When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

The most important thing I do when I get back home from work is meditation. I invest half an hour or more than an hour to prepare myself for that. I have a room, it's a bit of a dark room, I made it for that purpose only. So I go there, I sit down comfortably, relax my mind, focus on my breathing, and I just sit there for sometimes 10, 20, 30 minutes. It gives me mental clarity, it soothes my mind, it gives me the focus that I need for the next day. If I'm tired or my mind is tired, it gets mental clarity, mental peace, it's all about those stuff. Furthermore to that, whenever you do meditation, it connects you spiritually also. So whenever you do that, you have a more enhanced version of spirituality. So it connects me well, and if I have to say how I feel about it, it's just more sorts of something that I would do every day. I suggest most of the people, because it gives you something that you don't often find in your normal life.

Physical activities are getting lower nowadays. We have to overcome this. So students should do some physical activities after their school. Today I would like to say a few words about an activity that I do after my school. I went from school after 5 p.m. and I go gym on 6 p.m. and do some cardio muscular exercise and return back to home. I know the importance of physical activity nowadays. It helps to maintain our overall health conditions and prevent getting sick and no need to go to any hospital. Thank you.

The activity that I have recently taken up and love doing after returning from work is reading. So there is a designated reading spot at my house and I have made sure that these spots are filled with numerous books and novels. This is the first thing that I do after coming back from home. I search different books and I pick up the most exciting and the most thrilling book that I could find and I start reading. After doing so since the past few years I have realized that I have gained new insights in how writers minds behave.

My name is S. Pagashkumar. I am from Tamil Nadu, Chennai, India. I have so many hobbies like watching movies, playing cricket, playing tennis and workout in gym, travelling etc. But in specific, I would like to mention the workout in gym and travelling. After my school work, I usually visit my nearby gym to boost up my energy and concentrate on my cardio and fitness. It helps me in many stages like controlling my emotions, controlling my physical fitness etc. I usually use to meditate first 5 minutes and last 5 minutes to control my all feelings. I do it with my school friends and street friends because we are grown up in close circle. We grow up in the same street and we go to school to the same place and after school also we spend time in same way. Recently I visited Mysore, Mysore Palace, Coorg and Vandala in Bangalore. In Vandala, I enjoyed all the rides and especially the rainy dance. I enjoyed it much. I went that trip with my friends who are studying in my college.

After my school, when I returned back to my home, I always started with taking a complete bath. Then I go to my mother and then sit with her in the kitchen while she was preparing my tea and snacks. That is one of the greatest memory that I have ever in my life because that is the activity that I would love to do. Even if there is no school and especially after a school, I would like to spend my time with my mother by explaining all the stories that has happened throughout the school from morning till evening. I start by all the minute details that has happened in that day. I explain everything to my mother and she prepares me mouth-watering tea and snacks where I will consume it and explain it to her. Although I am no great help for her in the kitchen but still she loves listening to my stories and I am a great storyteller so she always wanted to know what has happened in my life.

After school I would engulf myself in various activities like dance and cooking. Dance is my hobby and I grew up by seeing my sister learning a semi classical dance form. By looking at her I automatically got addicted to classical form and as a result I decided to master dancing as an art. I joined Hemang Rattekala Mandir which is near to my school and currently I am at the level 6 of dancing. I am guided by one of the renowned dancer Mr. Joshi. Semi classical dance form is a representative of Indian culture and we are expressing various characters via dance. In Hindu mythology for example, character of Radha Krishna love story is best example. Lately I posted my own dance choreography on Piya Tose Naina Lagere dance form on Instagram and I got lots of likes and comments on that performance. I would love to dance with my sister. People said whenever me and my sister dance together we are literally setting a stage and we are putting stage on a fire. My work hours are from 9 o'clock from 9 p.m. to 5 p.m. The moment I return home around 6 o'clock I go to the pool which is downstairs of my society. I have a good long swimming session of at least one and a half hours. The things that I like to do when swimming is freestyle, backstroke, breaststrokes and butterfly.
