A local school has advertised for people to do unpaid work helping at the school. You would like to do some work at the school in your free time.

Write a letter to the school principal. In your letter

• explain why you would like to do unpaid work at the school

• say what type of unpaid work you would be able to do

• give details of when you would be available for this work

Write at least 150 words.

Dear Sir or Madam, I saw your advertisement for the requirement of people for helping at your school without any salary. I am writing to request you for my consideration to serve the school in this initiative. My name is Akshita Sharma and I am working as a Software Engineer in Incedo Technologies in this city. I would love to contribute in the school's good deed because I am very fond of kids. In addition to this, I always wanted to become a teacher during my childhood, hence I would be able to form a better connect with the students. I am interested in teaching computers to students, as learning computers will not only help them in their academics but also will benefit them in their jobs. Moreover, because of advance technologies and digitalisation computers have become the necessity of today's time, and all students should start learning it from their primary classes. Furthermore, I have my job from 12 am to 8 pm. But I am available for the morning sessions between 9 am to 11 am. I am highly interested for this opportunity as it will facilitate the students in their career growth and would be an amazing experience for me. Dear Sir or Madam, Hope you are doing well. This is in reference to your flyer for extending a helping hand with school work. I would like to nominate myself for the garding work over the weekend. I have been taking care of my personal garden for some time and I feel that I can contribute to the schools garden work. I have all the tools available with me and I have some time to kill over the weekend. Gardning is my passion and this can help build my experience with various plants and working on different terrains is a challenge I am looking forward to. I can trim the over grown fences, grass and help with rearranging plants based on the amount of sunlight they get during different parts of the day. I'm available for coming weeked Saturday and Sunday while I will be availabe only on Saturday next week as I need to attend a family function on Sunday. Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to tell that i would like to help in serving during first half of break time in canteen. Since there are long qeues in canteen at lunch time,I though of doing this service voulantarily and I want to do it without receiving any pay.I wish to do this service for school because i believe that serving and helping gives me much satisfaction and delight. Respected sir, I am writing this letter to express my interest in advertisement on voluntary work in your school. It will be a privilage for me to be a part of this prestigious organization along with fulfilling societal responsibilities. I am a postgraduate student and working on a project to study about children learning methods. Moreover, It will be an insightful finding to share the learning from this project. Furthermore, I can take sessions by using dgital tools which is a great method divised to maximise the learning in children. I have divised some modules which i can share with you. Lastly about my availability, I can contribute after lunchbreak for one hour on mondays to make childen more engaged in school throughout week. Dear Sir / Madam , I am writing this letter in response to the advertisement in The Daily Newspaper on 23 feb 2025 by your school for the requirement of unpaid helper. I am willing to participate in this work at your prestigious institution as I am an active member of parents group in this school, and even i have been a former student at this reputed alma matter. I am an accountant by profession meanwhile in freetime i like do gardening as well. Perhaps, i am good with plumbing and repairing . Thereby considering my skills , i would like to help with minor repairs and plumbing issue, gardening and a bit of accounting as well.
