In recent times, both local and worldwide vacations have been gaining popularity. Though some people prefer to go to places within their own country, some visit international destinations. In my opinion, even though international holidays can be exciting it is important to first visit all the national destinations and then move to the international ones. To begin with, going on a holiday in one's own country is risk-free and more financially feasible to everyone. Firstly, the travellers will not need any passports or costly travel insurances to visit destinations in their nation. Moreover, one can explore their own cultures, traditions and cuisines better and learn their personal history. National tours are not only light on one's pocket ranging from cheaper flights and hotels compared to the international options but also are provide a boost to the local tourism industry and overall countries economy. For instance, Indian tourism industry is a huge market and contributes to 12% of the countries GDP and this can be further boosted when tourists travel within the country first and keep the money within the nation. On the contrary, international travels can give a traveler more exposure to the world outside their country. They can learn new languages, experience various cultures, wide variety of food habits and local beliefs which otherwise are unknown to them. However, such travels cannot be affordable to everyone and can strain the pockets. Furthermore, one can improve their international connections which can help them in the future. To illustrate this, many Indian students tend to travel to the United States of America as tourist and visit several universities which they plan to apply for in the coming future and establish connections with professors who may help them secure a seat further. In conclusion, while both national and international tours are equally benifical in their own ways. I think it is important to first explore one's own country before travelling abroad which supports their own nations economy. However, if one has completed visiting all the possible national tourist spots then they can plan international holidays.

In my opinion, choosing a holiday vacation depends upon the individual preferences. However, I would be happy to list the benefits and disadvantages of both domestic and international travel. On the one hand, people choose to travel abroad in order to cover multiple destinations in one go. The main this is affordability - air tickets are cheaper when you travel for 2-3 destinations simultaneously. Not only the price, but the service at airports also provides premium check-in options by paying a small cost. For instance, I planned to travel to a destination in Europe. The travel was about 3 days each time. Based on the service provided, there is no need to check-in any luggage and I can arrive 1 hour prior to boarding. Additionally, you can enjoy different delicious meals every day. On the other hand, there is a certain ease about exploring the place where you live. You can travel by public transport or by car as you are aware of the destinations around your place. In case, if you are in a pickle, you can call your friends or family for help. For example, I travelled with a group of friends to Ooty 2 weeks back and it was one of the most memorable vacation ever. We planned our journey like a road trip to cover most of the destination. Without a planned staycation, we were not able to enjoy the culture and traditional food of Ooty. I believe, there are positives to both methods of travel. However, it is up to the individual which they would prefer.

Proponents prefer to go on a holiday within their country, whereas others enjoy travelling to international destinations more. In my opinion, both domestic and international travels are excellent ways of rejuvenation, however, if I were to choose one, I would prefer travelling abroad. the following paragraphs will enumerate my views on the former and the reasons why I prefer the latter. Furthermore, there is no better way to learn about one's culural legacy than travelling within the country, which makes it the right option for those attracted to their roots. For these reasons, which include, relatively inexpensive travel, no need for long breaks and the opportunity to learn one's own culture, many people prefer travelling within the country. On the other hand, there are a significant number of people who enjoy travelling abroad, including me. Travelling abroad fills within one with an eagerness to learn about the culture of other countries. Additionally, it forces the traveller to adapt to different situations which is a great way to cultivate a travel mindset. Furthermore, it helps develop friendships across the globe, which is a great source of positivity in many. Travelling abroad is the perfect option for those who are eager to learn about other's culture, learn to adapt everywhere and make new friends. To conclude, there are various reasons why people like to travel locally and internationally. Both are excellent ways to unwind and seek new experiences, however, I prefer travelling to foreign locations because it helps us learn about new cultures and develop an inclination towards travelling and adapting.

Secondly, certain people want to travel abroad as they would want to travel to different kinds of places , explore the world , learn a few important things and implement it in their work or life and live life king size. For instance, one of my close friend is a vlogger, she loves to travel to exotic places and post her experiences about the place on a social platform that would further help other travellers. Lastly, travelling can be a form of enjoyment , work , peace , experience , growth or even life changing for some people . It can be either within the country or outside of it. I would personally take a stand for my opinion that it would be great to travel within the country first as its extremely essential to know , experience and appreciate our own land, people, flora and fauna and culture . This in turn would help us take our culture and stories of our land to other nations and also appreciate theirs better.

For example, most corporate leaders and entrepreneurs plan their vacation abroad compared to their native country because there are many options available to explore nature. Moreover, although wealthy people are held with tight schedules, planning makes them plan their trips effectively. Hence, foreign locations are the ideal places to plan their trip to have a broader scope to explore. In conclusion, although there are arduous challenges in place to plan any trip irrespective of native or aboard, it is truly based on people's preferences and opinions to have a better holiday trip to make them into a memorable one.
