When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

My childhood favorite toy is named the spinner. I used to play it almost every time. Even while studying I will be using it in my hand. It's like spinning it with just two fingers but I would be practicing with every fingers to make it fun and it was a nice experience for me. Another toy of my favorite is magnet. I used to stick it with iron materials like clips and iron doors and a gate and some other things. I used to place it in top of the mirror while combing my hair so that I can hang my clips in it and while combing my hair I can use it whenever I need it. I used to play it in books placing one magnet on one side and another magnet on the other side of the paper and while swinging the one magnet the other magnet will also swing but it will look like a magic. So I like it when I was a child and I used to play many games and in that a toy named hen. It was like looking like a hen. It will be like kind of battery controlled. It will be nice looking.

My favorite toy was a piggy bank, it was gifted from my grandmother, it was pink color and a dog was there which used to pick the coin or the currency note which was kept over a place and it used to collect all the money which I used to get from my relatives or the visitors who used to visit during those times and later on what used to happen is after certain period of time my mother used to open and count those coins or the currency and collectively she used to get me another toy to play with it. This kept on happening on a regular interval of time and later on what happened is the piggy bank roped. I ended up buying another piggy bank toy from the amount which was collected in the piggy bank during that time. It was a very cherishable moment for me, I still remember and I still own a piggy bank toy with me that was my second toy, the first toy was broken. Yes, there is so many memories along with it.

Barbie doll was the most liked toy of mine in my childhood. It was gifted to me by my parents on one of my birthday. The Barbie doll looks like it used to have brown hair and some pink dress and some sort of pink shoes. So I used to regularly comb the hair of the doll and I used to change the dress and I used to change the shoes like such that they used to match the rubber band and the dress color. And I have stitched a few dresses myself for my Barbie doll as well. And I used to play around 7 to 8 hours with my Barbie doll a day. And from one single Barbie doll, my doll number has been increased to around 10. Almost in my whole childhood there were 10 Barbie dolls I used to play with. And that seemed so productive so that like I used to learn how to dress up the doll and I learned how to stitch dresses for the doll and I learned makeup how I used to do it. And I have styled almost different hairstyles to the Barbie doll. So I think I learned all those activities and I felt that playing with those activities at that time were more productive.

So the thing that I used to play with is a tortoise toy, which is a green color and with yellow stripes on it. Actually I bought it, actually my parents bought it from Wayanad. When we went to Wayanad and we were having a lot of small street shops, we bought it from there when I got into liking it, my parents purchased it and it was around the 4th standard when they purchased it for me and they used to play it for me often and I was more into the so and so and I used to use it because of that and also we had a small tortoise coming around in our home, which is the reason why I wanted to try on a toy as well, I used to sleep with it every other day and now also I have a tortoise, small tortoise toy which I play with, I love its color and it is very cute as well, it's not necessary to make it feel like it's slow or something but it is in order to maintain a bond with myself as to ensure that everything is fine and everything will work out to be perfectly fine. Also, this toy resembles from a movie called Finding Nemo, in that also there was a tortoise who was very generous and also kind enough to take care of other beings around him.

I vividly remember one gift that my father gave me. It was a Barbie doll house. It was, I bleakly remember, but I guess the color of the Barbie doll was, the dress of the Barbie doll was a pink color. And she had long hairs with these blonde hairs. And she used to be a frog. Moreover, the color of the eyes of that Barbie doll was green, which was so mesmerizing. And the time I looked at my surprise as my father gave it to me on my 5th birthday, I was so happy that I jumped into my father's lap and I hugged him. Furthermore, I opened the gift at that moment only. I couldn't wait even for 5 minutes to open that gift. I was so happy seeing a gift from my father. Talking about the time, I used to play with it every day. There wasn't a single day that I didn't play with that doll. And not only me, all my friends in my neighborhood used to play with that doll house. We used to think that it is our house and we used to play with all the dolls. We used to change the clothes of the doll and comb the hair. So it was a pretty good memory that I have. And till date, it was the best birthday of my life. And I couldn't get a better gift than that because that is what I wanted at that time.

My favorite toy back in the childhood is Beyblade where I often played with my with my friends during summer holidays. It was gifted by my grandfather on my on my 10th birthday. It is so special because after a year he got expired. Because of that emotional attachment I still have that Beyblade and I know also I play with them whenever I feel bored. Toys are not only meant for playing they also they also the memory of the ones who you loved.

During my childhood, the most favourite one was a racing car that was bought by my father, which is a small one, that was red in colour. Even though my mother was jealous of that, because she was really afraid whether I will get hurt by those things, I never minded that. It was a time during the work of our new house, so there was no place or an awkward track, was not available to ride the toy properly. And though no place was there, my dad allowed me to ride through the muddy areas of our old house. And of course, I am a crazy driver during the childhood and currently also. I would like to go on a ride like this. So, I think it is the reason why now also I am driving with almost 120 kmph average speed. I have the memories of that childhood car, which made me so a good driver, even though I am not knowing how to ride a car at those times. It is a only single seated car, but I used to carry my sister also, since she is really weightless. Unfortunately, it was broken after two months, I believe so. Not able to catch it.

Band 6-7

I would like to talk about a toy from my childhood which I received during my 16th birthday and it is an off-road RC car. It was a really good and powerful RC car which I used to play with everyday. This was given to me by my dad and I always used to take it to the garden in my home and I used to ride it all over the dirt tracks over there, record stunts while I ride it and I used to do some modifications to the remote control car to make it even more powerful. I always used to look on YouTube videos to how you can upgrade your RC cars. I was interested in a lot of that stuff so I used to keep upgrading my car and I still use the remote control car to this day and it's a gift that is very near to me and I don't think there was any other toy that's as valuable to me as that toy.
