When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

I will not beat around the bush, I will just come straight into the point. Many elders people or even younger people face the problem of obesity. That is more fat, right? And also some heart diseases or etc like that. I saw an article in one magazine called Varanasi Beyond Life, it was in Discovery India. So in that article, they said that you should travel in some spiritual areas, especially the elder ones, because not only you will feel the freshness, because see, mainly the problem comes because of loneliness, right? Loneliness leads to procrastination or laziness etc. So you should travel with your family in some spiritual vibe cities, like for example, they gave an example of Varanasi. Varanasi is one of the oldest and most spiritual cities in India, it's often called the spiritual capital of India, situated on the bank of Ganga river, okay? So in that article, it was mentioned that the Varanasi is famous for its beautiful Ghat, where people gather and take a hold deep in the Ganga river. So what I learned was how it connects the past with the future. So it's basically, it's very important to travel with your family to some region.

When I was reading a magazine, something caught my eye. That was an article on maternal health. Health of a mother should be taken care of from the start, actually even before the start. Whenever a couple is planning pregnancy, they should take strict care of their own health. They should eat healthy and participate in various moderate exercises. Additionally, we are talking about two people here or two lives here, one of the mother and of the babies. So extra effort and care should be put into taking care of a mother and a child. Furthermore, she should get care both at home and at hospital. The article describes about the care given at hospital more, but I personally feel care at home is also important. The emotional connection, the way people around her talks to her, everything is important. Now-a-days, folic acid supplements are given to the

Good afternoon, my name is Shreya and today I'll be speaking on the topic, an article on health that I read online or have seen somewhere. So I would like to start with the topic of the article that I have got and a few minutes back I have read this thing regarding a toothpaste and it's quite concerning because in the toothpaste people are using sweeteners and adhesive colors which can be really harmful for our health, for our tooth health, for everything in general because that's the first thing we do in the morning and before going to bed and when we see something that is like this, it's going to harm our health for sure. Another thing that I have seen recently is that the market is selling fake ORS which is clearly absurd because they are selling it in a very large quantity and after 8 years the court has given the verdict that that brand can stop and has to stop selling it but the brand had appealed to the court that they want to sell the remaining things that is of worth 180 crores and the court approved it. Now it's very concerning because it is regarding the health of such children or anybody who is going to take such ORS which only has food coloring and synthetic chemicals instead of the actual medicine. Thank you.

So, as I belong to a healthcare profession, like I am now a registered nurse, so I am very familiar with this topic, regarding the particular health related articles. Considering this, I often visited numerous websites of healthcare like WHO, MCCB and other public like websites, which was very beneficial for the individuals to take awareness regarding the health issues. So today, I want to describe about the time, when I read health issues like mental health and mental illness, which was more prominent among the adolescents. And now a days, with the societal pressure and many much burdens act as a precaution for them. So, they are more vulnerable and prone to occurrence of some disease conditions like anxiety, depression, then post-traumatic stress disorder and a certain kind of mental disorder problems like schizophrenia. So according to that article, most of the adolescents are commonly influenced by the peer person.

Although I am not someone who reads a lot of articles, but I remember one instance that I was scrolling through Twitter, which is now called X, so I came across an article which was about obesity and diabetes in India. So, as we are aware that obesity and diabetes is an on-growing phenomenon all over the world, but especially in India, it is increasing on the next level. For instance, my father, he has diabetes and my mother, she is on the edge of having diabetes. So, the article, it portrayed that how, like what are the factors which make a person have obesity or diabetes. So, first and foremost, it was the eating habit, as in India, nowadays the youngsters are more often inclined towards the fast food, towards the European food, for instance, burgers, pizzas, fries, chicken fries and everything else. They don't prefer to eat at home. So, that's the one reason that obesity and diabetes is common nowadays, because the oils and the ingredients which the fast food chains use are not that valuable and also they are the elements which cause obesity and diabetes. They use palm oil, they use maida, which is not at all good for our health. Another thing that I came across on that article was that the eating habits. We are not eating intelligently.

Recently, I read a magazine on benefits of everyday exercise in Health Today magazine. I read this article as the headline was really catchy which had a statistic about the number of heart attacks which are caused every year due to lack of exercise. The article described the benefits of regular exercise. Regular exercise helps a person be fit and keeps them in shape. It also reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases such as heart attack. The magazine also accounted some real-life testimonies and stories of people how their health and everyday life improved due to regular exercise. Regular exercise also helps in improving the emotional and mental health of a person by keeping their mind relaxed, refreshed and fresh. By reading the article, I was also motivated to do exercise everyday. I took a pledge that I would walk and cycle everyday for 15 minutes each. I was moved by the article and also encouraged my family to do exercise everyday.

When I was scrolling one day on the internet, I came across an article which says if you eat too much noodles in your dinner time, you may end up in hospital. Your liver will be damaged, it cannot be replaced and it will be very difficult for you to survive. When I saw that post on the internet, the doctor I see a like authentication and verification of a doctor who describes that noodles should be eaten as a snack but with the soda content or some coke with it so that it can be digested. A person named Muzi has eaten too much of noodles in his dinner that caused him liver cancer and when he was admitted to the hospital, it was seen in his case that his liver was damaged due to noodles and the noodles when the doctor was dissecting the liver, he came across that the liver was filled with noodles and he never chewed them. So if you are eating something, you should chew them twice, thrice. We often eat food but we forgot to chew which causes a main problem. I came across that article because my curiosity increased as people around me ate noodles so I wanted them to be safe from it.

I read an article about health on the internet yesterday, and I discovered two main important aspects. Health is not about just diet or exercise. There are two types, one is physical health and one is mental health. Physical health is keeping your body organized, keeping your body systematic, and keeping your body with more nutrients. It relates with your diet, it relates with your exercise, it relates with how often do you make your physical self get chained and not slack behind. And then comes mental health. Mental health is more about the people you converse with, the identity who you are, the way you think, the way you perform, and the way you think about others. Mental health is formed by others, but you have control over yourself, but physical health is mainly about you, how you treat your body. No one can influence the way you treat your body in any physical manner. It's only the mental way which I influence, but again, you are your own king. You can control yourself better than how others control you. If you know who you are, being self-aware is the most important thing to be healthy. You should be the leader of yourself, you should be a CEO of your life, and you should be the start-up of yourself. If you are all this, automatically your health improves, not just physically, but mentally too. If your mental health is better, you should know how to control, automatically your physical health also gets better. For example, what I found interesting was, if you control your mind into saying, sugar is bad for you, and you're determined and consistent in order to quit sugar, and if you're disciplined enough, then automatically your physical health starts improving, because once you cut sugar, you cut upon the fat that you consume, or if you cut down oils. If you're determined, disciplined, and if you respect yourself, automatically your health improves.

So, there was one article that I saw in the Instagram. It was basically from the BBC website which had a link also to go to the website. This took place when I was going back to Gujarat for my work purpose from my hometown. I was randomly scrolling through Instagram and accidentally found this post named Alcohol Conception and Health Issues. As we all know, alcohol causes health issues. So, I was curious what they will be talking about in this article. And I was just reading through the caption and saw that even occasional alcohol consumption can also cause health issues. That made me curious. Because many of my friends were arguing that drinking occasionally doesn't lead to any health issues because we are not consuming it daily. We are only taking it once in a week or once in a month. So, it doesn't cause that much of a health issue. So, I went to the website and read the full article. In that article, a doctor was saying that even drinking a single glass of alcohol can cause severe health issues even though we are not a regular drinker or alcoholic. And it made me realize that even having drinks for parties and in any type of celebrations will have huge effect in the future. Therefore, I sent it to my friends and put it in my family gang which consists of every family members. And many of them realized the consequences that drinking can cause even though it is taken place occasionally and not regularly. Some of them even quit drinking after reading this even though it was occasionally.

I would like to talk about the article I read on the internet the other day. It was the difference between the cardiac arrest and the cardiac attack in the patients. The cardiac attack was when the patient's heart gets attacked and they get sweating and the pain in the chest and arm, the urge to feel like using a toilet. But on the other hand, in the cardiac arrest, the heart just stops beating. It just does not show any heartbeat and it is relaxed in its own peace. Which gives me a thing that we can actually save a person having a heart attack but not saving a person having a cardiac arrest because of the shortage of time frame. There is almost 80-90% chances of saving a heart attack person. But there is no or minimal chances by giving a CPR to a cardiac arrest person. That was the article about and I found it really helpful because we are not able to differentiate between the cardiac arrest and the cardiac attack which is actually important. So we can save other people, person's life if we see through the symptoms. Thank you.
