I would personally disagree to that statement as even if an update reaches people through social networks before the News channel. The primary work of fact check and background check can only be done by the people sitting in those news station. No matter the age maybe the news paper will be replaced totally due to digitalisation but the news channel still have a lot to give. The updates, the opinions of different strata of the societies, the ground coverance and a lot more. News channels are not just the source of updates but are also thr prime source of debates, controversial topics and opinions. No matter how much time passes no social media platform can provide the ground coverage of a situation as it is given by the news channels. The skill of journalism would not be found on any social media platform. If we have to choose majority of the people like sitting in front of the TV's or big screens and getting the highlights of the day, many people still use news channel as one of the source to get a hold on current affairs. An update on inner politics or update on what happening inside the government could be the biggest trump card the news channels have over the social media. Well to concude both of the sources are highly being used by the people but when comparing the two platforms, news channel has a upper hand over social networks, as there are many places where no individual is allowed however, those same places which might be hidden from the eye of general public are accessible by the team which works in news channel hence making it a more stable and outright accurate source of information.

Social networks are delivering news and updates faster than traditional news channels, leading many to believe that news stations might soon become obsolete. while social media undeniably plays a significant role in modern news consumption, I strongly believe that traditional news outlets will remain indispensable. Social networks have become a popular source of news largely because of their immediacy. Breaking stories are often shared on these platforms in real time, with firsthand accounts, and live videos provinding instant access to unfolding events. This speed is unmatched by traditional news channels, which must adhere to production schedules and thorough editorial processes. Additionally, social networks offer users the ability to customize their news feeds, receiving updates tailored to their interests and preferences. Another advantage of social networks is the diversity of perspectives the provide. Moreover, social networks foster interactivity, enabling users to engage in discussions, share their views, and participate in debates, which adds an element of involvement that traditional media cannot replicate. However, the growing reliance on social networks for news raises significant concerns. A major issue is the spread of misinformation and fake news. Unlike traditional news outlets, which are bound by strict journalistic standards and fact-checking protocols, social media lacks effective oversight, allowing unverified or false information to circulate widely. Furthermore, traditional news outlets excel in providing in-depth analysis and investigate journalism. News stations employ experts, analysts, and correspondents who delve deeply into topics, presenting well-rounded perspectives that social networks cannot replicate. In conclusion, while social networks have transformed how people consume news by offering speed and diversity, they are unlikely to fully replace traditional news channels.

In recent days there is a drastic increase in the number of people using social media. Due to which people are instantly updated with the latest news or information even before news channels. There are some controversies that social media will fully replace the news channels. However I completely disagree that social media can destroy broadcast journalism. Although the technology is fast growing and the communication has also taken various new forms in the last decade, the importance of news has also been increasing. Social media can provide a lot of updates but not all of them can be trusted. Most of the information com from an unrelieable source. This can lead to miscommunication amoung the citizens. For example if a man is in a trail and suppose the social media posts something about that man that is not true that can seriously affect the man's life. But news channels never provide any facts without proper proof. Therefore press can be considered a official site where people can rely on the sources. Eventhough there is boom in technology, it is not neccasary that press channels will be replaced. Many of the channels are also developing with the advent of social media. News people connect with citizens through social media and covey the official facts. So in this way the news medium will not be completely removed by any ither means of communcation. Press will only be developed along with the social web. There is no destroying or replacing any official news channels.

The rise of social networks has undeniably transformed the people consume news and updates. Platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram provide a wide range of topics about latest updates from all around the world and reaches faster than the news channels. However, the statement that news stations will soon be replaced by social networks is quite debatable. While Social networks have their advantages, they also present significant challenges. One of the primary advantages of social network is its speed and accessibility. Users can instantly share, upload or download the information, making it invaluable source for breaking news. For instance, during events like natural disasters eyewitnesses provide immediate coverage before news stations. However, the reliability and credibility of the social networks remain a major concern. This has led to false information and fake news, which can have serious consequnces. For instance, false reports on social media during the COVID-19 pandemic caused confusion and panic. Moreover, news channels offer in-depth analysis, expert opinions that social media posts often lack. While a tweet or a post can provide immediate updates, it is the detailed reporting by journalists that help audiences understand broader implications of events. In conclusion, while social networks have evolved and revolutionalized in the way the news is shared, they cannot fully replace traditional news channels. Instead of one replacing the other, a complementary relationship between the two can better serve public's need for both speed and accuracy in news reporting.

Social media reaches us with quick bites sooner than the news channels do, but the question of reliability stings us. The present generation widely uses social media and consumes news from it more than they do from traditional news media. However, this might not always be the best way to consume news since the threat of fake news always looms around. There are more bad than good when news is consumed from social media ad is shared rapidly around the world without any verification about the truth in the news that is being spread. Such actions leave a scar on the lives of the people when the news is fake. In traditional news media, there is proper research and different levels of approval involved before the news is published, making it a reliable medium to consume news. While we see the young hung to social media for quick bites, we cannot ignore the elderly, who still prefer the old way. Even today we can see people who read the newspaper not just for news but to improve their vocabulary. Another concerning factor that comes with consuming news from social media is the sensationalism that comes with it. Information and content that does not need significant attention also circulate over the ones that need our immediate attention. Flashy pictures with sensational headlines get the most reach than a significant topic that demands our attention. With access to all the information in our palm size gadget, consuming news from the social media does have a bright side if we use it with caution and sensitivity; however, news stations may not be completely replaced in the near future, at least until we find a solution to eradicate fake news.
