A certain section of our society regard that technology and science have helped the human civilisation reach its highest standards of living while other people are of the opinion that technology and science can often have negative impacts among humans. In this essay we shall find out about both the positive as well as the negative aspects about technology and science. In recent times, technology has become an integral and fundamental part of our day-to-day lives. One of the primary reasons for this is the fact that technology has made our lives easier. From booking a cab to ordering groceries, everything is just a fingertip away. Technology has replaced the ancient production machines and has made production of goods much easier and less time consuming. This has increased the income of our country and also reduced the price of many commodities. Possibly the biggest use of technology in today's world is found in the education sector of our country. Students nowadays can easily access study materials and video lectures by the use of mobile phones or laptops. Curbing the growth of many harmful diseases like cancer and polio is another positive impact of science. Technology can also have harmful impacts in our society. The massive surge in the unemployement rate in the world depicts the negative impact of technology. Due to the rise in technology, harmful websites and dark webs are easily accessible to young people which in turn is destroying the minds of our new generation. The public in general have become less active due to the ease of technology and thus several diseases like obesity and fatty liver are on a rise. We can come to the conclusion that technology can have both positive and harmful effects on the human civilisation and it is upto us on how we perceive and use technology. If we use the technology wisely then it will be a blessing for us otherwise it might turn out to be a disaster.

There's always a debate whether science and technology has contributed in the pinnacle living of humans or it has impacted it in a non-positive way. Generally, majority of the people only acknowladge the positive aspects of technology and science development. However, some belive that its consiquence are more destructive then its merits. It would be far from true to say that technology and science hasn't contributed enough in the development of human race, as from the very beggining of human evolution, discoveries such as wheels, fire and weapons are the key factors which drived humans to the position they are currently at. Without these inventions human civilisation would have been far from its current state. For example, invention of planes by White brothers lead to a whole new way for transportation of both goods and people. On the other hand, many are concerned about the darker side of technology and science such as, how technology is controling minds of masses and influencing them towards a much unhealthy lifestyle. The convience which comes with developing tech causes people to fully rely on it. For example, people are now fully dependent on their devices even for the smallest task assigned, their abliity to memorise things has reduced and most importantly, young children are addicted to mobile devices which might hinder the development of their brains. Inaddition to these, there are also major ecological and climate related concerns relating to the growing science. The development huge machineries, refineries and mining the earth's crust has caused seviour harm to wildlife and fauna. Therefore, it is belived by some that development of science and technology has enabled human to achive newer heights, where else other belive it to be destructive.

The impact of technological advances in our lives has sparked a debate. While most people believe that this has helped us progress and move forward as a society, others seem to disagree. I will be discussing both viewpoints and giving my opinion. Technology and science has been prevalent since the beginning of time. Various Roman and Greek philosophers have put forward theories with the help of science, which has shaped the current world. However, in the past decade , the rise of technology and science has accelerated quite significantly. In the early 2000's , communication across the globe was done through phone call booth, emails and letters. The introduction of applications such as Messenger and Skype has made communication much easier by breaking geographical boundaries . Furthermore, the development of AI has helped in improving the quality of life by identifying and detecting deadly diseases and cancer quite early. On the other hand, most of the data is being stored on computers and large databases. There have been many ethical concerns regarding this , as it may breach the privacy of an individual. Education has also opted for the online route and this has caused an increase in screen addiction among the younger generation. Screen addiction remains a growing problem which hinders the creativity of a child. A large number of jobs are being replaced by technology and this has caused quite a number of people to face financial problems due to lack of jobs. According to recent statistics, AI may replace atleast 50% of the jobs by 2030. This has caused a concern and fear among working population and may lead to higher unemployment rates in the country, In conclusion, I strongly feel that technology and science is needed for the development of society. It is because of science, that treatments have been found to diseases that were deadly before. However, on the long run , may harm the working population. To prevent this from happening, government must enforce stricter rules for protecting the privacy of people and laws to protect the vulnerable section of the society. At an individual level, healthy practices must be adopted to curb the rise of heart diseases and obesity among the sedentary population

The impact of technology and science on human civilization is a subject of profound debate. While many argue that advancements in these fields have elevated human living standards to unprecedented heights, others believe that they have brought about significant challenges. This essay will discuss both perspectives before presenting my opinion. On the one hand, science and technology have undeniably transformed the way we live, work, and interact. Innovations in medicine, for instance, have eradicated diseases that once claimed millions of lives, leading to increased life expectancy and improved quality of life. The advent of the internet has revolutionized communication, education, and commerce, making knowledge and services more accessible to people across the globe. Furthermore, technological breakthroughs in fields such as renewable energy and transportation have not only boosted economic growth but also aimed at addressing pressing global issues like climate change. These advancements have indeed positioned humanity on the pinnacle of living. On the other hand, the same progress in science and technology has its downsides. Excessive reliance on technology has led to issues such as digital addiction, diminished interpersonal skills, and a sedentary lifestyle, contributing to various health problems. Moreover, technological advancements have exacerbated environmental degradation, as the production and disposal of electronic devices result in pollution and waste. Additionally, some scientific innovations, such as nuclear weapons, pose existential threats to humanity. These consequences highlight the double-edged nature of technological progress. In my opinion, while science and technology have brought immeasurable benefits, their negative effects cannot be ignored. To ensure a sustainable future, it is imperative to strike a balance by promoting responsible innovation and fostering global cooperation to mitigate the adverse impacts. In conclusion, technology, and science have transformed human civilization in both positive and negative ways. It is our collective responsibility to harness their potential for the greater good.

Modernization has certainly brought along with it many technological and scientific advances. While some argue, that progress in these fields played a major role in building the current human civilisation , few others believe that they have their own share of downsides as well. I strongly feel that the present living standards would not have been achieved without science and technology, mainly because it has helped to broaden our knowledge and has provided solutions of problems which were once thought to be unsolvable. To begin with, scientific knowledge has invoked the idea of research among the young minds, which has led to many innovative discoveries that has paved the way for development as a whole. As the students were introduced to this unknown domain at a young age, they developed immense interest in creating something new. For example, increasing number of scholars chose architecture and engineering which allowed them to construct buildings and bridges, as well as improve the pre-existing transport system. Moreover, technology also gives a way to connect with people all across the globe, thus helping to get insights from the worldwide experts. Previously a problem had to be solved only by a local team, however current work culture promotes involving distant members online from various places with the ultimate goal of achieving excellence. However, this sure has negative aspects as well, especially in the form of environmental damage that has occurred over the years as a parallel damage. Indeed, the constructions increased at the expense of deforestation, air pollution and consumption of fossil fuels. Over the years, the area of land covered by trees has decreased significantly due to the growing number of human population. In conclusion, technology and science have been essential pillars for civilisation of mankind primarily as it has helped people achieve the impossible . However, it has also caused considerable environmental damage as a by-product. Thus, as much as they are an integral part of development, balancing it with environmental protection modalities is necessary in the current era.

Technological advancements and scientific innovations have benifitted the humans to lead the best possible and most comfortable life. Though all these progressions seem extrmemly attractive they come at an expense of depleting the nature to the core. A limited number of advancements should be accepted which does not harm the enivronment or livelihood of certain skilled workers in any manner. Since the evolution of humans we have seen innumerable advantages science, technology a byproduct of science has given us. To name a few recent trends like Aritificial Intelligence (A.I.), involvment of robots in mundane activities of humans mostly in manufacturing domain etc. These have proven to give the mankind the leisure which we have not seen in decades. This has also helped in reducing human errors almost to nil and also reducing human intervention. The advantages we have reaped from the world of science do not outweigh the harm in any manner it has caused to the citizens of the world. First and major one being the harm caused to the forests and animals in terms of using the flora and fauna in the experiments conducted to such an extent that few of them are on the verge of extinction. Secondly the rising the advancements have given birth to new forms of serious issues like hacking, morphing and use of technology by terrorists in wars. All the experiments, discoveries and innovations must be striclty held under the supervision of the government. The institutions planning to contribute to the development of the humans through science should be given full autonomy at same time there must be people from elected bodies who will have the audacity to question them. At the end it is not responsibility of government alone to look after these issues caused by excess improvement of science, we all together should come together in finding a sustainable solution to this problem if not this might rise up to be a major global concern in the coming years.

Science is the formative ground for all the socio-economical growth in human history. We have to acknowledge and be grateful to science since it has unarguably fostered us to birth technologies that drive the world around us today. Being mindful about how we ethically use technology to positively, grow ahead is the mighty difference that will decide the future harmony between humans and the technology itself. At least until now, we are still in the power of the technologies we control and not the other way around; if we carefully design technology as per the ethical guidelines, we can stick to being on the receiving end of the positive effects of technology and use it to our needs and requirements. In the olden days, without scientific technologies, we were not able to use non-renewable resources efficiently, whereas now, with technologies like tidal power, hydrogen-powered vehicles, hydel power generators and other non-renewable resource-saving technologies, we are able to efficiently use the resources for human needs. Advancements in agricultural technology and scientific methodologies have significantly eradicated phenomena such as famine, saving the population from going extinct. In contrast, we can see the advanced use of pesticides and insecticides and the scientific manipulation of organic fruits and vegetables through gene manipulation have caused significant health hazards on human health. There exists a frail line of balance between the scientific advancement of technology and the ethical, rightful use of science for the sustainable growth of mankind. The art of balancing it right will save the humanity.

On the one hand, innovations have been taking over the world and is helping humans pick out the easiest way to do anything. To start with, home delivery option, this has made a person enjoy the luxury of food, clothes within the comfort of their home. An employee can work from any corner of the world and support the organisation's growth with the help of internet. This does not only provides comfort while working, also gives the employees happiness of working alongside their family. On the other hand, people can have various problems from the growing technology fields. Comfortable life that innovation has given has also made people lazy. In otherwords, humans hesitate to go outside of their house and enjoy the nature because of all the things available online easily. For instance, a person would rather wait for the food that they have ordered through an application than choosing to walk towards the restaurant and have their food. Moreover, this has also taken out of the work life balance of people, due to the technolgy gadgets that will work anywhere, it has lead humans forgetting the different between personal and professional life. Tasks that used to be time consuming and mundane are now faster, easier and more importantly requires lesser workforce. Moreover, with the invension of technology, human work culture became efficient and global. It leads to the birth of novel opportunities and enhanced the scope of work. Additionally, breaking the conventional barriers of classroom learning technological innovations redifined modes of education. The impact that it makes in the field of healthcare, pharmaceutical development and agricultre are remarkable. However, every coin has two sides. While there are wide range of benefits for technology, there are chances that it might lead to a massive job loss and global recession. On top of that, fear of being replaced by machines will always be dominant in human minds forcing human beings to constantly learn new skills to stay updated. Nevertheless, instead of shutting down the power of technology, the world should be ready to embrace it while tackling the shortcomings. For which, companies and educational institutions should function towards developing a technologically sound work force.
