Over the course of two and a half decades, the village of Ryehath has seen significant infrastructure development. While, urbanization has resulted in deforestation, residential and commercial activities have replaced agriculture. Police station, primary school, garden and windmill have been the only constant; apart from the river and two roads. A bridge connecting the village to the land across the river is constructed. The forest cover that once populated the land across the river is now repurposed to residential zone with Cliff road bisects it. The farmland on the north of police station is replaced by a cafe and petrol pump. Whereas, the farmland on the southern edge is again repurposed to residential zone with a dedicated space for parking. Next to the primary school, towards the eastern corner, a college is constructed. Shops between the farmland and windmill are upgraded to supermarket. And lastly, a post office is erected to the south of this supermarket. To summarise, over the last 25 years- replacing the agrarian activities; commercial, residential and educational activites have found a prominance in the village, supported by neccessary infrastructure
