The village of Ryehath has seen vast development since the year 1990. As of 2015, there are multiple additions to the village that facilitate transportation without majorly impacting the river. The new bridge allows for commute accross the river into an area of housing that was previously occupied by a forest. This, along with the dissappearance of the farmlands have caused a huge loss of greenery in Ryehath. It is evident how much the village has developed with the number of houses. This also indicates the increase in pollution not just due to the loss of greenery and forests. The increase in houses also points at the larger population now residing in Ryehath. Ryehath has transitioned more into a city with a college, cafe, supermarket, post office and a petrol pump while compared to 1990. The most striking one amongst the two is the construction of a bridge across the river along with the cliff road perpendicular to it, which was once coverd by an ample growth of a forest in 1990. Ever since, the deforestation has lead to the uprise of residential communities which are thus connected by the cliff road to the main village.
