When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Last time, I went on a memorable excursion with my school friends to Jim Corbett National Park. I got really excited as I heard that it was mainly prominent for the amount of tigers present over there. So I got really excited that I am going to witness a tiger roaming freely in the forest. But as I commenced my journey on a safari jeep, I saw about 4 or 5 wild hogs. But the problem here was that's the only animal that I saw in the entire trip. I got really disappointed mainly because of the fact that I couldn't see the tiger. But the fact that my friends saw a tiger with 4 cubs sprinkled salt on my injury. But after that, we went to Nainital which was right above the hill near this Jim Corbett National Park. Over there, I witnessed a leopard roaming freely not even in a forest. It was right beside my resort and I got scared to the spine. But the next day, we went to the high altitude zoo park in Nainital and it basically made me cry because all the animals are confined to a limited space and the tiger cage was really small. That was the size of my bedroom which is about 250 to 300 square foot. I think a tiger needs to have at least about 800 to 1000 square foot to roam freely and

The place where I saw animals was at a zoo named Sri Venkateshwara Zoo located at Tirupati. So we happened, our college took us to a educational tour to that zoo. In my fourth year, I happened to see a lot of animals like lion, tiger, monkeys, exotic species, bear, leopard, Bengal white tiger and so many. It was my first experience to see that many wild animals and some of the exotic animals too, mostly birds and reptiles. The most eyes like elephants there. I have seen in detail how they are maintaining the elephants, how they are making elephants bath. And I have seen the diet they follow for those animals. After visiting, I had a feeling that I should revisit again and again. The place was also maintained so neat and clean. That's it.

So a place where I saw many animals was the Singapore Zoo. I went there when I was only 15 years old, when I was a teenager and I was extremely excited as this was my first international trip abroad. This was in Singapore and I found the city to be very clean compared to where I live in, which is India. And so I was very excited to visit the zoo. I visited the zoo because it is one of the most sought-after tourist spots in Singapore and it was recommended by friends and family and hence we decided to go to the Singapore Zoo. So I went on two safaris in the zoo. There was a morning safari as well as a night safari. In the morning safari I got to see penguins and polar bears, which they were not in India and it was really exciting seeing new animals. And I got to feed penguins and as a teenager I felt so, I felt over the moon. It was a great experience. And in the night safari we couldn't see much but we could actually see fireflies which grew in the dark and that was really surprising to me.

And there I saw a lion which is very beautiful and attractive animal. I think the tiger is the fastest animal in the world. And when I saw him I feel very scared. There are lots of animals but the tiger is most attractive animal there. And I like to watch animals and many more places.

In May 2025, I and my cousin brother embarked on a new journey to Thailand for a 15 days vacation. We took a flight from Mumbai to Bangkok and then went to Koh Tao which was a destination for scuba diving certification course. But when we came back to Bangkok, we were very tired and we were looking for some good place to get a coffee. We went to this cafe where they had this amazing coffee. But after we finished our coffee, a bill came around 500 or 600 Baht and they gifted us a keychain, a lion keychain to be very specific. And then they told us that we have a baby lion or a cub right behind if you wanna pet it. We were just shocked and we went there, we saw that it was such a playful little cub. It was actually a surreal experience. The first time I saw a cub and I was just awestruck. They also gave us an opportunity to feed that lion some milk and have it in a bottle of a small little milk bottle where you can feed the lion and lion will just, you know, play with you. He had a small little tennis ball which you will throw it and he'll go and fetch it for you. Additionally, the lion as baby cub was just as playful as it and this experience was such an unexpected event which is why I think it made it a much much more special event than what would have been. We also saw him eating chicken after that.

Recently, I went to Ooty, which is located in Tamil Nadu, in the south part of India. So to go there, you have to go through a forest, which is called as Bandipudi forest. So in the Bandipudi forest, we will see so many animals like deer, peacock, even tigers, we can spot them. So we usually went in a bus, obviously, safari people are there to protect us. So we started our journey and I'm like hoping to find a tiger. I've never seen a tiger like going free will. I have seen tigers in zoos, but it doesn't feel realistic to me. I just want to see a tiger which is roaming in forest freely, but I never got a chance to see that. But I have watched these elephants, peacocks, like running in the forest and just like free birds. I like, I was disappointed, like, I have not seen it, but it's okay. I can experience it other time. So this forest is located in the Karnataka and Tamil Nadu forest, called as Bandipudi forest. So I feel like it is a very, very vast, vast place. You can see, you can spot many, many animals there, but anyway, I didn't spot it any. That's okay. But that's okay. While I was traveling, I have clipped so many pictures of the group of these I'm seeing or elephants I'm seeing, they usually have names for these elephants as well. Because they want to preserve the wildlife and all, you are not allowed to take even plastic bottles in there. So I was kind of bored after some time because I'm not even spotting any animal, but in the whole time, I was enjoying the light because in hoping of seeing them, but in the end, I didn't see it.

Usually we see animals here and there surrounding us, right? But one day when we were in Kodaikanal with my family, I saw a huge bison. If you see the movie Bahubali, you'll find a huge bison. So in the same way, I've seen a huge bison, which really made me petrified. Just by seeing it, we thought of running away. And luckily we were in a car that time, so we didn't get off the car. But we started as soon as possible, but the bison, to our surprise, it ran behind us. And we were terrified whether it would cause some damage to our car. But seriously, that was the most memorable moment for us. Because we just thought there is no farmer in the garden so that we can go pick some fruits. But instead of that, to our surprise, the bison was there.

A few months back, I went to a zoo with my family, with my husband and my daughter. At zoo, I saw tiger, monkeys, then crocodile and there are various types of birds. I enjoyed that place with my daughter. My daughter was overjoyed by looking and seeing the animals in real. She was very excited and she enjoyed her time a lot by seeing those animals in real. The bird section was the most amazing place because in that area, birds were not in the particular cage. The place was very huge, it's a dome type of structure and in that dome structure, the people were roaming around within the birds. You can see birds very closely. That experience was very amazing. I saw tiger very closely because he was not in the cage. The place was covered with glass so you can see tiger through a glass. Me and my family enjoyed this trip a lot and I saw so many animals in that zoo. The place was at a height.

There are different types of places where I saw different types of animals. But here I would like to tell about a place, specifically a place where I saw different types of animals which is unforgettable and memorable for me. It is none other than Aju.
