There is a contrast in opinions between people regarding stay in a house and in an apartment, where both the sides state their benefits. In my view, both the options have their own advantages and disadvantages. With regard to people who opt for individual house or bungalow, the main thought behind is the satisfaction of staying in peace. They usually want to have their own space without the intervention of any external factor. The biggest positive aspect is for those, who don't like people around them. In such cases, they feel free to do whatever they wish to, whether it is having a pet or growing your own garden. But, in such cases, sometimes one can feel lonely. Though there might be instances when we hate being around our neighbours, but in the time of need, they are the first ones whom we can approach. As for individuals who promote staying in apartments, they are well aware about the demerits of staying in a self owned house. They prefer company of people and want to socialize around. However, this option also has it's own limitations. Living in a flat means, adjusting with your neighbours even if they are unbearable. Additionally, if you stay on a higher floor, without the facility of a lift, it might create inconvenience. People staying in apartments always have restrictions for pets. Due to these drawbacks, many try to buy their own house. In conclusion, I would like to say that, it depends on the personal preference of an individual that which option suits the best to him, as long as he is well verse with all the problems he might face during his stay.

Incase if a theif breaks in or something uncertain happens there might be not a single person who would have seen it which will make it a close to impossible task to find the culrpit. Secondly going with residing in an apartment has a different set of advantages like having an additional layer of security, access to various ameneties like shared gym, running trial, shared pools etc. There is no something called as free meal, all this also comes at a price which we have to pay to get these benifits which is maintenance cost which we have to pay irrespective of the fact that we use it or not another disadvantage of apartment is that there is a lot of intervention from neighbours in our personal lives which might be too much in few circumstances and the worst one being shared parking spaces. In my personal experience having tsyaed in both flat as well as an apartment both staying in flat and apartment has its own list of benifits and disadvantages. The fact that all of the family members wishing to reside together should decide on it remains quintessential. For a fact we need to understand that residing in a flat or an apartment has various factors to consider. And you might want to stay in each of them in different stages of your life as per your needs.

Finally, we could say, the investment is way higher in contrast to that of apartment. As houses often has higher resale value and can appreciate even more. Coming to living in an apartment, first and foremost is its affordability. Apartments are generally more affordable compared to houses, specially in cities. In addition to that, they are often located in central areas, with easy access to workplace, schools and other amenities, increasing the convenience overall. Moving forward, we got low maintenance. Apartment maintenance are usually handled by the building management, and one need not worry about the expenses and repairs. Furthermore, most apartments are often in a gated community or just around a community. This provides the opportunity to socialize with neighbors and access shared facilities such as gym, pool etc. Finally, we could say, apartments are better equiped with security measures such as gated entrances, guards, security cameras etc. For example, I have been living in an apartment, since a while and we have got our own gym, spa, pool and other shared facilities with other neighbors, all within a gated community guarded by security personnels. In conclusion, one's opinion can hinge on their lifestyle and priorities. For example, if priotizing privacy and space, House might be better. For convenience and affordability, apartment could be ideal.

On the other hand, living in a house has quite a few disadvantages like high maintenance, cost etc. That is why I believe living in an apartment is much better. First and foremost reason is that most apartments are quite affordable comparing to houses. Moreover there's also less maintenance required as the responsibility is taken by the landlord and other workers. There's also security available ensuring your safety. Additionally, it has multiple amenities like gyms, pools, laundry etc. Apartments are also usually located in urban areas which makes it easier to get to places especially if your someone that works in urban areas, it also offers convenient access to public transport, restaurants, entertainment etc. To sum up, both apartments and houses offers unique benefits. Apartments include many benefits like low maintenance, affordability etc. However, houses are more ideal for families, particulary joint families.
