japanese country and click a photo with the original pandas, which makes sounds better.

As India is a very large country full of diversity, so there are many places which have their own language and speak their native language. The place which I visited and I didn't know about their language was Leladakh, which is about 300 km away from my hometown and it is a very good place as it consists of different kind of trees, animals and have many scenic views and I visited over there last year in summers as it was the best time to visit because it has many, it was cold over there and we had summers in our area so it was the best time to visit over there and I went over there with my whole family.

When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

One toy that I really liked in my childhood was a teddy bear. My parents gave it to me on my birthday when I was around 10 years old. It was light brown in color with soft fur and a small red ribbon around its neck. I used to carry it everywhere while playing, sleeping and even when traveling. At that age, I treated it almost like a friend because it made me feel safe and comfortable. I liked it so much because it was soft, huggable and it always cheered me up whenever I felt lonely. I still remember naming it teddy and pretending to talk to it. Even though I don't have it now, that toy will always remain one of my sweetest childhood memories.

There is actually a really funny story to my favorite toy in my childhood. So most girls my age, at least from my friends that I know, we all enjoyed playing house house and kitchen kitchen and cooking cooking like those kinds of games when we were kids. So I used to take a lot of vessels from my kitchen, get them to my bedroom, lay them out and you know, pretend that I was a chef or like a housewife cooking. So a couple of days after that, my mom and I entered this toy shop and there was this kitchen set and I told my mom that if you get this for me, I will stop taking your vessels from the kitchen to the room because that used to really irritate her. So then after a lot of begging, pleading, because it was really expensive back then, I really really requested her, I really requested her and then she was convinced. So that was my favorite toy and it was from my mom and I used to play with it every day. I had a friend, Zahaan, who was my neighbor, so I used to call her over as well and we used to pretend that we are chefs in a restaurant because our kitchen set came with a lot of like chicken leg pieces, plates, coffee cups, vegetables. So we would just have like a whole fun evening around that almost daily.

One toy I was deeply attached to during my childhood was clay. It wasn't a typical toy with fixed rules or instructions. It was soft, cool to touch, slightly earthy in smell and endlessly changeable. My sister gave it to me, which made it feel even more special. I remember pressing it between my fingers, feeling it slowly warm up as I worked with it. Sometimes I rolled it into thin coils. Other times I shaped small animals or bowls, even though they were never perfect. I played with clay almost every day after school. It became a quiet habit rather than a loud activity. Sitting on the floor, hands covered in colour, time would pass without me noticing. What I loved most was the freedom it gave me. If something broke, I could simply reshape it. There was no sense of failure, only the chance to begin again. That feeling stayed with me long after childhood.

The toy I like the most when I was a kid was a soft toy. It was a puppy. I named it Sweetie. So it was in two colors, brown and beige. The body was mostly beige, while the ears, nose and a few patches on the body were brown in color. It was a really cute puppy which was presented by my dad for my birthday. It was a very special gift which was given to me on my 5th birthday. Since the day I got that toy, I never left its side. I used to play with it all the time. I even slept with the toy. I still have this toy with me. I have safely kept this toy in my cupboard and I remove it once in a while to get back the memories of childhood.

As a child I used to love this toy which was named Bambi after the Disney character Bambi. This toy was an inflated rabbit unlike the real Bambi which was a deer. So this toy was gifted to me by my father. Back in the days we rarely got toys or anything to play with. It was when he visited fairs and festivals that we got little bounties that he used to bring along. So this toy was one of the most favourites. Unlike traditional toys like a Barbie doll or typical Chanpatna toys which we used to have, this one was quite unique and different. This was something which was very dear to me as a child. Till date whenever I see those inflated balloon toys during temple festivities in Kerala, I get reminded of this one toy which I had as a child.

A toy that I liked to play with in my childhood was a clay making machine. My parents gifted it to me on my 10th birthday and told me that they gave it to me especially because I was a very creative student and I loved to make things, arts and crafts and everything in between. That's why they gave me a clay making machine because they thought that it would improve my creativity skills, my curiosity and my imagination skills. What I liked most about that machine was that it not only improved my artistic skills but it made my creativity even better. I would make so many toys with that clay machine such as keychains, animals, my toys, my school bags and I would use it to play with my friends as well. I would call my friends over to my house and we would play with the clay machine. We would make so many different items and then what we would do is we would put them on a tray and put them in the oven and bake them. That's why the clay would harden into actual keychain objects. We would then laminate the clay toys that we had made and then we would put them into these keychain rings and it would be gifts. It could act like gifts to our friends and all of those things. These are one of my favorite memories from childhood, playing with this toy.

Although I had many toys in my childhood, but the one which I liked the most was a remote controlled car. It was a car in a shape of sedan, which was gifted by my father to me on my 8th birthday. It was red in color. I was very much happy after receiving this gift and I devoted most of my time in playing with it. I used to play it after I came from school and also used to play it on Saturday and also used to play it on Saturdays and Sundays. I still have this car with me. It reminds me of my childhood and nostalgia strikes me whenever I see that car.

It was small, colourful and could move forward, backward and turn left and right. I used to play with it almost every evening after school, usually with my friends in our street. It almost improved my hand-eye coordination and taught me patience because controlling it was not easy at first. That reminds me of the bond me and my grandparents had in my childhood because now I don't have them with me. So it reminds me of the bond we had. Growing up, I played with toys all the time. Being an only child, toys were a constant source of companionship for me. They were more like friends. The most prominent ones that I can remember are, I had two toys. They were like twins. One was called Tinky and one was named Pinky. I would tie their hair, dress them up, keep them with me everywhere, play with them. And even when my cousins visited me over the holidays, I would play with them along with the toys. I also remember having a Barbie set and I would play home. The game was called House House. I would love to design their clothes, love to style their hair. I would enact scenarios with my cousins and then play as if they were in a sitcom. So it was really fun playing with my toys. Though I don't play with them as often nowadays, but I still do miss them. And I hope wherever they are, they are in a good place.
