When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

I want to recall the time when I visited Ramnagar. It is in Uttarakhand, India. We went there to visit the Jim Corbett National Park. It is a forest reserved by the Indian government, which is a home to so many species and so many mammals. There we actually had to book a safari because without the government permission you are not allowed to get into. So you have to book a safari jeep from outside the forest only and then the guide and the personal instructor will take you there. So we had other people also because we were carpooling. Other people also with us and then there was a couple and there were some college students also. So as soon as we started there, we started to see some animals such as deers and some monkeys were there but we were really excited to see the tigers. So everyone was just trying to see the tigers and even when the guide told us that sometime it's possible that we might not even see a single tiger because that totally depends on our luck as we have a fixed route. So we have to follow that one only. If we were lucky enough to find the tiger or the route then only we were able to see the tigers. So we were all wishing for the tigers. We saw some elephants and some other animals also but after some time, after one and a half hour into the trips, we finally saw the tigers. They were just roaming around in the far place. So we all were very happy then we all came back. Thank you.

A place where I saw animals in their natural habitat was Muddu Malai National Park, located at the foothills of Nilgiri Hills in Tamil Nadu, a South Indian district, state. It's part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve and is known for its rich wildlife and lush greenery. I went there with my family during a short holiday break. We booked for a safari early in the morning, you know, that golden hour where nature looks like it's straight out of a movie. The jeep took us through winding trails inside the reserve and we spotted a herd of elephants, spotted deer, Indian goats and even a group of peacocks doing their flashy little dance. And the highlight was catching sight of a South bear from a distance, adorable, but definitely not something you'd want to hug. While there apart from the safari, we also visited the elephant camp inside the reserve where rescued elephants are taken care of. I even got the chance to feed one of them a banana and let me tell you, that trunk is stronger than it looks. Seeing animals in the wild, especially in such a peaceful and natural setting, was honestly unforgettable. It made me realize how disconnected we are from the wild and how important it is to protect these creatures and their habitat. There's something humbling about watching them go about their life without a care for human cares. I felt calm and emotional and completely in awe.

During my summer vacations, I visited the Mysore Zoo. It is a very big zoo and it is a home to a wide variety of animals from tigers, lions, bears to even exotic species such as the hippopotamus, the giraffe, zebras. There were also a wide range of birds such as the flamingos, the pelicans, the parakeets, the musko parrots. I also saw a lot of different reptiles and types of snakes while I was there. It was a really beautiful zoo. I spent my entire afternoon roaming around, observing different animals in their natural habitats, seeing how they reacted to people, what they were doing. I am also very fond of photography so I tried to capture as many animals as beautifully as I could. It was such an exhilarating experience. I was out of my words when I saw how beautiful the whole experience was, seeing the animals so closely and so naturally in their habitat. It made me feel closer to nature.

One place where I had a really memorable experience with animals was Rajiv Gandhi Geological Park in Pune, India. I visited it last year with a group of friends during the winter holidays as a part of a short getaway trip. The zoo is quite large and well maintained, located near Karjat Lake. It's divided into several sections including a snake park, a wildlife section and a mini aquarium as well. I was really impressed by the variety of animals there. I saw majestic lions, white tigers, leopards and sloth bear in a large enclosure. In the reptile area, we saw a huge python and several venomous snakes including cobras and vipers. There were several herbivorous animals like deer and elephants. What stood out for me was the most important part of seeing the white lion up close. It looked so powerful yet calm, pacing slowly in its enclosure. That moment made me reflect how magnificent and diverse nature is. And also how important it is for us to protect these endangered species. I had only seen such animals on television or in books before, so seeing them in real life was unnatural. Overall, the experience was both educational and emotional. While I was amazed by the animals, I also felt a sense of sadness that many of them were in captivity. It made me think more deeply about conservation and the human impact on wildlife. The visit sparked a stronger appreciation in me for animals.

Last year I went to the zoological park in Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala. This place is a zoological park which has many interesting species like the white tiger, the rhinoceros and also much more. It attracts children. On entering the zoo I had a very good feel and I felt as if I went back to my childhood days. I was as excited as my toddler daughter. Both of us were gasping, thrilled when we saw the white tiger. Moreover, we also went with many of my relatives and friends. All of us had a good time together. It was like olden days, lots of memories of my own childhood when my parents took me to the zoo. It was a nice experience. Moreover, we had great fun walking up and down the roads inside. Also, we had breathtaking views of some beautiful designs and play areas inside the park itself. It was a great adventure. Every time my daughter gasped in thrill seeing one or more of the animals and the monkeys and the bear, it was a lot of fun.

The place was the Jim Gorbett National Park. I remember the first time I entered into a grassland near the National Park. My eyes were gazing amusingly at first, but then mesmerized by a heron. Its majestic beauty transported me into a different world. Furthermore, my friends and I had gone there to spend a few days reveling that our exams had ended. It is one of the fondest memories I have of growing up. But now all those memories seem to me at a distance, calling me, bellowing for me, asking me questions, like why don't I remember them often.

Animal species are an equal part of our society as human beings. But I would like to talk about a place where I saw a lot of animals. Actually, in the last summer vacations, I visited a zoo in Chandigarh. The name of that zoo is Shatabir. It is a national park and run by the government. There were a lot of animals in that park, like the lion, tiger, leopard, elephant, and the other species of birds, sparrows, peacock, duck, and many more. I took many photographs of the animals and birds, and I came across their habitat and found out the aspects of the habitat and environment connections. Additionally, I also learned a lot about the eating habits of the animals, and the guide described a lot of features and qualities of each animal. So it was a very mesmerizing experience for me to see the wildlife so closely. I was very happy to interact with the guides and the staff of the zoo.

I visited the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary in Kerala, which is a large forest reserve known for its rich biodiversity. During my visit, I saw several animals including elephants, spotted deer, langurs, wild boars, and peacocks. I went on an early morning jeep safari with a group of tourists and a forest guide. We drove slowly through the forest trails, and the guide helped us spot animals in their natural surroundings. While we were inside the sanctuary, we stopped at certain safe points to take photos and quietly observe the animals. The elephants were the most majestic. Watching a herd of them walking together was truly a sight to behold. I also saw a group of deer grazing, and some playful monkeys swinging between trees. Seeing these animals in the wild, away from cages and enclosures, felt incredibly peaceful and humbling. It reminded me of the importance of preserving nature and protecting wildlife. The experience made me feel more connected to the environment and more aware of how fragile and beautiful the natural world is.

One place where I saw a lot of animals was at Chittaburi Zoo which is located near Chandigarh in Northern India. I visited it last winter during my semester break with my cousin and uncle. This zoo is quite large and home to wide variety of animals and birds. I saw tiger to lions, elephants, zebras, hippos and even some exotic animals like ostrich and giraffes which fascinated me the most were the white tiger. They looked majestic and powerful. There was also a special area where we could see reptiles like snakes and crocodiles. While I was there, we took a lion safari ride which was both exciting and a bit nerve-wracking. We were inside a scared cased vehicle and the lions were roaming freely around in their enclosed territory. It was incredible to see them up so close in a semi-natural environment. Apart from that, we clicked pictures, walked around different enclosures and read information abroad to learn more about each species. Seeing the animals made me feel like a mix of emotions. On one hand, I was amazed and happy to witness such diversity in the animal kingdom. On the other hand, I felt a little sad to see some animals behind bars even though I understand they are well known, take care and protected there. Therefore, it was a memorable and eye-opening experience and it made me appreciate the importance of wild life conversation even more.
